コロナで2年間のブランクがあり、久しぶりにタイに渡航しました。コロナ禍の影響か、宿泊費が3割ほど安くてラッキーでした。無料でグレードアップしてくれた最初に案内された部屋は正面に立体駐車場があって、窓にも鳥の糞が多数ついていて余りいい部屋ではなかったので、その旨話をすると、2階上の部屋に変更して頂けました。ホテルの隣のマックスバリューとスターバックスは健在でちょっとした買い物やコーヒータイムには便利でした。近くの汽車のホゥアランポーン駅は閉鎖になっているのでアユタヤなど汽車で移動する際は注意が必要です。今はバンス―駅から汽車が出ています。ホテルに近い地下鉄MRT駅サームヤーンからバンス―駅には1本で移動できます。シーロム通りやスリウォン通りに近い立地で大変便利です。

今回で3回目。サムヤーン駅から徒歩5分位で到着します。コロナウィルスの影響もあり日本人多め、中国人は見ませんでした。BTSを使えば中心にもアクセス良く、パッポンまでバイタクで60Bその分安く設定されているのかも…プールは欧米人が少しでのんびりするのには最高ですが、日差しがない分、プールは寒い、チェアで本を読んでました。清掃完璧、経験上、シャワーの水圧もタイの中ではNo1。また近くにはジョークサムヤーンと言うジョークの店がおすすめ。朝食は毎朝そちらで頂きました。お金に余裕のある方は、ホテルのビュフェは良いです。今回、貧乏旅行の為、宿泊のみ。スタッフ笑顔サービス共に完璧です!また、バンコクに行く時は利用します!

地下鉄サムヤン駅から近く、あちこち行くのにアクセスが便利。特に王宮近くまで地下鉄が伸びたので、便利だった。地下鉄駅からは少しわかりにくいかもしれないが、慣れたら徒歩五分くらいで着く。地下鉄は切符を買うのに行列ができるので、最初にチャージ式のプリペイドカードを買って使った。デポジットはとられたが、高くはない。サムヤン駅にはフードコートやスーパー、ショッピングセンターも直結しているし、ホテルのすぐそばにはマックスバリューもあって、買い物や食事には困らない。ホテルではチェックインのときに1000バーツのデポジット代がかかったが、チェックアウトのときに返してもらえる。チェックインして部屋に行くと、バスマットが既に濡れていたので、交換してもらえるよう頼んだら、持ってきたのはバスタオル2枚だった。一日、雨でずぶ濡れになったが、洋服を乾かす乾燥機はなかった。部屋のハンガーもクローゼット内に備え付けで、外して他の場所に干すことができなかった。日本からハンガーを1〜2本もっていくと良いと思った。バスタブ付きの部屋にし、雨で濡れて冷えた身体を温められたり、毎日の疲れをお湯につかって取ることができたのは良かった。が、新しいはずのバスタブ周りは既に古びた汚れが少し着いていた。換気扇がないので、カビやすいのかもしれない。トイレのウォッシュレットはとても快適だった。歯ブラシ、タオル、シャンプー、石鹸、ドライヤー、スリッパ、バスローブはついている。寝着は付いていないので、持っていく必要あり。毎日、カップ麺、スナック、水がもらえるのも嬉しかった。(カップ麺はいらない)スパはとても気持ちが良かった。1時間700バーツの肩腰プランにしたが、足からもみほぐしてくれ、頭もマッサージしてくれた。終わったら、チップは？と請求され、100バーツ渡した。支払いはフロントではなく、直接スパの受付で支払う仕組み。喫煙は外の駐車場前でしかできない。 今回、部屋でワイヤレスイヤホンを紛失した。枕の下に入れてたが、なくなり、フロントに言っても見つからなかったことが大変残念だった。 メータータクシーを呼んでもらえるよう頼んだが、来たのはメータータクシーではなかったことも残念だった。 全体としては、いいホテル。また機会があれば利用したい。
