un romantico hotel”
Ottimo soggiorno la stanza deluxe enorme con la vista sulla baia siamo stati benissimo
Wonderful (but expensive) place to stay”
We stayed in one of the family suites, and it was incredibly spacious, with a large kitchen and living room, and private patios for each bedroom. The food was excellent, the swimming pools were great, and the staff were wonderful. My one complaint is that it's quite pricey--even the water bottles cost double what we would pay at a nice restaurant.
Excellent location and view, intimate resort ”
Location and resort is excellent. Minor niggling service issues, minibar is only upon request, limited and expensive. Room service is not available. Staffs level of friendliness and attitude is hit and miss. Pool bar has zero life about it and the bar staff made zero effort to encourage customers to eat and drink there. Overall resort is well priced for the location, nice and quiet, private balcony with uninterrupted sea views, very relaxed.
Beautiful location on the hill, but...”
The location of the hotel is beautiful. The Deluxe Villa for example is getting pretty old and worn. The kitchen equipment is minimal and as old as the kitchen itself. For self-catering not really usable. Pool is beautiful.
Nice , pleasant hotel on the hill. No so much thing is happening around the hotel - 2 restaurants at walking distances and everything close at the latest 10pm (normal in Seychelles) Only one negative thing... "Kids" were playing super loud music in their car. The car was far (3mins walk from the room) but the music was so loud we could hear it all day long - It was so irritating at the end of the day.
Everything was perfect. Location is great, bus stop next to the resort. Lovely views around. ”
We stayed there for one night on special occassion. Staff was absolutely amazing, warm and welcoming. Food was perfect. Front office ladies superb. Thanks for lovely stay. Definately we will be back.
Exceptional is the word. ”
Our stay in the pool villa room was for 03 days. First of all the room is just amazing and left us speechless as we entered. There is the only one such room in this resort. To start with, though the resort is little far off from the airport, but its worth. This resort is not at the beach, but it is just little far off. But the view from the room through the pool is spectacular. We couldn't have imagined such a luxurious stay, in our budget for 3 days i.e. € 1060. The villa is also have very good fascilities for self catering. The design of the room itself is sooo romantic.
Best hotel in my life”
Room is beautiful, clean, we had panorama for ocean, also from the shower :) Big balcony. Foods are delicious (we are glutenfree, lactosefree and we always found very tasty foods, staff was very helpful. Relaxing in swimmingpool (panorama for ocean) was very nice. We could fill up and relax. It was the best hotel in my life. I definitely would choose it again!
Tropical Paradise ”
Not a Resort for solo travelers unless you're searching for downtime. There is a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous beach. You are a captive of the Resort for food but the breakfast and dinner buffets are quite good and fairly priced and a light lunch menu is available... the club sandwich is huge and delicious! There is a Nespresso machine in the room! Must purchase coffee pods from restaurant. The pool/ bar/ restaurant area is beautiful. Valmer is a true Tropical Paradise. I'd return if it weren't so far away.
Not very informative or friendly”
The hotel does not offer transport from the airport, no guidelines on taxi rates makes it quite expensive...80Euros one way! No bottled water, we were told to either boil water or buy! Breakfast was very skimpy and repetitive, they put out a few slices of cheese and fruit that you need to ask to be filled up, so too for milk etc. The cook conveniently disappears just as you want to order omelets! Coffee were great and so too the fruits! We have spend a week there and in that time we never felt welcome,we had the feeling that staff preferred to communicate in French and never really made an effort in talking to us. No tourist information is being offered, when we asked what is on offer, we were told to tell them what we want to do!!! Only on the 3rd or 4th day we noticed that they have a car rental- & tourist agent set up at the outside patio area! Internet were dismal!
Very nice stay”
Spacious, comfortable room with amazing pool area”
We only stayed here for two nights but had a great time. The location if far from the airport and the jetty so if you don't plan on staying here long and/or renting a car for going back to Victoria, there are better choices. We were upgraded from "garden villa" to "deluxe villa" out of extra charge, since they were fully booked on these. In the end, we were very happy about this since the garden villas seemed to be situated at the far end of the resort and close to the road. The room was spacious and clean with a bathroom situated in the room (only wc in separate). Spacious balcony for dinner/lunch/breakfast/drinks or relaxation. They offer you the availability of having the restaurant filling up your fridge but there is also small shops nearby for cheap food. Be aware of the lack of vegs and fruit in those shops though! We only had dinner in the restaurant once, buffet, and it was tasteful and a variety of different creal food. The staff was attentive and helpful. If you plan on using the kitchenette, be aware of that it only has one big sucepan and no toaster. The pool area is amazing with spectacular views and clear water in the pool. Swimming at sunset is recommended! The closest beach is nice but shallow and not suitable fow swimming but good for cooling down and relaxation. Nearby Anse Louis is highly recommended but you need to take the bus/car hire/rent taxi for that excursion.
relax and enjoy”
we stayed for 3 nights as it was the end of our honey moon after visiting praslin and mahe we came to rest. the hotel is on a hill which has an easy climb for the young, for the rest there are golf carts that can take you up to your room. small kitchen in the room. the hotel is very quit and relaxing, the pool is great and romantic. the beach and store are 10 min' walk (to the left for both) and the breakfast has a big veraiety and choice.
very nice stay”
it was only one night but it was really very nice day in comfort quiet hotel for relax and get some fresh air
Free upgrade to deluxe villa!”
Last free nights of our honeymoon in Seychelles with an unexpected surprice, free upgrade to deluxe villa, really large and with an amazing ocean view on Baie Lazare. The restaurant was not so cheap but really good and very large portions. The infnity pool is very cool. The staff at first seems cold, but in reality really gentle and nice. A plus is the use of facilities after the check-out that let us take full advantage of the last day. Advices: rent a car to visit the beaches and visit the local party at baie lazare, every last sunday of the month!
