シャワーの具合はあまり良くなく朝食も4種洗濯。部屋のバスローブもちょい湿っぽかった。 が！！！スタッフは臨機応変、レストランのアラカルトは安くうまく、海沿いで気持ち良く、とにかく安い！値段が安すぎるくらい！タクシーの手配も早く、かなり頑張ってる。高級だらけのサムイで小さな高級を味あわせてくれる愛らしいリゾートです。

静かな環境でのんびり”

西側に位置していて非常に静かなところでした。 賑やかな場所は避けたかったので思い通りに過ごすことができました。

Lovely bungalows on the beach”

2nd stay at this 'resort' and will stay again. Lovely staff and peace and quiet on the beach. No public transport, so you have to book ahead to go anywhere. Excellent Five Islands Restaurant and bar down the beach.

Private beach”

This hotel is for those that want to get away from it all. The hotel is far from anything, but everything is right there! If you want peace and quiet and privacy, this is the place at an affordable price! We were pleasantly surprised and extended our stay. They serve a large tasteful breakfast -included. The pool and beach are clean and we were surprised at the good strength of the wifi signal - as long as half the members were asleep :)

waterfront nice view”

I enjoyed fine sunset and nice taste in the restaurant. But noise of construction (next to the hotel is constructing) was disapointed a little. And for shopping and sightseeing the location is far from city and inconvenient.

Lovely place but food too expensive.”

Nice location, nice garden, nice room (but bed not good, and AC very old have water driping most all the time), lovely stuff, lovely beach but can not swim in the sea, food at restaurant too expensive and not really good test.

Quiet beach away from the touristy areas in Samui”

Ideal for a peaceful and quiet Holiday at a beautiful private beach. The Resort is quite far off the main touristic Areas so if you're looking for Party it's not the place for you. There are other local Restaurants and Resorts Close by if you wish to eat somewhere else. The staff is nice and helpful, Bungalows are clean but the cheaper ones are a bit small. Great pool to relax and the beach is beautiful especially to watch the sunset.

Very pleasant stay”

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Am Samui Resort very much. Our room and the bathroom was big, clean and well decorated. The view on the beach is nice and the food is good. I totally recomend this hotel for his affordable price and the quality of the accomodation.

Great for a break but restaurant a little pricey”

Great litte resort with private beach. Quite chilled but quite a few young families so some kids around. Not much around the area if you don't have transport but there's a small shop and a good local restaurant just outside the gate. A walk diwn the long beach gets you to some other places and there's an amazing bar (Air Bar) in the Intercon next door. The Am Samui beach bar and happy hour pretty good though with that amazing sunset! Recomended!!!!

AM Samui Resort - Taling Gnam, Koh Samui ”

Excellent value for money because we got two bungalows for 3 nights, Tues to Thurs, for a total of €165. Think it was a special offer because I was quoted €166 for one extra night. Great sunset views but with weather we only saw one sunset. Restaurant was good and reasonable value but I heard reports from other travellers of better quality restaurants nearby. Manager was really nice, friendly and very helpful but did not get that sense of iconic Thai friendliness from rest of staff. This is a perfect place if you want a base for touring different attractions around Koh Samui or if you want to lounge in the sun, swim in the pool or sea, do some water sports, but don't expect nightlife - it is very quiet at night with zero entertainment. The bungalows were very nice, great size and clean - I felt bedlinen was not the crisp clean white I would expect to see in a quality resort like this, but that is a very minor gripe. All in all I found this a great place to stay but personally I found it boring at night. My friend stayed in the second bungalow we rented and we were disappointed when the bar closed at 11.30pm and we were refused a drink to bring back to our bungalows. If you are with a gang of people or if you are a romantic couple and can make your own entertainment at night then this is a paradise.

Paradise”

It is and was gorgeous. And the staff was so great. Even the manager is so cool. Every day he would come and make a small talk with you, helped with his staff or helped you. We stayed there for five nights, the first two nights we had the beach house, a really romantic and clean glassed house. But after two nights we where just done with the view, and wanted a downgrade in the same resort, a fine wooden smaller cabinet with resort view. We had everything arranged and we would move the next morning, at breakfast the manager came to us telling us to stay in the glass house for the downgraded prise. Who would have said no?? You would think the resort is on the wrong side of the island, but you just rent a scooter and within 20 min. you are at the other side of the island. Also we met 2 locals and they told us they would come to this exact place to enjoy there free day instead of the other side which is packed with tourists.

Beautiful sunset, stony beach”

We had a very good time at Am Samui Hotel. Our children enjoyed the pool. The entrance in the sea is unfortunately very stoney. Staff and Location great. You Need some Transport to get to any other place.

Can't wait to go back!”

We loved our time at Am Samui! Nothing beats stepping out onto the beach with an amazing view of the ocean in front of you. The staff were great and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Lunch and dinner is made to order and we're all delicious.

the best place to watch sunset”

the resort is far away from the town but it is a good place to relax. We was surprised by the amazing sunset by the beach. It is definitely the best place to watch sunset with your loved one. The dinner by the beach was nice. The staff are helpful and nice. They prepared a simple breakfast for us to take away when we checked out in the early morning to jetty. We enjoyed our last night stay in Koh Samui with Am Samui Resort.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was wonderful in most every way! Pros: away from tourism; quiet; quaint; calm ocean; gorgeous sunsets; friendly staff; very helpful management; close to waterfalls Cons: beautiful beach other than at low tide. Can't swim at low tide.

Amazing accomodation but far from everything”

The resort is very clean, the staff is kind and helpful and polite. The place is amazing with wonderful beach, good kitchen but it is far from everything. However, you can rent a scooter for a very budget price to reach the other points of the island. It is perfect for a family or couples, and if you want only o lie on the beach, however for solo travellers, not the best choice.

A true paradise”

we really, really loved our 6 day stay at Am Samui. We booked for 2 days, but stayed 6. Even while the weather was not so good. But the kind staff, the lovely bungalow with porch on the beach and the easygoing atmosphere made our stay wonderful. Leo is a very good host and helps with everything possible. When we return to Koh Samui we will definitely return to Am Samui Resort!

Awesome Resort”

We had a lovely time at the resort, the way the staff treated us was fantastic and they should all be commended. We were there for a wedding and on the day the staff created a beautiful environment and were helpful throughout our stay. Will recommend to all our friends to stay or visit.:) Bathrooms need a little updating, overall rooms were lovely.

Very affordable hotel right by the beach”

We stayed there for three nights and found the rooms to be super clean. We reserved a room with a garden view.....the only downside to these rooms are the bathrooms have river stones layers on the floor with flat tree stumps as walkways. Additionally on of the rooms has bathrooms exposed to the open air ( only roof opened), so that might put some people off.

Very relaxing and chilled atmosphere”

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young children (aged 4 and 6 months) for one week. There was hardly anyone staying so it felt like we were on our own private beach! We needed an affordable place as we are travelling for 3 months with young children but didn't want to compromise on being near the beach, being comfortable and delicious food. Am Samui is definitely underrated. We arrived at the hotel and the room we had booked was going to be too small so they upgraded us to a beach bungalow right on the beach. We did have to pay a small amount but it was much cheaper than the advertised price. The food was delicious (a little bit more expensive than we would have liked) but it seems consistent with 3-4 star hotel priced food. The staff were friendly, particularly the manager who would often come and have a chat to us. It's also great for children as there is a swing, see-saw and some ride on toys. The only negative things I would say was that we seemed to have quiet a few ants in our room, particularly on our bed at times. Behind the bed also looked like it needed a good vacuum as there was a fair bit of dust and dirt. Overall, the room was clean and the cleaning staff were very attentive and had our room cleaned by the time we returned from breakfast each morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
