My new go to resort for overnight stays”
What’s great about Camp Holiday is that it has everything you’d want in a resort. There’s a pool, restaurant, access to the ocean, clean rooms, aircon, balcony in the room... none of it is particularly amazing but it’s all standard and that’s a good thing given the price. I would say the quality is as good as many resorts that charge double for their rooms. Oh, and the location is fantastic. You can take the public barge to get to Samal and then walk right in. No need for a tricycle or habal2. And the barge operates 24 hours. So due to the ease of access, price, and quality I would say this is my new default resort for visits to Samal if I want overnight or a swim in the ocean in a cleaner atmosphere than a public area. For day tours I’d still prefer one of the resorts that has more activities to offer if going in a large group.

Well if you want to enjoy your stay in Samal go and get a room here in Camp Holiday preferably Deluxe. Water is good ! (pool, beach and for bath 😆) Good food. Affordable. We loved the pizza... Customer service is the best... you cant ask for help anytime. Ice cream are really cheap. My youngest daughter always get one every mral You can grill for lunch and dinner and eatin the resto they still loves to serve. We grilled Some meat at seafoods then just ordered Sinigang na baboy (superb) and rice they let us eat them in their resto. It is actually our family's second time staying here at Camp Holiday and we really enjoyed esp the the infinity swimming pool My daughter even told You look for other resorts to book but in the end it will still be Camp Holiday.... Yehey!

My Nephew Had A Lot Of Fun!”
The rooms are spacious and really clean. My nephew enjoyed the kiddie pool, beach and playground the most! There's an infinity pool which is exclusive to checked-in guests, a bit more of cleaning would make it even spectacular. The place is right next to the port but it wasn't a problem really. And oh, the beach front is not that big but you can still enjoy it especially during weekdays as there's not as much guests as there is during the weekends.

Pros - The resort is very accessible via commute. It is not too pricey compared to other resorts in the vicinity. Beach has white sand, clear water and stone walls from outside near the pier to prevent garbage from the outside. It's not too loud even though it was located near the port. Food is reasonably priced. The environment is family friendly. Cons - Beach front is small. We booked through Agoda and requested for a twin bed and extra bed since we are 4 persons. However, they took us til the evening before it was setup. We followed up for numerous times.

this is my 7x staying here, super comfortable, big room, big bed, clean toilet, clean room. the only downside is no wifi .... and also u have to use ur mobile phone to call room service & front desk.. the rest are awesome

The area is very accessible because it is walking distance from the port, they have restaurant inside but you have to inform them to serve the food after cooked..because they tend to wait until all of your order are finished before serving, thus some of the food will be cold already

Accessible and Safe”
I always like it here when I got events during pandemic it refunded right away in FULL ...though need some improvements like (toiletry kits (house keeping only got soap) atleast there is shampoo, lotion , toothbrush and small toothpaste like other hotels the very basic not all carry those stuffs or make it available at the shop ) also need some TIP BOX at the restaurant so the employees can share at the end of the month or year😊😊😊 Until next time .

good amenities”
I booked two nights for my cousin and her daughter as well as for my parents. They arrived earlier than the check in time. They were asked to be seated in the cottages facing the beach. There were many people since it was Easter holiday. And when they were about to check in, they were placed in 2 separate cottages and my cousin complained because they cannot be placed far from each other since she have 2 small kids and my parents are all senior. Luckily, they were moved to the main building wherein they were given two adjacent rooms. My parents were satisfied with their stay as the noise due to parties were shut down earlier. My cousin was satisfied with the amenities suited for her two small daughters - the playground, the pool and the beach. I am thinking of visiting this beach resort when I visit Davao City. By the way, they were given priority in the line for boarding the barge when they went home. That is a plus privilege for staying at the Resort.

Nice beach resort”
Very convenient location as very near to port.nice and friendly staff especially those in restaurants and receptions. I love the place , has a lot of recreatio nal activity that children would love to.the pool is good facing the beach line.only little disadvantage was the location is just right beside the port can smell the barge oil smell.but overall is excellent.
