Nice hotel, but expensive and somewhat dated”

Tahiti is beautiful. Hotel was ok, with beautiful scenery and adequate room. But price was high and I expected to be wowed. I was not wowed.

Nice hotel being refurbished”

The hotel has beautiful grounds, nice large man-made lagoon, and friendly staff. We were admitted to our room immediately upon arrival about 6:30am from LAX. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We played music on the TV and watched some interesting French shows in the evening. The Le Carre restaurant was nice and food good but expensive (typical of Fr Polynesia). We opted for the small French bakery in the nearby mall for breakfast. The free water sports equipment was nice (it costs at some hotels). We enjoyed the beach, and the snorkeling around the bungalows. The overwater bungalows were being refurbished so they were not available to us but should be a nice option in the future. The rooftop lagoon was being repaired so it had some small scattered pools of stagnant smelly rain water that made it unpleasant to sit on the balcony to enjoy the view. Overall I recommend the hotel.

This is a nice place that frankly has seen better days. It requires some maintenance and updates too. Even at the entrance, some of the architectural elements of the building were literally falling apart. This must have been a gem when it first opened but it is a little bit long on the tooth as of our visit. However, it does have good amenities and the grounds are beautiful.

Staff, are excellent, especially restaurant. Fantastic TAHITI show, the best of all the islands we visited. Polynesian buffet fantastic, but also expensive. Again the best of all the islands we visited. Good local bus service from outside the hotel to PAPPETTE, and around the island. Lots of restaurants around the hotel, but hotel better value for money for food. We stayed 7 days, just right.

Loved our stay at this hotel, prior to flying to Raiatea for a sailing charter. The location is excellent, as well as our room with clean, modern furnishings, and an amazing ocean view! We also were able to enjoy the Polynesian dance show, and the onsite restaurants. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return to this wonderful place.

Wouldn't pay full price”

The room was quite spacious and has been modernized in the past but the furniture will need replacing soon as they are becoming shabby on the edges. The bed was very comfy and the linen was clean and crisp. The bathroom was big with a bath and shower. It was disappointing that the water in the shower didn't drain properly and left the floor wet. I opted to rather bath after that. Apart from the drainage issue, the room was acceptable.

The stay overall was very nice. We had a car rental so we were able to avoid eating and drinking at the hotel - the food prices were very high, even.compared to restaurants very near by. The drink prices at the pool bar were outrageous - 20$++ for a cocktail and $16 for a Corona

This is the first stop of our honeymoon. It was a great experience, too bad it wasn't over the top. Rooms have been renovated and clean, but for a 5 star hotel, it feels like 4 stars. Overall, it was just ok.

Hormis la connexion internet déplorable, l'hôtel dans son ensemble reste fonctionnel et agréable. J'ai occupé une chambre avec vue jardin / piscine et petit bout de mer, spacieuse et confortable. En cas de forte pluie les couloirs d'accès aux chambres sont détrempés attention aux glissades ! La nourriture au restaurant du rez-de-chaussée est bonne, le thon frais est frais et les poissons crus et autres sashimis à la hauteur.

La réservation par Agoda nous donne pas accés aux chambres rénovées et bien placées dans l'hôtel. Séjour bruyant car il avait le festival de la guitare. Les services sont de grandes qualités mais les préstations non comprises dans la réservation de la chambre sont chères.

Nous avons été superbement accueillis. Service de très haut vol, irréprochable. Très beaux jardins. Petits déjeuners de qualité. La déco des chambres mériteraient à notre goût un petit rajeunissement ; cela est très propre et spacieux mais le carrelage au sol par exemple est un peu passé de mode. Nous avions une des chambres les plus basiques, ceci est aussi peut être pour cela.
