Amazing for a short stay in the city ”
The room was clean and well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed, including a private bathroom and air conditioning. The guesthouse was located in a convenient location, within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse and would definitely recommend it to others. The owner and her mother were excellent hosts, and we felt well taken care of during our stay.

Me & my wife absolutely loved our stay at Vy's place. Vy has been extremely extremely helpful throughout our stay! She helped us with food places, tours and anything & everything. If you want 200% authentic Vietnamese experience in Saigon then this is the place !!! Don't try & look for any other place in Saigon. -:) -:)

10/10!! Best hotel/guest house in Vietnam ”
This was my first time to Vietnam. I was very nervous about choosing a good place to stay. Vy’s guesthouse exceeded all my expectations. The owner Vy makes you feel like family and will help you organize trips, cold drinks on arrival, tea coffee. Vy also took me around Ho Chi Minh City to see the famous land marks and take photos of me at beautiful sights around town and take guests to the best local/authentic banh mi stalls. She also created a very helpful map of all the best destinations in the area. Vy has WhatsApp so you can always ask for assistance, change currency, book tours and always gives the best price. The guesthouse was incredibly clean, quiet and the bed was so comfortable!!! I was always so happy to see her and she is so good to guests If you come to Saigon/HCMC you must stay it. It will be the best decision you ever make!! 10/10 A+++++ 5 star!!! :) Sam - Australia

Exceptional and Highly Recommended”
I stayed here for about a month and it was truly wonderful! I would highly recommend this guesthouse to you. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and nice as possible. Vy and her family are very generous, invited me for some meals (their food is so good), showed me around, gave me fruit, and even invited me for some birthday cake from Vy's father's birthday. The rooms are a very nice size and very comfortable. There is even a safe box for your valuables and little fridge to use. Toothbrushes, soaps and shampoo in little packages were found on top of the fridge. The towels were so nice (they are the kind that dry really easy) She even has a curtain dividing the toilet and shower with the purpose of thinking of guests who may not be used to having water on the toilet after you shower. Since it was rainy season, there was always umbrellas to use. She left toilet paper by my room to make sure I always had enough. The place is so clean all the time. The cleaning lady is so kind as well, works so hard and very friendly. After she cleans it was so perfect! Vy has a laundry and airport service as well. Everything is so convenient! The airport return trip was also wonderful and so punctual. Their is a little restaurant that Vy recommended to me across from Funny Laundry that has amazing food. Its a local restaurant with local prices and the lady is so honest and kind. I went there sometimes 2x daily. Exceptional place with amazing hospitality and a love for people! Its within walking distance to so many nice places and quiet. Thank so much for the lovely stay and I hope I can come back again one day!

Fantastic budget option”
This is a small ( 6 room) family-run guest house with room that could be in a hotel at twice the price. The owner, Vy, is incredibly helpful and seems to enjoy helping guests with their endless questions and requests.

Lovely hostel in the thick of Saigon ”
We had such a great stay at Vy Khanh Guesthouse. Ms Vy was so welcoming and incredibly helpful and provided so many great recommendations on where to eat and sightsee. The rooms were incredibly clean and cozy. Highly recommend!

You will be welcomed very well. I never had such treatment anywhere I went until now. You will meet a very friendly family. The place is super clean, respect all safety rules with extinguisher everywhere. Welcome drink and pantoufles 🩰. I really appreciate this place who is very strategic if you want to visit Hcm. You will get a map of the city and acustomer service 5 stars you can not find anywhere else in the world.

This is a clean and welcoming guesthouse run by Vy and her family. They are very friendly and always willing to help, besides, Vy and her mother are pretty fluent in English. Bonus points: I was allowed to use a shower at no cost after I booked out.

Felt like staying in a family home with a perfect location and amazing price ”
We were welcomed everyday by Vy and her family. This place had a very intimate feel. Great sized room, aircon, own bathroom. Room was cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh towels. Location is in the centre of District 1. We are backpackers so loved being 3 mins away from Bui Vien st, but once in our room it was completely quiet. Vy also organises tours and provided us with local maps and recommendations. For the price, would definitely recommend! Thanks Vy!

Hard to Beat!”
We chose Vy Khan Guesthouse because of the overwhelmingly good reviews we read about the place. true enough we were not disappointed! its centrally located close to everything - food, attractions etc. What sets this guesthouse apart from others is what others have said, Vy's family makes you feel you are taken cared of in a place where you cant speak the local language. Had a good time talking to Vy's mom (she even wished when we visit next time we already have a new baby join our family trip haha), as well as enjoying the daily vietnamese coffee she gave us. Good Wifi, clean rooms, cold AC, plus the warm hospitality from Vy's family is hard to beat. Cons - really hard to find fault's at Vy's place if there is one at that price point. Would be easy to say that its a bit hard to find coz its inside an alley and might be intimidating for some, but it was never a problem for us. highly recommended!
