Our stay at Grand Fortune Nakhon Si Thammarat”
When we landed at the airport hotel pick-up was waiting to receive us. The drive to the hotel was around 30 minutes. The driver was pleasant and spoke good English. The building from distance looks impressive and modern. Its right next to Tesco Lotus that has restaurants, food court and Swensens too. Lobby was massive and very impressive. We arrived around 10.30 am, since the room wasn’t ready Reception staff suggested that we should do some sightseeing and guided us with a map and must see places. We were offered a welcome drink and all the check-in formalities were completed. When we returned around 4 pm, our room was ready. They had allocated us a corner room on the 14th floor which had a fabulous view. The room was nice, clean, functional with all the amenities that one would expect. We had a fruit platter with a traditional welcome letter from GM. The bathroom was clean and functional with all the amenities. Breakfast was the best that we ever had at any of the regional hotels in Thailand, the spread was wide, traditional local fare, continental with a choice traditional tea and coffee too. There was variation in the choice on the second day. The staff here was also very courteous, helpful and had working knowledge of English. On the second day we decided to enjoy cocktails at the lobby bar. The best was the musician who was not only versatile on various instruments such as Piano, Violin, key board but also had a lovely voice. He played songs of our choice. When we learnt that he was 77, that was a wow factor. Overall a fantastic experience.

A 4 stars hotel in a heart of City. This is our second time to stay over here and will be definitely return to stay every time when we're coming to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Room's so clean and good size for 2 persons. It's very comfy bed. All staff are welcome, helpful and friendly. International breakfast is huge and tasty. Highly recommend!!

Stayed there 2 nights with my better half. We got room on the 15th floor with beautiful wiew over Nakhon Si Thammarat. The room was rather small but everything inside was of high standard, great bed, enough pillows and good WiFi. Only thing I can complain about is that there were no electric outlets on either side of the bed so phones and tablets had to be charged on the table on the other side of the room. Breakfast was rather normal buffet, very good but no wow factor. The only bad thing I can say about our stay was the Mosquito problem. The hallway on the 15th floor was full of them and every time we opened the door some would slip in to the room. Also a big problem at the swimming pool. We went for a short dip around 7PM and got over 15 bites in the short time it took us to dry ourself after we got out of the pool. In my travels around Thailand for the past 26 years I have never seen so much Mosquito problem in any hotel I have stayed at, management should look into this.

Great staff, good location, great facilities. This hotel is everything a 4.5 star hotel should be. Nothing was too much trouble, from the flawless check -in to a sad farewell the focus was on service. All staff & management of this hotel have every reason to be proud! Well done!

Everything was so perfect. Mattress and doona were really soft and 5 star grade. Staffs were well trained. Location was just next to local supermarket with restaurants and cinema and a wine bar was across the road. Can’t expect more with this price.

The hotel locate in the city centre. Provide free Parking. The hotel is new and clean. I stay there with family 3 rooms for 3 nights. The bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is great and tasty. Give plus points for local food. There is gym available. we are very happy with the rooms and enjoy the facility. Minus point For the staffing. need more training. - upon check in , my mom realised that the key to her room was not working. My dad was still at the parking so he drop by to collect the proper key. The receptionist refuse to give the key. Asking him to return the key before get the new one. So he needs to go up and come down again. How inconvenient. - my room was knock by Housekeeping at 7:45am for no reason - during breakfast we sit on the table of 6 which is one of the lady is reset the table. Actually she was just clean the table but not even consider to bring the cutlery. - bell boy should give priority to the hotel guests to use the elevator first.
