ロケーションは良いけれど古くて変な臭いがしました”
ファミリールーム（キングベッド＋シングル）をお願いしたのですが、角部屋で、家具の配置もおかしな感じで（部屋の変な所に使えない棚があったり、ベッドのすぐ横に使っていない扉があったり）、病院のような臭いのするあまり快適な部屋とは言えませんでした。キングベッドも、シングルが２つ繋げてあるもので、真ん中が固く、子供との添い寝が難しかったです。 ホテルの内装は昭和の日本温泉ホテルと言った感じでした・・・。

少し遠くてやや古いが、値段から考えると良いホテル”
部屋が空いていたからかもしれないが、けっこう広めの部屋で居心地良かった。キングサイズベッド１つと、シングルベッド１つ。やや古いのと、シティ中心部から歩くと30分弱かかる（バスに乗ればあっという間だが）のが難点だが、値段が安いので総合的にはとても良いのではないかと思う。浅めだがバスタブも付いていた。

Great place to stay when in Canberra”
We stayed in a family room. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Beds were so good. Slept like a log. There was a big lap pool and gym available. The breakfast included was delicious, a full range of hot and cold selections. Reception were very helpful.. And this hotel is very conveniently located in Canberra Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely and will return. Thanks to everyone at the Rex

Everything you could need”
Great staff, friendly, helpful and efficient. Went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Great lap pool (good for walking) and gym attached. Rooms had plenty of space to lay your bags out and not trip over them. Very comfortable beds and good pillows. Quiet area. Close to main restaurant strip with plenty of food variety.

Good value and excellent service”
The rooms have been renovated recently so they are clean and very comfortable. I love the heated pool that can be enjoyed all year round. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offers variety (and those chocolate muffins are to die for). The new roof top bar is a nice addition to the place.

Comfortable, clean and posh room”
I stayed at Room 411 (King suite). Very quiet and serene room at the one corner of the building. The mattress was so comfortable. There was a king bed and a concealed wall bed. The room looks posh- very European look. The bathroom was big and beautiful. Only thing is the shower screen glass looked flimsy and there was no hooks near the shower well to hang the bath towels. There was also a powder room at the living area. Disadvantage is that there were only 3 hangars in the room! Had to ask for more. The location was a little way out, about 8 min walk to Lonsdale Street where is a lot of food. It is walkable if there is no rain. Also the bar on the 5th floor is lovely to watch the sunset. Finally the breakfast was good although I wish that they could change the menu and not have the same food on consecutive days. Overall it is a good hotel to stay in and the price is reasonable. I would stay here again if I visit Canberra again in future.

Excellent”
We stayed 2 nights in a King Suite and it was perfect for us (couple + 13 year old son). Super comfortable beds, staff were friendly and amazing, room was very clean and comfortable.. Breakfast buffet was great too! Will stay again when next in Canberra!

Great Value City Location”
Room was excellent , comfortable bed , great water pressure in the shower , enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast & free parking was another bonus .I would stay at The Rex Canberra again & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other travellers

最高!”
We had stayed at the Rex many years ago and we’re very impressed then. Because we live in Bowral we usually have driven down for the day since. We’re getting older and decided this time we would stay a couple of nights. We were impressed at how the Hotel was updated and the proximity to the light rail. Most enjoyable stay. The main criticism was that we only had one chair in our room.

Clean and comfortable ”
Couldn’t fault the stay. Checkin and checkout was efficient. Only issue was I rang twice before we arrived to ask a question and there was no answer. Wasn’t a big deal in the end, but that’s the only thing I can fault them on.

Nice hotel but not much parking”
Nice clean hotel. We booked a sauna room but got a steam room instead. Room itself was very large. There isnt enough parking though so you may need to find street parking at the back streets

Brilliant ”
Recently stayed over night for an athletics carnival! Close to food, rooms and breakfast were Amazing, teenagers loved the pool and gym and roof top bar was just the legacy way to end the day! Staff were really lovely! Will book every time I’m in Canberra

Immaculate and central location”
Pros - immaculately clean, comfortable bed, air-con, extensive range of toiletries including razor, vanity kit, shower cap in addition to the usual shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap and lotion. Location of only 10mins walk from Lonsdale eating district is another bonus. There’s plenty of power sockets and a full sized mirror which is perfect for a short stay. Main con for me is the small traveller-size hair dryer which isn’t as powerful and takes a fair bit longer to dry your hair. Other than that, loved it!

First time staying at Rex in Canberra, will definitely go back if we visit Canberra in the future. Comfortable, clean and roomy. The only difficult part is limited parking.

The only thing I thought would be good is that when we order Coffee at breakfast which was part of our package that we weren’t charged $5 for each cup.
