プールはとても広く、良く手入れされている。眺めがいい。朝食がおいしい。敷地がかなり広大で開放的である。以上はとても良かった。一方、スタッフのサービス精神はあまり感じなかった。あと、部屋が写真とちょっと違い、若干老朽化していたし狭かった。家族で行ったが、日本のカップル向けペンションのようなつくりであったのでカップルや子供向連れむけのホテルだった。４つ星は適切ではないと思う。過度に期待をし過ぎたが、プールがあるのでそれなりに満足している。

街中の喧騒から離れて静かに過ごせるかわいいホテル”

静かなところで心穏やかにすごしたかったので、敢えて街中から少し離れたこちらを利用しました。 バスステーションからは3～4kmでしょうか、歩くのは少しつらいと思います。 私は、到着後すぐに駅前でバイクを借りました。こちらのホテルには無料のレンタル自転車がありますが、パイの周辺は坂道が多いので、バイクか車がないと不便だと思います。また、ホテルの周辺にはレストラン等がありませんから、食事の時には町へ出る必要があります。 部屋は広くて清潔です。 エアコン、シャワーなど、設備にも何の不具合もなく快適に利用できました。 ロビーもかわいいです。 全体的にとてもよく掃除が行き届いていて、気持ちがいいです。 時間がなかったので、プールを利用できませんでしたが、広くて気持ち良さそうでした。 残念なのは、スタッフに英語ができる人が少ないこと、朝食のビュッフェの品数が少ないことです。

Lovely place, like to come back”

The location and view is perfect. Every morning we had a perfect view on the mountain and white Buddha. We had our own car so did not use the taxi service to the center of Pai. By car its less then five minutes. Some people gave bad recommendations because of local children using the pool (they have to pay). But we liked the locals Being there. And it weren’t much. Our children liked to play with them. Also I don’t recognize negatieve recommadation about the look of the resort. We loved the colours, the candy statues and Mills (but we are from the land of the mills ;-) ). Shortly - positive recommadation.

Made our trip in Pai”

For what we paid (£13/person) this hotel is on another level! I wanted to change the dates for our trip as me and my girlfriend wanted to see chiang Mai before Pai and the staff were more than helpful! I was especially surprised by this as I have a thick Glaswegian accent! 😂 the facilities are great, the room is like something a 5 star hotel would have and the views are beyond description! This is a must if you’re visiting Pai!

Unique and fun hotel”

Beautiful entrance and gardens. Huge pool, friendly staff and big clean rooms. The Oreo brownies at the cafe at the main gate are to die for. A couple of suggestions to make this hotel absolutely perfect; the free taxi times aren’t very convenient - the restaurant should also open later than 7pm. Would highly recommend otherwise. Great hotel!

Lovely unique hotel ”

We really enjoyed our stay here and even booked another day. The rooms were really clean and comfy. The pool was great and the staff were excellent. The lady at reception even dropped us off at the bus station in her own car as the driver was not available that early. The only negative was that our bins weren't emptied in 3 days, but really not that much of a problem. The Pad Thai was delicious and made with vegetables that are grown on the grounds of the hotel. At the evening it was very pretty. Great price and a treat for us backpackers!

Amazing”

We ended up staying for our last week in Thailand here after travelling round, the place is amazing. Staff are amazing and so helpful. Free water, ice and coffee 24/7. Rooms are cleaned upon request, free water and toilet roll every day. A nice pool 5'5" deep with a more shallow section. It's out of town but you can get a free taxi till 10pm. Food was really good and fair priced, the rooms are spotless and the setup is beautiful. The perfect treat for any budget.

New lovely property. On the edge of town which makes it more quiet and lots of garden space. They will drive u into town too. Really big nice pool. Stayed in cutie room which was really nice. Would go back again. Make sure u go to pai market in the evening

Extremely unhappy during my stay”

I booked this accommodation as I wanted some time to relax by myself and stay by the pool and read my book as it was extremely hot in May. During the times I was there, it was raining heavily which cause there to be no power for the entire day. I understand it's not their fault but they didn't even try to ensure their guests were okay or required anything. I had to stumble in the dark and in the rain to ask if I could take 1 of those electric candles to my room as I was just sitting in the dark. I couldn't shower so I was unable to meet my friend for dinner. Eventually, I got so hungry I asked if they could take me to town just to order a takeaway and come back. They said I would have to wait until 9 pm to have the shuttle service pick me up. This was completely Ludacris as that would've been me waiting for 2 hours. Instead, they dropped me to 7/11 to get something to eat. The power finally returned after 9 pm.

This is truly a beautiful hotel. The grounds include wonderful and huge gardens, a clean and well-maintained olympic sized pool, and lots of green space. My room was very big, beautifully furnished, and meticulously maintained. The hot water, water pressure, and wifi were all plentiful. The desk staff is knowledgeable and charming. The only negative is that it is a bit further from town than I would have liked... 2km. But they have a free taxi service to and from. I usually took the taxi to town and walked home. An easy, though not particularly interesting, walk.

Nice play to stay. Baan Kungkang literally means "Candy Land" so dont be suprised when you see a bunch of candy canes and gumdrop cut outs. overall very nice stay except there was only luke warm water in the bathroom for showers. worth the stay for the price. nice spacious rooms and a huge outdoor pool. about a 5 minutes drive into the main town, a bit further than we expected but it wasnt that far. very clean, comfortable beds. highly recommend the stay

I enjoyed my stay there. It would be perfect for small families who want to stay out of town. They were very accommodating about picking me up in town and dropping me off in town as I needed. The breakfast was modest but quite adequate. The cutesy theme was unique and less gaudy than I expected. It's a great little resort, but don't expect the Hilton. I can see how some reviewers might not like it, but they probably didn't look at pictures of the place carefully before booking. I recommend everyone do as much research as they can before travelling anywhere.

Hotel building and decoration is very cute and good for a rest. It is a very good view in the morning. Room facilities in room are complete. The room is not too small. Bed room is comfortable but it have sound when moving.

3 days of relaxation.”

After half a month of backpacking from Bangkok to the northern of Thailand, we finally went to Pai for relaxation. The Pai itself has not many staff to do but you could enjoy many interesting sightseeing tour around Pai. Be sure that you could ride motorbike before you come.

a place to remember”

what a great place. slice of heaven. beautiful view. peaceful retreat out of town but only 15 mins walk from the action.not that you have to walk as they operate a free shuttle into town. the swimming view is superb, the staff are lovely but their english isnt great so tell them what you want for breakfast (bacon and egg) or you could end up with a tuna sandwich and spaghetti. the rooms are exactly how they look in the brochure and great value for money.this is a much better option than staying in town. however if youre out late in the town ask the manager to pick you up as the dogs howling might frighten you on the walk back.the manager will always pick you up if you give him a time and place. great choice.....

Good place to stay in Pai for a few nights! A little outside of the town center, but not really an issue since a motorbike is basically a requirement for Pai anyway.
