Lovely hotel, rooms a little small though”
The j4 is the daughter hotel to the Chaweng garden beach resort next to the beach with use of the sister hotels facilities. Check-in was very smooth and overall stay was excellent. A few minor quibbles, the pics paint the rooms as quite spacious but they are not however they are comfortable. Cleaning service was 5 star. Note to the owners the balcony needs a table really. Noise was very minimal given the proximity to the bars so very well insulated. Will be a repeat visitor to Chaweng but perhaps upgrade to one of the sister hotels rooms after seeing how lovely they look. Would recommend this hotel.

Great location”
Hotel has full use of facilities of the chaweng garden hotel next door which has 2 decent pools, small pool bar, massages, restaurant, and is on the beach. J4 is sat back from the beach just off main road. Rooms are clean, air on is good. Some noise if you are in bed early however it did not affect us. Bars and noise finishes at 2 and you can only just hear the music. Fridge in room and a veranda although there is just a wall and no view. But very happy with the price and location. Would certainly stay again . We had 2 rooms, travelling with 2 children age 8 and 12. There is a small gym facing which you can use for 80thb per day too.

Nice hotel”
This is a nice hotel in with a quiet environment. We booked only for 2 days at first to confirm that the room is good enough. Rooms are quite with big balcony (room with balcony) where you can dry your clothes, towels. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will stay again at this hotel upon visiting Ko Samui.

Good value for the price”
Very centrally located in Chaweng close to bars and restaurants, which is good and bad at the same time. It gets pretty loud at night with noise from nearby bars, but they offer ear plugs and I was able to sleep pretty well. No elevators so you have to carry your luggage up and down the wooden stairs. Minimalistic lobby and amenities, but clean and well maintained. There was a group of guests on my floor who were obnoxiously loud and disrespectful through the night, and hotel staff didn't do much to control them. Constant slamming of doors, yelling, whistling, and disgusting behaviour towards other guests and hotel staff should warrant either calling the police, or removing these guests from the property. Sad that front desk and security staff didn't take more severe action against these unruly guests.

Very Nice Resort”
Lots greenery and cosy resort style rooms wif nice swimming pools and walking distance to chaweng beach. Breakfast is good with lots varieties and staff are service oriented and friendly. Another + point is hotel comes with bike rental - for your easy touring round the island. Thumbs up!

Couldn’t fault the staff”
This hotel is part of chaweng garden resort hotel. You get too use the facilities of this hotel, which are fantastic all the staff from chaweng garden were fantastic as were the facilities and breakfast. I’ve never been to a hotel where all the staff are so pleased to help you . The only downside I can see to this hotel, were the rooms you could hear every sound the walls were like paper. And I would think you would hear everything from the streets when things are back up and running again.

Great location literally situated on the beach front. Central Department is about 5-10 mins walk. The room was nice and clean unfortunately it is bit small for a long stay - 7 nights. very friendly staff.

Very nice stay I central chaweng. You are in the main center. Everything is just steps away. J4 is actually a Aparthotel for Chaweng garden hotel. So you use their pool, their breakfast restaurant and so on. So it’s beachfront. But closer to the streets. So it’s Noisy. Your here the beats from the street bars. But you get also a lot of green space and a huge infinity pool towards the ocean! Unbelievable nice!

They have a hotel mixed with bungalows and also rooms. We had one of the rooms. It was a little bit too dark in my mind, we couldn’t see too much. They have a nice private beach and the drinks and food there is good. Also the breakfast was really nice, many different things to taste! You have everything nearby, restaurants, bars, nightclubs… totally recommend

The rooms of J4 are somewhat small but for budget oriented people you have the big advantage of being able to use the facility like pool, beach chairs and breakfast buffet from Chaweng Garden Beach Resort which is on an other level.

Depressed place ”
The place is clean but the why how they decorated the rooms and the view of the rooms are horrible the noisy sounds coming from everywhere since early morning and no elevator to get to the 2nd floor . I don’t know for me I didn’t enjoy my staying there i had to early check out and leave the island it self ,, the place might be good for others but for it gave me a negative energy to stay in samui ,,, sorry j4 ,, Ark bar wins million times

My booking got lost, waited for nearly 2 hours. Unfriendly staff, not willing to ensure the situation is clarified ASAP, waiting without any information, any service, drink or even just a sorry.

Not what I expected ”
Our room Window and balcony where to a construction side. Its also pretty loud in the room from outside. I expected something Else to be honest. The Location Might Be good for people who go out and party Not for a nice vacacation. The town is dead.
