ホテルスタッフの対応が素晴らしかったです。義務感で仕事をするのではなく、本当に真心がこもっていました。部屋は豪華ではありませんが、隅々まで清掃が行き届いており快適に過ごすことができました。食事もおいしく、当地をまた訪れる機会があれば必ず泊まりたいホテルです。

５名、５部屋で宿泊しましたが、皆が皆、口を揃えて「素晴らしい」と言っていました。皆仕事柄、いろいろな国のローカルエリアに宿泊する機会が多いのですが、このAKIMOMIは間違いなくＮｏ．１です。スタッフの笑顔が今も忘れられません。是非また訪れたいホテルです。

オーナーはじめスタッフのみなさんがとても親切で、日本人に気を配って下さいました。 日本料理が食べられるレストランを併設しており、和食メニューがあります。 概観は木材をふんだんに使った高原のコテージ風ですが、部屋は日本の旅館風です。 お風呂は檜風呂風の木の桶があります。シャワーブースとしては使いづらいですが、趣があります。 部屋に入った瞬間の樟脳臭が気になりましたが、乾燥剤を取り外せば大丈夫でした。 街中からは離れていますが、その分静かで、おしゃれなカフェや植物園に徒歩圏内です。

いつ泊まっても安心できるホテル”
旧正月だったので少し飲み過ぎベットなど汚してしまった。しかしスタッフの皆さんは何時もと変わりなく笑顔で送り出してくれた。 本当にいいホテルだと改めて思いました

温泉付きだが、。”
温泉付きということで予約したが、結局利用することはできなかった。 夜中の到着が遅かったので、翌朝8時に温泉の予約をしたが、伝わっていなく、 8：30なら入れるといわれ諦めた（ほかの人が利用していた） 仕方なく、部屋のシャワーを利用したが、はじめしかお湯が出なく寒い中、水でシャワーを浴びた。温泉で温まるつもりが逆に凍える思いをした。 水回りも汚くシャワーカーテンはカビだらけ、トイレのゴミ箱には汚れが、。ドライヤーにスイッチをいれたら煙がでてきて火事になりそうだった。 WIFIもほとんど入らなかった。 スーペリアの部屋だったからかもしれないが、ヤンゴンの安ホテルと変わりがないというのが正直な感想。 車の手配や、チェックイン時の対応などスタッフの対応も良かった点があるが、次は利用しないと思う。 貸切風呂 1時間30分で5USD（利用できなかったが） マンダレー空港送迎（35,000チャット or 40,000チャット）スタッフによって言う金額が違う。 結局、タクシードライバーを手配してもらって35,000チャットだった。 プライベートタクシーだと40,000チャットということで違いがわからない。 レビューの評判がよかったのでここに決めたのだが、非常に残念だった。

During your stay here, it is festival time, so we have many of guest. So, its something wrong and miss case for housekeeping. And about the hot spring, this is the manual hot-bath (hot spring), not natural. So, we made generate by gas from cold water to hot water. Thats why we charged for 5USD for hot spring. And also for the airport transfer charges, its different 35,000MMK, 40,000 MMK depends on the driver and time of holidays. Because we rent from outside about with our hotel service. Best stay in Burma!”
This was a funny one. Booked it because we were tired of hostels - in Burma it's basically backpacker hostels or big weird military owned hotels, so it was nice to see some boutique hotels in Pyin Oo Lwin. Looked like a lovely place with a little hotspring bath, and no backpackers! Arrived to an almost empty hotel, but an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Felt like royalty arriving in the taxi, staff came out and lined up to open doors and take bags. We were greeted by the manager, John, who (long story short) turned out to be the most interesting and friendly hotel manager I've ever met. Sat down with John for hours over the course of 3-ish days that we were there, just chatting about the history of Pyin Oo Lwin, Shan state, and the rest of Burma. A wonderfully caring man, always asking about our lives as well. Also hooked us up with a free, impromptu coffee producer tour! Loved this place, and loved John. Hope to see you again John!

It's no surprise that you did not expect that this place is a cool and comfortable retreat. We also keep it clean and protected avoiding all the complicated things so it's truly a place to live and sleep safe and sound. I'm proud to be host to you dear Zack though we know the differences in between culture and life styles, we feel a good sense of standard by talking to you. Our staffs got a lot of inspirations to speak and learn English at their work. We also hope you might get another chance in future to pay a visit again. I promise it will be very much more interesting than the previous one as you can do some magnificent trekking to a wild, green and beautiful river, down through jungles for three days and two nights. It was one of the best stay in Myanmar! What made our stay so comfortable and cozy was their customer service. Thanks to Mr. John’s assistance who is originally from Pyin Oo Lwin, we’ve got to know what to discover and where to go, and communication went so smooth without any problems despite I had some troubles with payments which was totally my fault. His amazing knowledge about geography and history about the locality also fascinated us! Will definitely recommend this hotel, it worths for what you pay :)

As this was a colonial town and had it's reputation for many interesting things before and after colonial times. Waterfalls, Flower Plantations, Clock Towers, Ancient Buildings, fruits, vegetables and Wine, Sweaters, etc....I appreciate you both Atsuko and Monique and I'm also proud to be friends with you. Charming Resort with Helpful Staff”
We stayed at Hotel Akimomi for a longer period than our original booking because it was so pleasant. The grounds are beautifully done, room was cosy and comfortable, and best of all were the staff. The manager was always willing to help, and each day we looked forward to seeing Mr. John for conversation and guidance. Thank you for everything you were able to provide. Your insight Maymyo, your lovely hometown, added more to our stay. The restaurant downstairs is very nice during dinner time. I recommend eating outside if you're able as they have a well-appointed Japanese style izakaya setting there surrounded by greenery. The only issues to note was the weak shower pressure and proximity to Maymyo centre in the evening. The hotel is conveniently near the Taj, Pan Taw Win, and numerous other small businesses surrounding the lake. It would be great if the hotels all in the area (between the Gardens and City Centre) had a taxi or tuk tuk service available in the evening to get around easier. Still, neither of these are problems, but more of a suggestion -- the hotel is in a very quaint, quiet part of Maymyo that can feel isolated. A perfect retreat! The Environmental Conservation works are also the works for Asean Green Hotel Standard award which we had received earlier. We stayed a couple of nights in this beautiful hotel and we really had a relaxing time. The staff is so welcoming and always smiling. We enjoyed the Hot springs and the food in th restaurant.

We loved this hotel, as soon as we arrived we were attended to straight away, they helped us organise transport for our time in Pyin Oo Lwin & anything else we needed. The food at the restaurant was amazing!! The hotel itself was Japanese inspired & the restaurant did pretty good Japanese food, even with sake. Will definitely be going back the next time I’m in Pyin Oo Lwin!
