Not sure what was up with the staff but, with a couple of exceptions, it wasn’t a very friendly place. My impression when staff treats guests with that kind of indifference is that managers/owners are probably treating the staff the same. I believe this issue is rooted in the ownership. Easily, the worst staff experience I’ve encountered in the Philippines to date. Check-in attendants were notable in this regard.They are the ones who leave the first and most memorable impression. Kitchen staff was fine. I could tell that even the security guards at the door weren’t even enthused about working there. What’s up?
