Location is great. Walking distance to several attractions and shopping. Staff at reception is great. Very welcoming. Helped with suggestions of where I should go/do. The room I was given was close to a service door, there was noise early in the morning. Did not like how cleaning person treated my belongings.
Wish the rooms were bigger”
Staff greets you always with a smile. Perfect location just next to almost everything. The room we were in though was too small for a couple with 2 luggage’s no where to keep but the floor, hitting legs, ankles with edges all the time. Breakfast not so, but we’re forces to have it there as most Coffeeshop outside opens not before 10 adhering to Spanish customs of eating late. Shower was good with massage fittings.
Not What We Expected”
Although located within an hour walk to most sights, the hotel rooms were very small and tightly packed with over-sized items making it impossible for two people to co-habitat the room. Although the front desk staff were eager to share their local knowledge there was no discussion of any added amenities of the hotel like the roof-top bar and restaurant or spa. Overall, it was not worth the cost.
Amazing staff but a few disappointments ”
Staff in the reception area were as good as any staff we've come across. Room with balcony facing square was very nice with stunning views of square. The reason we stayed at this hotel was because we used to live in Madrid and would often use the rooftop bar, however for the 3 nights we were there the bar was closed for functions, night one entirely, night 2 you could sit down the side of the bar (with no view of santa ana) and night 3 entirely closed until 11pm. This was extremely dissapointing. When we did eventually get to sit up there I was charged 20 euros for the same glass of champagne that had cost 10 euros 5 floors down in the cocktail bar despite being hotel guests!! Was also a little annoyed at the snotty waitress who served us that for whatever reason clearly thought she was better than anyone in there but was wearing nike trainers...didnt quite fit with a place that charges 20 euros a drink. All in all a great hotel but the above left a bit of a nasty taste in our mouths
Great location and breakfast”
Location is perfect and breakfast is good. The room size are not all the same, ours is a double/queen bed and my parents' is a king bed. Reception staffs are very friendly.
Hotel reception is small, but staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel has a big dining area. breakfask not fantastic, and with E25, you could easily get something better elsewhere. Room is small, cozy and nice. there are many dining places around hotel, the metro is about 10 minutes walk away, but taxis are plentiful.
Excellent. Definitely the place to be when in Madrid. Strategic location, excellent rooms, value for money and very well trained staff.
grat hotel very small room”
stay was very good but room was very small which made it very warm and aircon/heating control was impossible
Quality well located hotel”
Excellent one night stay. Hope to return again soon
Excellent design hotel, but a few gremlins”
An excellent design hotel with great hotel room and comfort features but let down by poor staff interaction, lack of information and poor maintenance. The room lighting options were amazing, when they worked. Comfort levels were fantastic and the vibes around the hotel awesome. Just a shame about the little things that went awry.
Perfect orientated, good value for money”
Perfect, apart from the fact, that we were place at another hotel for the first 2 days, due to a fault on the part of your side.
class hotel in central location”
Good and pleasant”
easy to stay”
Very good hotel for famify and easy for travel by walk
Great Location and Friendly Staff”
Great hotel and fantastic location”
From the moment we stepped in the hotel lobby to them moment we checked out, we were treated really nicely by all the staff and they were all very helpful. The rooms aren't the biggest, but are really well set out and the toiletries are yummy! The location cannot be faulted and there are loads of bars and tapas restaurants right on Plaza Santa Ana for all budgets. Can't recommend this hotel enough!
Good Location...very, very small rooms”
good hotel. i would no rate it 4 *. staff is friendly but sometimes not very professional. restaurant manager, should not profile people. make sure they know you are a guest in the hotel, they do have the tendency to profile people by the way they dress or look. after we order our first champagne bottle , the treatmen changed 180 degrees. should not be this way.
