Clean hostel, clean room and bed. But if you want to stay A few days BOOK all Youre nights. Because if you BOOK 1 Night and wil stay longer they change every Day the prices. And iT wil more expensive every Day.
The place is a bit smelly, especially when you go downstair from the common space to enter the dorm. They do have basic facilities but they're not so well organized. The bed and bathroom are clean enough though. It's not too far from the MRT, about 400m walk. Everything is just so so, not so bad but not so good.
One of the best hostel i have stayed in Singapore. Justine the caretaker in the day is very supportive and charming. Uncle Allen Comes in late night at the reception. he is very interesting old man who wears two watches . There is old and very interesting story behind his watches. to know that stay there an wait for him to come late night and tell the story. The is 20 bed pod room downstairs which is very comfortable also there are 6 bed and 8 bed drom upstairs which are nice.
Cozy and lovely hostel”
The Lavender MRT station is walking distance to the hostel but in case of rainy days, you'll get drenched. There's a nice hawker center nearby too. However there is no money changer nearby the hostel. The nearest money changer is at Little India (which is also in walking distance, around 10-15 minutes) The toilets are clean and sufficient. The beds are clean and simple but good enough for a night sleep. Blankets are long enough for girls of average height but then again the rooms are not that cold at night. (It is Singapore anyway) There're pretty huge lockers available in the room and it's huge enough to put your backpacks. Breakfast served is simple bread and cereal. Instant coffee and tea are served too. Good enough for a simple breakfast. The receptionists are really helpful and gave good tips to travel
Desmond was very helpful, he helps to rearrange the room after I feedback to him. Me and my friends very happy with our staying room.
Would Not Stay Again ”
Dead/ alive cockroaches everywhere, dirty bathrooms, receptionist ignored me when I tried to check in and I had to chase him around to talk to him, I like firm beds but these were so hard I woke up multiples times hurting and had to change positions, bed sheets had bugs and LOTS of gross and unidentifiable stains, then when I tried to check out the guy asked me (and I’m not exaggerating) 8 times for my name and bed number and I finally had to get a piece of paper and write it out for him. Unless you REALLY can’t afford the extra 1-2$ for a better place, don’t stay here.
Good clean place close to Lavander MRT”
The Little Red Dot Hostel is a decent place with reasonable prizes and situated near Lavander MRT so its pretty easy go from place to place. The shared washrooms are extremely clean and the hostel staff is very helpful and welcoming. The hostel atmosphere is very good with a spacious out door area to eat and relax.
Value for money. Good location. Clean toilets and shower rooms. Staffs are good help. Need to improve facilities like changing rooms for men as they are entering the sides of the ladies dormitory. Ove”
Value for money. Good location. Clean toilets and shower rooms. Staffs are good help. Need to improve facilities like changing rooms for men as they are entering the sides of the ladies dormitory. Over all- good value for money and get what you paid for.
Freash hostel with super friendly staff. Good air con. and wifi. Although loud music from the common room eary in the morning and late during the evenings. Couldn't cancel within 14 days since everything was already paid for.
Staff are very helpful and make staying in Singapore very easy. The rooms are OK but small. Also spent a night in a pod which was OK but wouldn't stay long term. The room is very dark and little room for bags. Also the lounge area plays music until past 12 which would be fine but the walls are very thin. Breakfast is good toast and hit drinks. And the lounge area is open and lovely to relax in.
Good value, nice people and clean”
The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of space to hang out and rest after a long day in the city. The rooms were air conditioned to perfection and they were clean. The upstairs restrooms and showers were very clean. The dorm room upstairs was a little loud from traffic noise--the downstairs dorms were much less noisy. The beds were comfortable. I would stay here again and recommend it to someone looking for a good place to stay on a budget.
before check in i heard other guess complain about bed bugs, so i ask the manager not to put me in the same room, turns out they check me in into that room. then i have the same problem, after just 4 hours sleep i found that i got bitten a lot at foot and waist. beside this bugs it's actually a good hostel.
Great for backpackers”
Good vibe at the place, staff friendly & helpful give you lots of information & organise trips of needed. Free breakfast in the mornings, lovely rooftop space & wifi works great throughout. Location is a bit out of the way but train station is only 5monute walk & really cheap to use.
Pay for what u get”
not strictly an 8roomed dorm.... sleeping compartments were divided by a curtain..... so it seemed one room had more like14 capsule rooms. plenty of stairs to negotiate with heavy bags... some on outside fire escapes which were rather sloppy. i had to ask for an electronic key card, and locker key.... which was not secure... and pay a dollar deposit. no where to store ruck sacks or large bags... so they dumped in room wherever a space... usually in corridor..... which made it awkward to move about and leave in the morning... negotiating a ruck suck obstacle course. toilets and shower block were adequate.
