Give this a miss unless you are travelling with kids”
Look, the resort is ok, its huge and the rooms are pleasant although zero privacy as the new wing rooms look right into the room opposite. As its so isolated you are a bit forced to use the hotel F 7 B facilities which were way below standard. We tried breakfast in two different locations and both were below par. Also had dinner at the beach front restaurant and that was dreadful, although the service was good.
Rooms not cleaned up to 4pm and when we requested a service it was done but they forgot the towels!
If you are travelling with young kids and paying the Thompson Holiday prices I guess its ok. Otherwise,, please dont bother.

The hotel has deteriorated badly since our last visit 2 years ago. Nearly all the bathrooms in the new buildings flood every time you have a shower. This is a major design fault, not some mishap. It is the only beach hotel in the area that does not have sunbeds on the beach for guests. Very disappointing.

Nice hotel next to the beach but small things should be improved”
The Hotel is nicely by the beautiful and peaceful beach in Kaho Lak. There is hardly no other hotels on the same area. Lots of nice beach restaurants to visit and eat in during the lunch and the evening. Also a Minimart where to buy drinks and salty snacks (Really friendly family keeping this mobile store)
The Hotel is itself is a big complex. There is is old (close to beach) and new side (further way into main land). There are few few basic restaurants to eat in but we ate mitä of the time outside the hotel in the beach restaurants.
Old side pools are smaller and on the new side there is big kids area with different water games. Additionally there are mire "levels" having thre more pills to swim in just in the middle of the new rooms. Really nice looking area.
Roooms are well equipped but cleaning is not on the level I have used to in Thailand. Daily emptying of trash cans and towel change but felt that nothing more happened.
Overall good _family_ hotel but not a 5 star place.

Better choose another option; not worth the money”
Just coming back from a 2 nights stay in this hotel. We experienced great and modern hotels, with extremely friendly staff, in Krabi. We wanted to spend 2 good days in a great hotel in Khao lak. Bad choice...
First the positives: the hotel is just by a fantastic beach. A few restaurants by the beach, very good price for lunch or diner. Good amenities also if you have to take you plane back late like us, you can take a shower very easily.
Then the negatives: this is a TUI hotel. Nothing against TUI but be aware that this means that 90% of the people are here on a tour (kind of Club Med).
The maintenance of the hotel is terrible; the furniture in our rooms were damaged, the sofa bed was bad, the pools do not look very well cleaned. There are the old building (with partial see view) and the new buildings (big complex at the rear); we are here talking about the old building. But looking at the color of the kids pool of the new building, we suspect it will not take long before the new building are in a bad shape too.
The staff is not friendly; is it the tour operator effect? They do not smile, do not say hello. Looks like TUI has people managing each groups (like young Novergians managing their groups, ...).
The rooms are BADLY cleaned. When we checked in, it was obvious that the floor had not been cleaned. We asked for somebody to come; when we came back to the room 2 hours later, floor still not cleaned and we asked one cleaning lady who was taking care of another room to come and help us. She did very nicely but this shows that this can be done but the management is terrible. You do not feel the room is lean; we had aunts and again, we had to manage ourselves.
Expensive for what it is: we booked through Agoda and thought it was a good deal. We now suspect that this hotel is trying to make money on the people not coming with TUI tour!
In conclusion: maybe it was a nice hotel before but we strongly recommend that you think twice before booking and spend yo

Overall review is good but the information regarding the rooms was not good.”
The information about how many people the rooms are adapted for is wrong.We booked for 5 adults, but when we got there so turned out that they only have rooms for 2 adults and 2 children.
Other than that, this hotel was very good, an added plus to the good breakfast.

Resort ok but not 5 star”
Not a 5 star resort! Food was terrible, our room did not get cleaned sometimes until 4pm too late in the day for me. The staff were friendly and accomodating, she me maintenance issues that really need to be actioned.

Very Pleasant Stay”
Stayed 3 nights in June (Low Season). Very pleasant and good value for money. Booked pool access room but unfortunately for us it rained almost the whole time, but then it is the wet season and the cost of room was reduced appreciably. Staff were very friendly and could not help enough. Excellent rating.

We had a wonderful time enjoying a room with pool access. Everything clean, very friendly staff (especially management), good excursion options. Nothing to complain, everything was perfect!
