普通のホテル”

事前に口コミ情報をみて余り期待はしていなかったのでまぁ～そんなもんかなと思いました。空港から車で１５分程度の距離にあるが表の道路から受け付けまで歩くのは少しキツイ！部屋は受付らかさらに離れているし、メインの道路から部屋まで２００～３００M位の坂も高めだし、夜道も暗めですので懐中電灯持参をお勧めします。メイン道路にはレストラン、マッサージ店、コンビニなどがあるので食事にはあまり困る事はないです。今回の部屋はプライベートプール付き（プールと言うより大きめのお風呂かなぁ～＾０＾）でいつでも入れるが近くのビーチは岩が多いので泳げない。アメニティ類も少なめ、スリッパは使い捨てのタイプなのに再利用している。しかも洗った形跡はない。泊りのお客様が少ないからか分からないが朝食の種類も少ない！ また機会があれば泊まりたいと言いたいところだが別の所にした方が良いかも知れない。

大好きなホテル”

チョンモンビーチの端にあり、部屋からの海景色が最高で大好きなホテルです。 2年前に泊まった時より修復されスタッフのみなさんがすごく努力していると感じました。 フロントのオーエンさんピーターさんの笑顔の応対がよかったし、レストランスタッフもよかったし、チェックアウト時のスッタフ、空港に送ってくれたスタッフ、お掃除スタッフ、メンテナンススタッフALL気持ちがよかったです。 私はバイヨークの朝食のスープライスが大好きです。トッピングでジンジャーがあるとよかった。（以前はありました。） 蚊が多かったです。部屋の外にあるブラウンの壺に蚊が湧いてくるのでなくしてほしいです。 また行きます。ありがとうございました。

夏休みに3泊で利用しました。初日のホテル到着は12:50頃でしたがチェックインさせてくれました。部屋は二階建ての2ベッドルームにダイニングやキッチンや3部屋共同のプールまで付いていて、とても豪華でしたが、建物の老朽化が凄まじく、カビ、虫、破損だらけでまったく落ち着けませんでした。 ロケーションが高台のため、簡単に街に出ることもままならず、夕食にホテルのレストランを利用しましたが、これがまた悲惨。まずクーラー無しの全面オープンのため、食事中はずっと蚊と戦いながらで結果12箇所も刺される羽目に。ウエイターはまったく英語が話せず、ケチャップやビネガーも通じない。そもそも夕飯に客が来る想定をしていないのか、オーダーがことごとくないと言われ、飲み物のコーラまでない始末。もう家族みんな呆れて笑うしかありませんでした。が味はそこそこ美味しく、2日目はルームサービスにしましたが、ツナサンドはリピートしてしまいました。ただ部屋に料理を運ぶ際もドアをずっと開けっ放しにしてくれて、蚊やらハエやら入りまくりでしたが。 朝食も毎日全く同じメニューで客は毎日私達家族しかおらず、家族四人に店員四人のフルサービス。加えてフルオープンの食堂故に、ハエの大群と共に食事をする事に。 食後にホテル内の探索を試みるも、敷地内の建物の半分以上が廃墟化しており、入り口には昔のホテル名を冠した立派な看板まで残ってました。 だけど店員の方は概して親切で優しく振舞ってくれていました。 とにかくホテルから海を一望できるし敷地も広い。もっと改善すれば必ず良くなると思うのですが全てが残念な感想しか残りませんでした。 またサムイに来たら利用するかと言えば、もう結構です。リピートは致しません。

Amazing spot”

Really beautifully place and very kind staff. Amazing spot on top of a small mountain with amazing view to the sea. Quite, yet not so far from everything you need. I will suggest the rooms to be more clean and it's really heaven.

Visited baiyoke for my honeymoon in Koh Samui I would say the place was beyond our expectations had booked a 1bhk villa with private swimming pool. The service was outstanding and the staff was very very helpful at every stage of out stay for each and everything.

Run-down 4 Star in my mind is NOT 4 star”

Basic comfort needs were met, but it does NOT deserve a 4 star rating. Furniture and villa fixtures are old and nearly worn out. Villa’s private pool is missing tiles. Privacy walls around the villa and other resort walls are covered in typical black mold from the years of rain. Paint is chipping off of all the buildings. The breakfast consisted of the cheapest ingredients possible. I’ve seen better breakfast buffets at 2 star facilities. Upon arrival we immediately shortened our stay to a one night stay. Don’t fall for the false advertising on Agoda.

Tired and really dated but the price does reflect this”

I'll start with location, its about a half mile walk from the main area to the resort, mostly up hill and on dirt tracks which in the rain are almost impassable. Now you can look at this in 2 ways, is it far of the beaten track and a nightmare to get to or is it a romantically set hidden hideaway, you decide? So to the main story, we booked a 1 bed pool villa for our stay and was shown to what appeared to be a really nice villa, we unpacked and got in the pool for an hour or so thinking, we've done really well here however when we got out to sunbath we quickly realised that there really wasn't enough room for the loungers on the deck, so we started to move things around to accommodate ourselves, that's when we noticed just how rotten the wooden decking was, I was sure that it would give way any minute, however we had to grab everything at this point and head inside as it started to rain. We then found that some of the electrical outlets didn't work, the aircon was just a noisy, very weak fan with no cooling, water was coming up through holes in the bathroom floor and the whole place stank of sewage. I insisted that the manager come, which he did and arranged to move us and upgrade us to a 2 bed villa, most unexpected but welcomed, this was a vast improvement however the deck was also rotten in places. In essence, this resort needs vast amounts of maintenance and possibly renovation however, then the room rates would surely be higher, whilst I could not say this is a particularly clean and beautifully presented resort, for the price, its a steal.

Amazing stay but rather costly ”

We only booked for 2 days but ended up staying 2 more. The views are truely amazing the people at reception was really helpful and friendly. The overall experience was great but the cost per room and Resturant needs to drop drastically if they want to outlast the competition.

On it's own”

A comfortable hotel in a slightly out of the way location. If you don't want to be in a line up of hotels on a main street this one is for you. Still walkable to the main drag but not as claustrophobic. Clearly of it's time and could do with better maintenance (tiles off the rooves and bits of wrotten timber that need replacing, get some of the many gardeners onto it) but then for the price we were not complaining. It is peaceful with it's own beach access, few guests and little atmosphere but if you don't want to be part of the crowd then fine

Run down and poorly managed”

This hotel is very run down and not fully operational. Only one pool is available not the advertised two, breakfast is not a buffet and the selection consists of basic items like bread, fruit and eggs. Over half of the resort is roped off and unmaintained. The in-house restaurant has a large menu but 75% of the items we ordered were not available. The pool bar is not active and lies empty. The fitness center consists of 2 broken stationary bikes and some rusting dumbbells together with aircon that did not work. While we were there another guest fell through the wooden decking by the pool. I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel went old and dirty”

To be fair we will mention positive and negative aspects: + we got an upgrade after our room was totally dirty and not at all nice, second cottage was nice, had a pool but was still old + free shuttle to Chaweng beach + very friendly drivers! +big pool - maybe 10 years ago it was a beautiful resort, now the furniture is old and used - rooms are totally dirty, spots on the bed and towels!!! - the breakfast room ist very old, nobody takes care of it, seems dirty too - nobody takes care of the hotel at all, it seems they wait for the end to come - mangagers are unfriendly - breakfast is ok - no beach, you have to walk down the street to reach the next bay, 15 minutes walk - no 4 stars worth even not 3! Old hotel without love

In need of TLC +++”

The place was quite run down, with a large proportion of the resort uninhabitable. There was very few people staying so many facilities were unavailable. Our room was clean and tidy but woodwork was rotting on the balcony, making it a safety issue. The staff were very attentive and helpful, but many couldn't speak English and had to go and find the one or two staff who could.

Great place, 15+ years in disrepair”

This could be a truly nice resort if they would spend the money to renovate and repair the place. As it is, the place is falling apart.
