La camera assengnata non era del tipo prenotato Executive Deluxe ma invece del tipo standard, molto rumorosa anche di notte a causa di un forte rumore di motori dell impianto di condizionamento, alla nostra richiesta immediata di cambiare camera per aveve un letto matrimoniale anziche due letti singoli ci e stato risposto che non era possibile perche erano tutte piene e riservate e le altre camere erano di livello superiore (ce ne hanno mostrata una su richiesta dicendoci che l eventuale differenza di prezzo era di dieci euro, ma in sostanza la qualita della camera era simile solo la differenza era nel fatto che aveva un letto matrimoniale anziche due letti singoli). Presenza di zanzare nella zona delle postazioni internet. L impressione generale non e delle migliori una qualita da due stelle anziche da tre stelle

I booked Vissai Saigon Hotel Double Deluxe room through Agoda. I mentioned in the comment section that it is our (my hubby and I) first time to visit Vietnam and we are celebrating our pre-wedding anniversary and perhaps they can book us on a higher floor with a nice view. We never expected for a super upgrade from double deluxe to an Executive Suite!!! Wow!!! It is truly a one of a kind anniversary!!! Thank you so much Vissai Saigon... a hotel with a heart!

Great value only if book via offers”
I was attracted by the good value offers and wish to extend my stay. But the room rate for the extension was just too high! Had the hotel allowed me to extend, it would have saved on having to pay commissions to booking agents etc.

The buffet breakfast consists of low quality food and limited choices. The offerings are the same everyday and several items seem to be leftover from the days before. Housekeeping staff is a bright spot in an overall display of average customer service by the rest of the hotel staff. The front desk personnel shows a lack of enthusiasm in serving the guests. The hotel pool is in a terrible condition as the filter system does not seem to be functioning properly and grouts are either missing or filthy looking. One must wonder if the water is tested regularly to ensure safety for guests.

Fabulous before....so so now”
The hotel had international management in the past and it was really a fabulous hotel with great guest service but unfortunately now it is not the same. I beleive it is now under local management and its obvious from the minute you arrive in the lack of conceirge half the lobby lights off, no music in the lobby, 1 reception staff and no porter. The pool area was dirty, pool bar no staff and generally looked unkept. Obviously the Spa is managed externally. In the room the small things are missing that make a 5 star feel like a 5 star. In summary (and I work in Hotel Management) I would now rate this hotel as a good 3.5 or maybe tops 4 star. The hotel has had its days of glory and now unfortunately it is now a "has been". Its sad to see such a decline in a hotel so quickly, the investors must be so disappointed.

No towels in the pool area, use your own or the one in the room, no drinking water in the fitness or lack of towels(small) to clean the equipment. If your partner from Vietnam( female) and you non-Vietnamese, your are not allowed to bring your partner with you in the same room. However non such information when you booked the room. The two hotel before no such rule.

Excellent hotel. Polite and helpful staff. Great variety of food for breakfast. We had a very good and reasonably priced meal at the hotel when we arrived at 21.45. Luggage stored for us at end of stay when we were doing an overnight tour. Very conveniently located for the airport. Good sized pool and small gym, only downside nowhere to change at gym and pool not attended.
