Quite okay, but not so happy ”
Our room with jacuzy was amaizing!!
Great place with even better staff”
Probably the best views on island from the restaurant, pool and some rooms. The staff and management couldn't be more helpful. The owners even booked me and my friends with flights after our original flight was cancelled. Highly recommended.
Nice hotel and amazing staff”
I was traveling with my friend, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff was really nice, clean rooms, tasty food, the only issue was that they didn’t have a lot of food options. The location is great, you have a nice sea view from the hotel, and it’s close by the city if you take the Tuc tuc. Thank you again!
Get the Bayview room”
The Bayview rooms really do offer a stunning view. Room is decent size and comfortable. WiFi was a challenge throughout the stay. Only available in the lobby area. Breakfast was different everyday, mostly Filipino choices, but bacon and egg always available. Yes, the steps are a bit of an effort, but take the approach that you are getting some good exercise. Marimegmeg beach is beautiful for swimming, and just across the road.
Location and cleanliness is ok but i wouldn't recommend it for senior citizens who cannot climb up stairs. Stairs going to the restaurant is just too high and inclined. I was also wondering. I heard that there was a landslide beside this resort recently but how come they are still given a permit to dig out the mountain to add a spa and additional cottages. Isn't that dangerous?
Great location near beautiful beach with a lot of restoraunts”
Very nice accomandation, great view, nice nature around the hotel, nice small pool and place to rest. Just few minutes walk is nice beach and there will open soon more restaurants and shops. So if you like to have some fun on the beach, to eat some good food, enjoy in sand and beautiful sea, have a zipline than Las Cabanas beach is great choice and El Nido Bayview best place to stay. For me it was nices place we stay during our travel around the Philippines. What I didnt like is not internet acess in the room and restaurant food. Other was great.
A nice small resort near a beautiful beach. Overpriced for what's on offer.”
Slightly overpriced for what's on offer but overall a nice resort. Currently undergoing an upgrade. Room was spacious with very comfortable beds, new quality linen and towels and large bathroom. Reliable aircon and large TV. WiFi only in the dining area - and still intermittent. Pool area has fantastic views but needs tiding up - more sun beds, umbrellas etc. Average breakfast - but sufficient. Located near a beautiful beach with 300m+ access across the street. Lots of development taking place in the area. Closest minimart and restaurants a few mins drive by tri-cycle for P50 each way to Corong and P150 to El Nido town. Organised a great island hopping day! Once concern were serious cracks in the window seals and entrance door allowing insects in and noise. Should be repaired. Also airport shuttle in NOT free - approx. P1200. Note the many stairs leading to the rooms.
APART FROM THE VIEWS THERES NOTHING ELSE TO THIS PLACE”
Awful service by the staff. Very small pool area. Owners have no respect for guests staying as they wander around the hotel making a racket! Im a business owner myself and would never dream of behaving in my properties in this manner. For the value, you get good views, however you can go elsewhere for these views. Don’t waste your time and money booking here. I have stayed in many five star hotels and can say this is no more than a 3 star.
Nice Hotel - with an access to Marimegmeg beach”
Nice room. good view of the forest and mountain. very friendly staff. 15 minuted away from coron town. if you want to go to town, prepare a 150 pesos tricycle fare per way. Marimegmeg Beach is just 2 minutes away. very cozy and relaxing beach. though the prices of the restaurants is a bit pricey. but this hotel location is better compare to those in town.
Just okay stay”
First, the airport transfer is not free, it’s about $25 and we got charged twice and no idea if they will give me a refund. The location is not that bad if you want to go to the town, it’s 20 mins. by tricycle which is $3 for the 3 of us. The location of their resort restaurant/pool has very nice view of the ocean, breakfast buffet has good selections too but it’s not recommended for older people who’s not fit or who has difficulty climbing up stairs because you need to go on top of the resort which is quite a distance. Their water from the shower has this funny smell too, when we came to the room and open the curtains, the rod was broken. Overall I can give them 2.5 stars if 5 is the best.
I recently spent 6 nights at the Bayview Hotel over the Easter week. Having spent a considerable sum per night I was disappointed by a number of items: 1. I had to walk up many steps to the hotel room. Many more to the restaurant and pool. 2. There was no internet available during the entire stay. 3. The hotel is located several miles from town. Renting a motorcycle was required. 4. Ant infestation in the room. Anything in the bathroom or on the floor was covered in the morning. 5. Cost. The room was over $100 USD per night. This was a below average hotel way out of the town area that should be renting for 40-$50/night. 6. Food. The food at night made me ill. I had no problems with the food in town. Just this restaurant. I would not stay here again.
Great location opposite the steps down to Las Cabanas beach and an easy 10 minute Tricycle ride into El Nido town. Breakfast was limited but the rooms were spacious. Staff were all very nice and helpful, would definitely stay again!
Too many steps !”
Too many steps ! From the reception desk to the rooms was a long haul skywards. Thank goodness the porters carried my bags. After reaching the top the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was cozy, the shower in my room was poor with a leaky shower head. My friend’s in another room told me their shower was excellent. The breakfast menu was mediocre, however a chef did cook omelettes for their guests. The view from the top near the restaurant was magnificent. El Nido does not have the best WiFi service in most places we stayed.
Extremely poor experience ”
Staff very unhelpful, no Wi-Fi for duration of the trip, no communication regarding updates, promised daily it would be back, brown water came from tap in the bathroom and toilet would not flush, moved rooms at 9.30pm, ants all over both rooms, staff did not replace toilet roll or water after room cleaning, ants in kettle which was disgusting. Asked staff to double check mass times for Christmas morning, they confirmed mass at 5am, on arrival to the church was closed, this involved a 30 minute tricycle to and from the church in the dark. Staff were not very apologetic for the bad experiences we encountered. I would not recommend anyone staying there. It was way over priced for what it offered.
everything is perfect except the restaurant is too far especially for elders they have to steps too high..
Stay 2 days . Little far away from the town . But close to the las cabanas beach . Servies good . Staff kindly . Breakfast so so . Recommend to rent a moto while you stay . Because is far to the town to do everything . Sunset view is fantastic
Wonderful Views! ”
This was a very nice place to stay- I'm glad I booked it, having moved from my other hotel which was nice but not as nice. The entire wall was clear glass giving an amazing panoramic view of the Bay- sunsets were awesome. The staff was very helpful. Get a massage in your room from April, she was very good, very professional therapeutic massage for only 800 pesos for an hour. I got one both nights of my stay and tipped her 200 because she is so very worth it. Food was good in their restaurant, also w a great view.
