Great location. Great service. Great room.”
1. Very efficient and fast check in and check out. Front desk staff and concierge are polite and friendly. 2. The hotel is on the beach. The beach is nice. The sand is clean and beautiful. 3. We checked in Deluxe king room. It is very spacious, nice arrangement and clean. The king bed is very comfortable (except the pillow is too soft). 4. We received complimentary fruits and dessert platter from the hotel for our 34th wedding anniversary. It was a heart warming gesture. 5. The hotel really follows the SOP. Feel safe staying in this hotel. Very impressed by the F&B team. Buffet breakfast was served by waiters and waitresses. A nice sight to behold was a team of chefs and the chief chef were seen taking order from the guests who lined up and handed over the order which was already pre cooked (fried noodles, fried koay teow,nasi lemak). All of them are very friendly and efficient. The nasi lemak and fried noodles were very good. 6. The hi tea set at the lounge was very nice. You can choose either western set or nyonya set. The western set came with 3 tiers which served cakes, macaroons, sandwiches, scones and free flow of tea or coffee. Value for money. 7. The hotel is quite big with nice surroundings. The night view was very nice ,beautifully lighted. 8. The location of the hotel is near to food places and street shopping stalls. You can get good seafood at Beach Corner Restaurant nearby the hotel. Highly recommended. 9. Overall we enjoyed the stay but too bad we only got to stay one night as the same type of room was fully booked.

Amazing lovely resort with stellar staff!”
I LOVED LOVED LOVED staying here!! The staff are so so friendly and make you so welcome. I can't wait to come back! The resort is amazing and gorgeous - the facilities are spic and span, the pool is crystal clear and there is a fun kids pool with 2 giant slides (one is intermediate and one is advanced aka super fast)! There is a pristine beach with an amazing sunset view right in your backyard - all you have to do is take the lift to the lobby from your room, walk through the lobby and the pool/park area, and voila - in less than 5 mins you're at the beautiful beach! Although Batu Ferringhi is a ways away from Georgetown, it was super easy to get a Grab. The ride can be a little pricey (about 30rm maybe) but Georgetown is well worth a day trip. Oh and the bed is one of the best I've ever slept in. It was huge (two super single beds joined together), the linens were super soft and clean, and the comforter so plush. I miss it already. A GREAT choice!!

Excellent hotel with excellent location. Extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. Were given welcome drink and snack in the comfy waiting area. Would say their staff deserve a 5 star for their polite and helpful attitude. Our room 362, was big, clean and very comfortable. Large beds, beautiful and large shower room. The view from our balcony was of trees and slightly sea view. We ate breakfast in the restaurant each morning, the food and service was excellent. Every staff member we came across, had a smile and nothing was too much trouble, even the cleaners. The staff looks like they enjoy working there.The pool was amazing as you could order drinks and meals to be brought to your deck chair. Everything was above my expectation. Absolutely very well-maintained hotel just right on a clean sandy beach. From the room service to the comfy king size bed to the friendly staff, everything was perfect! Could not fault our stay.

This is our 4th resort checked in during the span of 2 months. Initially, had booked at the other resort next to it. And after reading the recent reviews decided to cancel and try for Parkroyal Penang. It does not have the best review but it has the type of room we need. Turns out to a much better choice for us. And this is definitely one of the best in terms of the amazing service renders by the staff resort wide, ranging from bellman, housekeeping, front desk, f&b service crew and everyone at the resort. The hotel is nicely kept and maintained. Housekeeping was prompt and clean the room well. Requests made was all promptly attended too with no question ask but friendly smile. In short, everything is just perfect and we will definitely be back again. Thanks to all at Parkroyal, Penang. Please keep up the good work.

GREAT STAYCATION”
Previously came as a solo business traveler and fell in love with this place. This time I brought my whole family with me as our family vacation after two years of MCO. I booked on weekdays but as expected the hotel was packed with families and young children since it has just been announced that inter-state travel is allowed. It was a full book. However, the hotel management did not fail to deliver. Breakfast was good and no shortage of food. They have very large breakfast area! Even if it was crowded, we did not have to wait long for anything at all. check-in, check out, pool turns, breakfast table was smooth. Very friendly staff down to housekeeping, very clean room, great landscape and amazing beach. We did some water sports and boat riding. If you stay here you don't really need to go elsewhere. And do bring your cameras! So many photo-worthy location in this hotel. Nothing bad to say for this hotel, full star from me.

Beautiful, well run hotel. ”
Great facilities were provided for children and adults to enjoy each day most of which did not incur a cost and free cold drinking water was provided at various points around the pool and garden areas, (bonus and nice touch). Pools were clean and manned by the fantastic lifeguards who supervised children and adults using the 2 water slides within the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, great choice on offer and professionally run by front of house staff and kitchen staff. Rooms were spacious and clean with the usual amenities provided(free water, tea, coffee etc). Location was in centre of Batu Ferringhi with the local bus stop in front of the hotel. The hotel provided evening entertainment and the band was quite good. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you want a quiet relaxing time as the resort itself is very low key with not much nightlife. Another plus to the hotel is the amount of English tv channels that are provided which is great for everyone.

Awesome Pool & Great Staff”
I booked 2 rooms as I have 4 kids and I brought my mom along for the trip. In my booking, I requested for 'rooms close or next to each other' and was given a connecting room. That was convenient. The rooms and bathroom were clean. We requested for bedroom slippers as the floor was not carpeted. It was promptly sent. My a/c had some leaking problem and housekeeping promptly sent maintenance to fix it. Very good service. The highlight is obviously the pools. My kids really enjoyed themselves with the slides. My toddler had fun at the mini water park, 'Amazonia'. He loved the mini slide. I hope Amazonia can be upgraded with more exciting features and add 1 or 2 more toddler slides. The area is quite big but not much going on. All in all, we had an amazing time and would love to come back! :)

Tight security for room access, spacious & clean room, friendly staff everywhere! ”
Security is tip top. Our room card was wrongly taken. When we reported it, front office Staff Roberto showed urgency, communicated with security team and within minutes, cased was resolved as it was misused & card deactivated. Buffet breakfast has wide variety. Currumin rest staff Chun Yong+'Rahadi', hope I get the names right were very passionate to serve at the egg station. Rahadi cooks with great flipping skills & we all had awesome cheese omelette that Thursday morning! We took 1 bedroom and given second floor. It came with a court yard with chairs for us to relax and sip our coffee alfresco style!! So thankful for that! In room facilities were awesome! Great Nescafe coffee variety for coffee lover like me. It is just a great start for us! We will definitely choose Park Royal everytime we're in Batu Ferringgi!

As usual, Parkroyal Penang never disappoint it's guests. I've booked a honeymoon stay for my brother and his bride for a 3 days 2 nights stay and it was excellent. Mr. Jelani, the F&B Manager literally went out of his way to provide the best experience for my brother and his wife. A romantic dinner at Gustoso where he surprised them with wonderful table set up (fresh flowers and beautifully decorated table) and the best hospitality. Food was suprerb as always. Parkroyal Penang is indeed a 5-star resort that I would recommend to anyone be it for couple, family or even solo traveler. The interior is beautiful, the exclusivity feel for each of it's guests and the cleanliness is top notch! Thank you so much Parkroyal Penang! You deserves 10 thumbs up. Simply 10/10 for rating.

Post-COVID 19, the entire family needed some vitamin sea holiday. So we chose Parkroyal Penang. And there are no regrets! Despite its dated exterior, the refurbishment totally surprised us. Ultra-modern, fresh, yet sophisticated interiors blew us away. The check-in was smooth and courteous. We booked the spacious family room for 4 days and needless to say, the COVID19 SOP was fully adhered to by the hotel and staff alike so we were not worried and felt safe. A very clean hotel, with friendly, polite and on-the spot helpful staffs. Phil, the new manager was always on the grounds, talking to guests to make sure they were ok. One thing I love seeing is when the hotel manager himself keeps tab and becomes the role model for all staff to follow hence a true sign of a 5-star quality hotel. Most importantly, my kids loved it! This hotel is a keeper!

Best Experience Ever”
The hospitality in this hotel is really awesome. The staff is really kind, friendly and helpful. I still remember when we arrived there, we parked our car a little bit far from the lobby as the parking was quite full. When the staff saw us carrying our luggage they immediately help us to bring all our luggage to the lobby. We really grateful for that. In terms of the room, its really clean, spacious and I like the simple/modern decoration of the room. Our room is at level 2, where there is a balcony with a table and chairs. We can see a little bit view of sea and maybe next time we will book room at higher floor. The hotel is next to the beach and I really like the fact that there is a huge outdoor space that we can enjoy there. They have a giant swing where you can seat and enjoy the sea view. Overall, we really enjoy throughout our stay there.

I would say this is one of the best hotel in Penang. 1. Location - Strategic, easy access to beach, night market, restaurants, and of course right next to Starbucks Batu Feringghi. 2. Facilities, Services, Environment - All Gooooood! I had smooth check in/check out process without any delay. - Really love the swimming pool as well. - All staffs were really helpful and kind. - The breakfast was good (love the Kurma Kambing), variety of food but not really much. - Environment was superb! Too many instagramable spot to consider. 3. Cleanliness - I stayed at Lanai Suite. The room was spacious and super clean. The bathroom too. Overall all good. I had a pleasant stay and great weekend getaway here.

Highly Recommended hotel in Batu Ferringhi!!! ”
It was a great staycation there. The room was nice and clean, bed super comfy. All the hotel staffs are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was not bad. We really enjoy the pool area especially the water slides and the Amazonia water park. Unfortunately there's one bad incident as I was stung by Jellyfish when we're having fun at the sea. I get out of the water immediately and was in extreme pain, as we're heading back into the hotel, one of the hotel staff (Mohan- Safety & Security Manager) noticing me and after knowing what happen, he act quickly by applying vinegar to the wound area then called the nearby clinic to inform them and bring us over to the clinic himself. Thanks to him the incident was handled very well and everything was settle down afterwards. Except from this unlucky incident, we really had a great time there and would come back again in future.

Checked in on the 24th March 2022, just for a one nite stay to celebrate my mom's birthday. We got the family room and indeed, everything about the room is just perfect! The checked in was smooth. Miss Selina was the front office staff that handled our registration. Miss Selina was polite and professional. Thank you to the staff that served me the superb welcoming drink. Late evening, I met Mr John, the hotel manager and asked if we could get a late check out. He politely replied, he would tried to help if there was any availability next day. On 25th March, we had the most scrumptious breakfast buffet at the Cinnamon Asian Kitchen. Really, food there was a BLAST! sedap sungguh when compared to other places I've been to. Met Mr John again and he granted us one hour late check out and even invited us to have dinner at Gustoso. We arrived at the Gustoso around 12pm and tried the delicious Italian food. Pure Italian food. No fusion no add on. Just pure Italian food! The staffs at Gustoso was all professional especially En Jailani, En Firdaus and also Puan Salmi. Puan Salmi is the most special!!!She san g birthday song for my mom!!!It was an incredible and memorable experience for my family and I. Will surely go back to Parkroyal Penang again. Family friendly resort”
We visited in Apr with our toddler. We didn’t manage to get a crib as requested but it was ok. We booked the premier seaview so we had a king size bed to accommodate us. Our room had 2 balconies and amazing views. There’s a small baby pool and slides for adults. Amazonia is a bit of fun for kids too. Beach is fairly clean but could do better, the sand is not very fine for toddlers but u would expect it so in this part of the country. There are watersport activities in the sea but a section is cordoned off for safe swimming. Our room did not come with breakfast but we had lunch at the restaurant which is decent since we wanted a quiet lunch. Staff are friendly. We also liked that the hotel is refurbished in recent years compared to some others around the area.

FIRST CLASS SERVICE BY ALL STAFF”
Superb service by all the hotel staff. I was impressed with the way the front office staff handled my check in process....as soon i reached the counter, i was politely approached by the staff to have a seat nearby and all the process of checking in was carried out from the comfort of my seat. The lady staff (sorry i've forgotten her name) even arranged for welcome drinks for all my family members. The housekeeping staff are also very helpful and considerate. They entertained my requests among others to have extra towels & blankets without any hesitation. I did encounter some bad experience with other 5 star hotels which are so fussy with such requests....so i was so impressed and touched by the hospitality of the hotel. 5 thumbs up for Park Royal Hotel & its outstanding staff!

Nice rooms, fantastic staff, beautiful pool and grounds”
We are frequent guests at the Parkroyal Resort Penang and again on this visit the staff were friendly helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel was really busy due to it being a long weekend and the start of the period of interstate travel being allowed. Even though the hotel was almost full, the SOPs were adhered to, making us feel safe and comfortable, and the staff attended to allour needs even though they were busy. I'd like to especially thank the F&B staff and staff of Gustoso restaurant for setting up the deck so beautifully for my son's birthday dinner and for the wonderful food served that night. Again a great stay for us and congrats to Mr Phil Smith and his staff, we will be back, hopefully soon.

I stay at this hotel for one night with a family of six. We had a very nice dinner buffet on 27th at Cinnamon Kitchen. The staff named, Izzatul/Izzatil really be a great help of is during the dinner and make us felt so comfortable. With her great attitudes, fast service and very polite.. And also another young waiter work at that time also very helpful. Im happy I chose to try the buffet dinner at the hotel instead of going out. Not only at the restaurant, we also satisfied with the bell boy services.. All staff are well trained. Well done Parkroyal. My family enjoyed oir stay very much! :)
