A very nice stay in quiet secluded guesthouse.”

This was very pleasant and I extended my stay for a week. The deluxe bungalow was very nice and quiet at night. The hot water in the shower worked as did the Satellite TV, the kettle, the aircondioner and the mini fridge. The room was clean and safe, the bed comfortable with clean linen and fresh towels. The staff were very friendly and obliging. They now have a basic cafe that serves a simple breakfast and some snacks. THe grounds and swimming pool were clean. I would stay there again as it was one of the nicest places I have stayed at in Kep. Overall quiet and peaceful even at New Years!

Friendly staff with a good location but the room wasnt clean. I found alive and dead cockroaches and hair on the floor and bed. Its quite old, could do with updating. And I was kept awake by a blaring tv and woken up with the same.

This is not our usual place in Kep and we regret booking this. The place is not maintained, grass were overgrown. Pool was dirty, if you want to swim, you'd have to clear the leaves by yourself. Some pathways were unlighted at night. Rooms. Don't get me started. Like everything is broken. Shower head, falling off narrowly missing my son's head. Other room we booked the toilet door had a hole, flush not working. Curtains falling off etc. It's like small things that could have been repaired was just left as in. I wouldn;t even rate this 1 star.

The hotel is very basic, no hot water for the room unless you upgrade to the more expensive aircon room. The pool and location is the best thing. As you can walk down to the crab market in mins. The bathroom is the biggest issue for us while there. Mixed reviews all around.

Feel bad as the guesthouse is like an abandon place,not clean,smell from bathroom,aircon didnt work well,tv broken,and no water to take shower.this is the worst guesthouse ever.!!!!!

The N4 guesthouse had no restaurant that was running. They had said breakfast was included as part of the meal, and when I asked about it on the first day they seemed shocked. When I went to have it, it was a soggy pancake sitting on a plate... it had been there for quite some time. I decided to avoid eating at the hotel.

Worst place I've stayed in!”

As a backpacker I don't consider myself particularly fussy but expect a certain level of cleanliness. When I arrived I unpacked and went to lock the windows, only there weren't any! I complained and asked to move to another room to be told their weren't any; after about 10 mins they did move me and this room was worse! Holes in the mosquito netting on the windows meant I was eaten alive; cockroaches in the room as well as other bugs; the room had not been cleaned if ever; the walls were stained with I hate to think what as we're the floors; the shower was broken and the toilet was disgusting. Security - apart from the windows in the first room that did not lock; the keys were left on hooks on the wall in reception in full view of anyone, doors and windows open and nobody in sight to watch them. Breakfast - dont expect much, the pancakes were made god knows when and left under a cover till you arrived, there was no tea on the second day and I asked for it but never received it. Would not recommend when there are plenty of nice budget places around.

Peaceful location”

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to Kep Beach and a 5-10minute walk down to the crab market! The rooms were nice but had only cold water. Very quiet location and nice pool!

Great location to Crab Market”

Just up the hill from the Crab Markets...An easy 5 min stroll.The seafood at the markets is wonderful. The hotel can organize any tourist needs/ the staff are very friendly in a Cambodian laid back way. Unfortunately the Breakfast is a bit hit & miss...on one morning we had a choice between fruit & cake.However that did not lessen our enjoyment of wonderful Kep.

Charming rooms arranged around a central garden”

We enjoyed 2 nights in Kep and found N4 very convenient for visiting the crab market and enjoying some down time near the end of our hectic 3 month trip. The hotel seemed pretty deserted when we were there so we had the pool and loungers to ourselves. Of course the place has seen better days and there were plenty of little things that could use fixing in the rooms (bathroom door couldn't shut properly, front lock was sticky and needed to learn the knack to get it to open) but for the price and location, we were happy to overlook these things. We found the people on reception to be very welcoming and helpful. We arranged bus tickets to Phnom Penh and a tuk tuk driver at the going rate (no commission slapped on), the khmer style coffee at breakfast was outstanding and we generally felt our belongings were very safe there. Generally the rooms were dated and quirky but very clean and the air con worked a treat.
