First, the location of the hotel is great. It’s near all the places we wanted to go and on the cleaner side of NYC which is at lower Manhattan near World Trade Center, Brooklyn, etc. Second, my bestfriend and I initially booked for a king size bed. Luckily when we got to the hotel, the nice reception lady offered 2 separate beds without any additional charges. Room was clean and the view was great! The staff are very friendly and nice. Nicest people we ever talk to in NYC. All in all, i would recommend this particular Hilton Hotel at lower Manhattan.
It's okay but not worth the money”
I checked in late on Saturday. They gave me the wrong room. I was so tired and didn't feel like complaining. I ordered a king room but they gave me two full beds. My girlfriend and I want to sleep together but that was hard on a full bed. i called next morning and they said they couldn't do anything about it and supposedly the room I was is more expansive than the king room.
Nice Hotel, Great Location, Terrible Front Desk Staff”
Hotel is perfect in terms of quality, value and location. Big thumbs down to front desk staff who were rude after a booking mix up and tried to tell us our booking was cancelled and to move on. Booking mix up turned out to be hotel’s fault although staff showed no initiative to resolve.
Nice Hotel in a busy location”
This is a very nice hotel in the center of the major tourist spot in NYC. Very busy outside but great access to transportation. Also, not an easy place to drive to. Hotel is nice, clean, decent rooms and efficient staff. I was on the 20th floor and it was very quiet and the view was spectacular.
Great Location but a bit old room”
Great Location, very nice service. All the staffs are really kind and helpful! Although the room is a bit old and the furnitures not seemed nice now, the view from the window is spectacular! The bed is clean and really comfortable. Generally speaking, it worth the money.
nice location hotel”
overall hotel is at good location and it lands at the heart of financial center, opposite to world trade center, with beautiful sea view esp. at evening and night time, crystal clear skyline. only take 7stops then u will be in the mid town area for night shopping and drama activities. i enjoy stay at hilton always
Exceptional location, spacious room”
close to many metro lines (0-2 minute walk) that take you up or downtown, spacious room, great view of the city, room feels modern and not too old, very functional gym, a solid 4-5 star
The room was a very lovely junior sweet on the southeast corner with a fabulous view of the Oculus and the Freedom Tower. Location is south Manhattan is excellent, easy for transportation and easy walking distance from 9/11 memorial. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Overall, an excellent experience.
Cons: no hot tub, no complimentary breakfast, couldn't set up shuttle due to no concierge on sundays, was told to wait until the following day and the concierge told us we had to reserve the seats 24 hour in advance... how can we do that if you all are closed. Location is great, and coming back to a made bed everyday was great.
Millenium Review - Aug 2014”
Loved the location. Staff was friendly. Hotel and rooms were clean. However, for me a big negative was the fact they charged $13 per day for Wi-Fi in the rooms. Even a Days Inn does not charge for Wi-Fi. I know that Wi-Fi in lobby was free but it was inconvenient to have to go down to lobby.
Awesome view, great location”
Our room was huge - we had a seperate sitting area with a TV on top of the one in the bedroom. Great view of 9/11 memorial. Right next door to Century 21 Department store (which was great!). It was accessible from Newark Airport on PATH (direct to World Trade Centre, which was only one block away. Many subway stations were close by. Short walk to Wall St and Battery Park.
Convenient in all aspects!”
I like this Hotel. We think it was a great choice. Great location, center of everything : World trade center, Memorial 9/11, Subway, shopping, China town, City Hall and Brooklyn bridge. Everything in walking distance, money saver. We stayed on the 42th fl facing the Hudson river, what a scene! I don't mind the construction, it didn't bother us. I would definitely come back.
Everything was better than I expected.”
I was happily suprised of how the staff was so willing to help me for any requests and questions I had. The location is the main interest for me, the view of the new WTC's beeing built was indeed very impressive, the hudson river and etc...My room was kept clean during my short stay, but it'd the comfort of the bed and pillows that provided me the complete reassurance of comfort after a long day. I will without a doubt return to the Millenium Hilton in the near future. Thank you to the staff.
Great location and room”
the hotel is in great location with access to 2 lines of metro (world trade center e station and cortlandt street station r are right in front of the hotel with less than a minute walk to these stations) and only a few stations away from soho, great shopping area. the hotel is also close to other tourist destinations such as brooklyn bridge and south ferry to go to liberty island and staten island.
Lovely hotel and service”
simply awesome. well i just arrived and room wasn't ready. it seem that check in time is till 3pm which i think is pretty late. front desk was very welcoming but the place is so far clean and cute very minimal. the price is reasonable $75 for a queen bed and private bathroom. not bad for an up coming artsy city. i still have to check out my room but i have about 50mins till check in time. ugh! but i'll be back with the review on my room. ooook i'm back couple of weeks late on the review for the room but back, so the room was small but enough for what we were going to use it for :d,. over all it was more than okay
Great hotel and location”
We had an amazing experiance staying at the Millenium Hilton in Manhattan, the location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good and we will come back anytime. The rooms is nice and big and the television and satellite tv was a great add on.
great location, fantastic views...”
The location is wonderful. It is directly facing the 9/11 Memorial and the view out of our 34th floor room looking out over the Memorial and the river was a definate selling point. Thank you to Charles, the concierge who was fantastic! Also, thank you to Arturo at the front desk for his assistance.
Great hotel, awesome view of the "Freedom Tower" ”
this is a wonderful hotel. it was reasonably priced for new york. the only issue is that it is very far downtown. other than that, everything was wonderful. the rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff let us check in early and we were treated with a great view of the river and the freedom tower. the room overlooked ground zero which was sort of shocking and awe inspiring at the same time. definitely a great bargain for nyc.
Hotel was clean and the location was great. The value for the money was not Good.”
The value of the money was not Good as everything ranging from water to the TV was an additional cost which was over priced. The TV did not provide basic channels which was disappointing. There were no facilities besides a small fridge space.
