More a one bedroom apartment-styled hotel”
Spacious with a separate lounge cum well equiped kitchen, with full cooking facilities. The bathroom has washing machine and dryer stored in a separate cupboard. An umbrella is also provided in the room for wet weather. Staff were very efficient and pleasant. Just a very short distance from the town centre. If room faces the road/town view, traffic noise is noticeable.
Value for money, great apartment with ideal location”
Conveniently located not too far from airport and close to supermarkets. Also near to Cataract Gorge reserve if you need a little piece of nature.
Great river view”
Got a river view suite and loved the view. Couple of restaurants just around the area makes it convenient too.
Great location, lots of good food options around”
Peppers Seaport's room is comfortable and clean. If you are deciding between city and water view, go for the water view. It is MUCH better. The city view faces car dealerships and a small Telstra building with lots of cars on the roads, PLUS you will be facing the open-air carpark in front of Peppers. Not picturesque at all. You will have the curtains closed as soon as you walk into the room. Water view is peaceful and has no obstructions. We were there at the right time when Sundown Cinema was held every Sunday for a short period of time. The cinema is set up just behind Peppers between the hotel and the water. Great spot to hold the cinema. If you have the water view room, you can watch it just sitting on the balcony. Peppers is very close to many good food options. Just in the vicinity, there are popular restaurants like Mudbar, Fish&Chips, and an Indian/Punjabi restaurant. Just about 8-10min walk you get a great Chinese restaurant called Me Wah, which is also around the corner from the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery! Cataract Gorge is not too far from the hotel, and the jetty where the river cruises depart from is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Very centralised.
I booked this hotel for a business trip. I would definitely suggest making dinner reservations downstairs if you plan to dine down there as I couldn't get a table for one as a walk in. They upgraded my room to a suite which was fantastic.
Great hotel....extremely value for money”
Nice hotel...great location...rooms with wonderful view
the room are so big and comfortable, the staff are very helpful
Very good accommodation”
Big, cozy and quiet room
Great Hotel!!!Great Hotel!!!Great Hotel!!!Great Hotel!!!
We are given the best room, 3002 .One side facing the river. and the other side facing the beautifu”
Beautiful Marina on one side, and the river on the other. Two balconies. Paronamic view. Aspecially , at night, we could see the lights on the houses shine on across the river on the hill opposite the river. With the cool wind blowing. Oh , It is simply magical. We are very pleased that we have been given the best room which we have requested. Will definitely go back to stay again in this room.
Great location Great View”
Welcomed by very friendly staff who was extremely informative about food options and facilities of the hotel and around it. Food at Mud Bar and Spice was delicious. We cld reach the city centre by car within minutes. The room had a beautiful view of the wharf although there was a boat that would sail back and forth with a bright light shining in our rooms. The cleanliness of the room could be improved. Our kettle still had tea leaves and water in it, toilet wasn't well cleaned and the sofa had loads of dirt trapped in it. Neverheless still would consider staying here if we return to Launceston.
Good Business Hotel”
Excellent site, modern facility. Both normal and decaffeinated ground coffee were provided with a good press and milk. The self catering aspect of the apartment was good, Bathroom facility and supplies were excellent. The room heating was required and most efficient. The provision of a good TV with free up to date movies and WIFI was most appreciated. Bedroom facing main road should be avoided by advance request since there is marked early morning traffic outside on that aspect of the building and no double glazing to modify this. There is no warning but apparently in Tasmania, guest etiquette demands that all personal clothing or possessions etc be removed from the bed and bathroom surfaces if room service is required. A hand written note was left during day 1 to that effect. My wife and I have never encountered this before but checking on the Tasmanian Tourist site, there is actually information regarding this desirable guest behavior. We would have appreciated an advance reminder at the front desk on check -n or a note on the bed similar to those left where hotels seek to reduce non-required laundering. We now know. Food and service at the Mud Bar were good and it has a lovely waterside ambience as does the property in general. Access by foot along the waterfront to the centre of town is excellent and worth the walk.
Hotel Worth staying”
This Hotel has a good location with restaurants and pubs around. Our room faces the wharf which you can just look out and relax.I should have booked one with a balcony which will be perfect. The room is very clean and service is excellent.
Beautiful spot right next to the water”
I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a bad Peppers resort and the one in Launceston is no exception. We absolutely loved our stay at Peppers Seaport Hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was great and the location was right on the water. It’s only a 1-2 min drive to the main part of time where all the shops and restaurants are located. We only stayed one night however we wished we were staying longer! If you have a car with you which you want to park at the hotel then the cost is $8 per day, which sucks but that’s the council’s fault not Peppers. I definitely recommend this hotel.
location, seaport view”
located in the port of launceston indeed makes it a nice experience to stay in launceston, you will need car definitely if you want to stroll to city unless you don't mind to walk for 20-25 mins, but it's an experince for more quiet place. facing to the port with a very nice seafood restaurant downstair makes it perfect. room is ok as well staff.
Loved the location easy walking distance to all attractions. The rooms need more sound proofing as the noise from the Mud bar below kept me awake at times. The rooms where a nice size and very clean. Loved the coffee from Cube and the large sized mugs were perfect.
