Very Good Hotel but not good location”
Hotel - perfect , for this price , more than perfect , clean and shiny , nice view ! .... just the location is for people which have appointment nearby, or are going to tours but not by themselves alone somewhere.
Nice big hotel”
Rooms where clean , modern and spacious. Hotel lobby is massive loads of room for us traveling with a young family. Swimming pool is beautiful and you have it all to yourselves. Lots of shops , restaurants nearby ,easy to drive or taxi to many of the beaches nearby. Breakfast is a buffet, English breakfast or Thai. Only down point is it has coachloads of Chinese staying there . Lift is a problem when they come back from excursions. Same at breakfast time . We were told to get down after 8 am when they have all finished eating. All in all the hotel is well worth the money and we'll managed.
Pool was great. No one was using it, so that was terrific. However, this is a group hotel (at least 12+ busses the night we were there), coming and going from 6am until midnight...and they are not quiet about it. Breakfast buffet was terrific if you go down early, but by 8am they have scaled it back with less food and most things are cold and the maker of the eggs was pretty grumpy. If you just want to get there late and leave early, good and fairly clean. Staff was nice.
Far too expensive ,and was noisy due to the work being done on the floor they put us on , they charged me 500 Bht a night more to put me in the room I had asked for to begin with , won't be going there again for sure
They charge 75 bath for 1 child for breakfast but they don’t have a child breakfast like milk, cereal etc.
very good place to stay..feel like small resort ”
I had very good time..even sometimes was rain but you could enjoy all in hotel.. Good restaurants in hotel and if you have guest nobody bother you ffor ID or something...Very good room service. .everyday. ..very good friendly staff. . Motorbike taxi available 24/7...fastest way to move around Pattaya. .and of course cheap...the only think i didn't like it was you have to pay for WiFi but you can by sim card and load. One week cost 80 baht and conection is very good. .
Full of Chinese tourists, VERY LOUD”
I left at 9pm for another hotel, it was too loud, smelly and just not the supposedly "Palace" they are talking about. 5 huge buses of tourists came and, even though I am married to a lovely Chinese woman from Shanghai, the tourists that came out were Chinese but from the countryside and could not care less if they were loud, slamming doors etc... I will not stay in a hotel like this again.
Nice Hotel good staff clean rooms”
the hotel is located at the convinient place, you can arrive at some shopping mall and the beach in a short time...however, the decoration included in the hotel does not match young generation's requirement...it is a little out-of-date..
Lovely hotel, neat and spacious rooms”
One of the best hotel stay in Pattaya Loved the view from the window spacious rooms with kitchen and sufficient space for small family. Neat and well arranged. Only the problem was no free wifi. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were co-operative and some of the staff could communicate in english, others were very helpful though cannot speak english
Great value for money Breakfast choices fantastic ”
we enjoyed staying here very much. the pool was fantastic. we ordered very reasonable priced lunches by the pool. it is on the east side of sukhumvit road so can be quite busy to get somewhere, however the positives far outweigh this. the hotel restaurant the whitehorse is fantastic value for money. there are many chinese families at this hotel which we really liked as we were the only aussies here.
Excellent hotel but not ideal Location”
Hotel was excellent, rooms were big and neat & clean.Staff was too cooperative.food was excellent. Finally we got Indian food in any hotel.Only location didn't suited us.Not close by to shopping centers or nightlife or any other tourist attraction.Must be ideal hotel for business travelers.
a short business trip”
You really get value for money in this somewhat isolated hotel from central Pattaya.Rooms are large and clean, bed OK, swimming pool is nice as well. However breakfast need real improvement for the Western Guest. Just some bread and jam a simply not enough. Hot food is plenty. Finally staff need to be trained to be more friendly at check in, now it looks like robots.
Good 2 Weeks away in a very good Hotel”
This is a very good Hotel, about 5 miles from the centre of Pattaya and in a good location and peaceful, it is by a railway but you only get 2/3 trains a day and you don't hear them most of the time. The staff are always welcoming you with a smile, some of the waiting staff need to speak a little more English, some times a bit hard to make them understand what you are after I found it was better to point at the Menu and the item you required. Housekeeping was first class clean bedding and towels as and when you required them. always towels for you to use for the swimming pool
The hotel is very nice, clean and cheap. If you like the busy life of tourist centre, which Pattaya definitely is, you better don't go there. It's located off the downtown and I suggest to rent motorbike, which gets you anywhere. Directly from bell captain for 200 baht a day. No bus/minibus will drop you off/pick you up from the hotel and you need to take cab to the bus station. The hotel is only for Asian tourist and I felt I was being stared at, since we were the only ones non-asian there.
1 week turned into 3?”
great hotel for couples who want to be close enought to town with transport, but get a peacful and quiet night's sleep, if you do have any problems, just ask a member of staff, we did one one occassion, as we wanted english name written out in thai, and the girl at reception did it without any questions,
All good but the food”
The location and everything is good except for the food. The food should upgrade more and have more variety. But over all is good
Eastern Grand Palace Pattaya”
the only hotel I experience who charges 150 internet for an overnight stay..too much internet charge! too many ill mannered Chinese tourists who talk so loud on the hallway and carelessly bang their doors...........and some of them spit on the floor while dining...ewe.. Some staff were nice....I'll give 5 out of 10.
Cheap and cheerful with noisy Chinese tour guests”
I enjoyed my stay, but the Chinese tour groups were a bit of a nightmare. They left from 04.30 to 10.00 and had no concept of hotel etiquette ie they shouted up and down corridors, talked loudly whilst waiting for the lift etc. I would recommend asking for a room as far away from the lift as possible!! I thought the breakfast was great. The pool was hardly used at all, as the tour groups had left, so I had it to myself most days. Charging £3 a day for wi-fi was a bit annoying.
Big hotel, Clean room and fair breakfast”
The hotel was ok for this price. The lobby is huge with a small pond and fish. The room was clean even though its not that big. There are many tour groups staying there and it was super noisy!!!! They were so loud!!! The breakfast was not too bad.
