Overall our stay went well except for the mattress,got a big hole on our mattress, the lamp in our room not working, only one lamp works. We just entered the room for 5 minutes to put our luggage and went down to find food for lunch and after we came back, our sink in toilet was cloged as if someone just threw up their food. The floor in our room behind the bed quite dangerous because the tiles are cracked alrdy and might be dangerous to kids if not fix urgently. the locations very strategic as it located in city. Just go down and you are at the Market area alrdy. Near to mall and lots of foods!

Overall poor room quality. Not clean and dusty. The clean aircond filters are thickened.
I did not expect a bad room like this, because the rating is 'good'. I understand this is a budget hotel. Aspects of hygiene and comfort need to be prioritized. The receptionist's desk too messy. In general, if you have other options please go to that option. If there is no other option, here's where.

its worth money u paid”
i touched down quite late from KL, so i just need a place to sleep. fantastic location in front of local market. easily u can find your lunch and dinner.A bit noisy during night time coz location at the main road . I’ve been here few years back, after renovation they made marked room’s improvement. with that price im paying, this is more that what im expected. But please replace the pillow with new one.

UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT OFFICER”
I was late to make the extended payment (less than 24 hours) they suddenly cut my room electric supply..I was awake 100% wet on my bed...the room felt soooo hot and dark,I can't see anything... little did I know they were going to TREAT all the guest who late to pay the extended stay chrges (whatever your excuses) to them with this "NON-PROPER" and "RUDE" way..

Cleanliness is good. In front of philipine market and all souvenier stall.. so the hotel is really strategic for travel. Im just walk at there and just use the car too go to jesellton jetty or Kundasang.. overall in the hotel is satisfied.

In a business district, clean and peaceful area. easy for shopping, walking distance to a lot of places.
Stayed from 20 Nov - 23 Nov 2015, i like the hotel of it cleanness, no smell when the room is open. very friendly staffs. Easy access to shopping, in the heart of Kota Kinabalu business district. All walking distance.

If go as backpackers with friends/group, this is one of the suitable place. Not recommended for family or 'high-taste person' since this is only budget hotel. In front of Philippine Market. Easy access to everywhere. Behind the hotel got Night Market every night. We just walk to everywhere (include to Gaya Market and Jesselton Point. Only takes around 15-20 minutes to walk) and not using our car rental (save petrol). But, parking is a bit difficult to get as the hotel is in front of Philippine Market & the road is so busy at night. But, value for money for backpackers.

Location wise is very good but other than that.... you need to think twice if you intend to stay here for more than one night.... a bit noisy especially at night if your room is facing the alley due to the night market which runs daily.....Yes, it's cheap but 'what you pay is what you get' kind of hotel...

Worth the price. ”
Hotel right infront Filipino market, 5min walking distance to night market and Todak Waterfront from hotel. It cost only RM4 to Jesselton Point using Uber.
The facilities is good.
Its quite noisy at night since it's near to night market.
But, it worth the price lah.

Strategic location”
Location location location
We stayed there 1 night before and 2 nights after hiking kinabalu. The best part is the location of this hostel which is at the center of kota kinabalu. It was quite easier for us to move around from there. We walked to jetty jeseselton, pasar gaya, pasar malam kg air and of course daily visit to pasar filipina. They had a laundry service as well and we can get our clothes back in just 4 hours.

Awesome for Budget Traveller”
Combo Package, Shopping,Filipino Market across the road, Night market is just behind the hotel.
Very recommended hotel for Budget Travelers either couple or Family group.
This Hotel is very near with Filipino Market just across the street & Night Market is behind the hotel.Also not very far from Jesselton Point. Only problem is the Parking since there are no special parking for Hotel Guest.

Old hotel, not clean, bad smell inside the hotel, the room smelled weird,no towels,difficult to find parking, the rooms are small for 4 persons,noisy, and dust everywhere😥😥
Langsir bilik berbau, bilik berbau busuk macam xpernah cuci je langsir, saya just stay less than 16hours..check in around 5pm & check out 9 am..
