Satisfied with overall service ”
Location is good, 711, restaurants, market is just within 3mins walk. Wangfujing is 10mins walk. Very convenient.Managed to change room as the 1st room was facing main road and too noisy for me. If you are sensitive to sound, try to request high level floor, avoid facing main road and near escalators.
Travel w/ age parents / standard A twin room”
Pro- it have all basic u needs, bottle water, boiler, toiletries (no shower cap). Cleanliness acceptable, bed comfy, shower pressure good. Location, not superb, but for the price, is decent. WFJ 15mins, TAM N PALACE 1/2 hours +-. Subway 10 minutes.Local eateries , convenient store on the same street, there is also a MAC n STARBUCKS. Con- do not expect friendly service, not rude though. No overnight luggage storage allowed. NO ENGLISH, anw , their facial expressions aldy say ‘ Don’t talk to me’Need to ask to change bed sheets. DIRECTION: from DENSHIKOU subway station exit A, “Turn Left, go straight to a traffic light (u will past a bank ,bridal shop, a shop named MONA...). Cross traffic light and go left, all the way, u will past local shops, eateries, MAC, Starbucks, look out on your right, hotel entrance is small and not noticeable. Tips- if this is your 1st trip to Beijing, pls do yourself a favour, use a small luggage, most of Beijing subway do not have lifts or escalators, there are endless flights of stairs. Especially if u r coming from airport subway, u need to transit to city line, distances to another train n stairs is exhausting.
1. Location is very good. Very near to wangfujing shopping district. 2. Consistent cleaning room, refill bottled water even though you didnt't request for it. 3. Front liner can't speak english but they have the initiative to communicate to us through translation on the phone. 4. Have buffet breakfast. Overall, the hotel is very good.
Hotel is near other hotels like Crowne Plaza. Just a walking distance to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. It’s also walking distance to 2 subway stations, Dengshikou and Wangfujing. Definitely a value for money.
For the price can't be beat. ”
Stayed all over China this place is at the top of its price range. Not for the hotel or facilities. Location...subway around the corner key to traveling big cities in China. 4 of the biggest malls a block away. Forbidden city, T-square, and a hill for amazing views like 5mins west. The rooms are not huge nor impressive. But clean and spacious enough to be comfortable for the price. Good showers. TV. Decent beds. Drinking water which is actually so needed. Didn't try the menu or eat at the hotel restaurant why bother the streets are cheaper and food courts in the malls are actually very good quality. This place works as a safe, warm, and we'll priced place to drop bags explore the city and easily get home to a decent sleep
Very good location and spacious room”
A lot local food near by and walking distance to famous street, worth to saty
Staff does not speak english at all but still try to help you using translator. Hotel is well located. Nothing fancy about the room nor the bathroom (very basic) but it does the job. Clean hotel. You can hear people from other rooms (children were screaming at midnight + on my first night).
Good location with value of money”
Walking distance to Wangfujing shopping street, surrounded with local delight and walking distance to 故宫 and 天安门, airport bus to and from hotel available, 7-11 just next to hotel , friendly staff for good food advice, most important is value for money.
Great Location, But You Need to Speak Some Chinese”
JI Beijing WFJ is my go to hotel for inexpensive lodging. Excellent location and price. Rooms are basic. Nothing special, but functional. Beds are surprisingly soft by Chinese standards. Desk personnel have no more English than "hello" and "thank you", so if you don't speak Chinese,it could be challenging for you. Prepayment using Agoda worked well, but the inexperienced staff were confused by the printed confirmation, since it was in English. Perhaps Agoda could provide a separate confirmation in Chinese to make things go more smoothly. While I speak Chinese, I am not fluent by any means. I had to insist repeatedly that the desk staff contact the Manager, when they wanted to charge me for the room again. After 20 minutes of inactivity, then a small group conference (you know you are in trouble in China when the staff call a conference!), they finally contacted the Manager. The Manager could read some English and cleared up the issue in about one minute. He, however, could not speak English. No problems there. The housekeeping staff are great! Prompt response to needs, but again, no English. They were delighted that a laowai (foreigner)could speak! Breakfast was basic, clean and extremely Chinese. Good value and location! Going back over and over again.
Best location for buget hotel”
Wangfujing shopping Street is just around the corner ! It is reachable to other tourist spots on taxi. there are some restaurants nearby so you can have breakfast or dinner as you wish. The hotel overall is okay, it is a budget hotel so couldn't ask for more. Out stay was pleasant.
Superb location, worn down hotel, HORRIBLE staff. ”
Pro: Location - a 1-2 minute walk/1 hotel away from Wangfujing street - near several banks, 7 Eleven/convenience stores, Mcdonalds, KFC, a few boutiques - a 5-10 minute walk from Dengshikou Subway Station and a 2-5 minute walk from the Airport Shuttle bus station Cons: Staff - does not speak English (some do but very very little), a female receptionist (tiny girl) was even pissed that she had to use a translator to communicate with me upon check-in - not helpful with directions or with anything in general, I asked a female receptionist (with chubby cheeks) to help me get a taxi to a tourist spot and told me to take the train instead because they simply didn’t want to get one Hotel - not well-maintained, worn down for a fairly new structure - bathroom was dirty Recommendation Spend a little bit more for another hotel with better English speaking staff and customer service. Beijing is a very difficult place to explore for the first time. Your hotel or hotel staff should be the first line of help that you can get. Jinjiang staff will not give you one.
Best choice Hotel in Beijing”
the Hotel is located very near to Wangfujing street, where every night peoples are going to enjoy the street food in Beijing. it is worth to stay there.
Overall is good
Not worth the money and service”
Room not not clean - found cigarette buts in the toilet - No hot water for shower - dirty toilet.
value for money”
good location but a bit far to subway, great price for this location
Great Location in shopping, restaurant and airport bus. Clean and comfort room. The negative is no fridge in the room
Worth to stay”
Great location, convenient to find street foods, walking distance to Wangfujing street.
Communication was hard. Staff can't speak English but you can communicate through text on their phone translator. Near metro (subway), main shopping street, and Catholic church. 15 minutes walk to Tian'anmen square and Forbidden City.
This is a wonderful, cheap and convenient hotel. I had a great time. The location is slap bang in the middle of Beijing. The closest subway is only a few blocks away. Reception don't speak any English, but people who complain about this lack creativity and insight. Just download a translation app, and vuala you're in business. The people here were very nice and smiled every time I passed by. Do your research on the places you want to visit because unfortunately the English level is very low.
