Indeed above all expectations if you wish to be close to River Kwai bridge. The chalets are the best option, economical and truly has the resort feel. Just a minor setback, there is no kettle in the room BUT they have hot water despenser at the lobby. If you plan to catch the morning train to Nam Tok (strongly recommended) this is the place to stay. Only point to note is beware of touts trying to rip you off with the train tickets. As the counter selling the train ticket (depart for Nam Tok @ 10.40am) had been closed now, its still available for purchase on board. Those touts would claim that the train is FULL already (kinda impossible with my experience over the years) and try sell you "VIP designated seats" at 200thb as compared to normal unreserved ticket just costing 100thb. Get a seat to the left for best view. Also dinner at Keeree Tara is a must too. Happy journey..

Delightful River Kwai Bridge Resort!”
I wished I would have booked another night or two since this resort was quaint, peaceful, and kept up fresh and clean. Further from the River Kwai Bridge than I would have liked but played tourist near the bridge anyway. There were bikes to ride, pool to swim in and the individual bungalows were updated and sided. Very nice visit and would stay there next time I visit Kanchanaburi.

Great pool, lovely bungalows”
This is a great little place. We stayed in a.bungalow and it has its own lovely porch. We enjoyed sitting and watching the birds in the morning. Dip in the pool I'm the afternoon was amazing. There's a fridge in the room and although no kettle, you can get tea and coffee for free at reception. Sparkling clean, lovely staff. I'd definitely stay again.

Close to the bridge and nice rooms”
Enjoyed our stay here as the rooms are lovely. You get free drinking water everyday and they will also give you fresh towels and clean sheets if you want. Its location for nightlife is a little far away but the staff are brilliant and helpful and got us a motorbike taxi to pick us up from reception. Will stay here again Only thing I wish they did have was a gym/fitness centre

A great place to stay”
The River Kwai Bridge Hotel, could not be in a better location to see the Bridge. There is not a better location to take a photo of the bridge than the hotels outside restaurant. The staff are constantly cleaning inside and outside the hotel grounds.We would not think of staying anywhere else in fact we have book a room for next week we were that impressed

Such a lovely quiet place near the bridge”
I am.glad I discover this.place. It is near the bridge and the accommodation is among green.garden, naturally quiet and beautiful. I can see the.chicken and squrrels. The room is fine, well-designed, with good amenities, and a lovely front terrace. Therestaurant has such a pleasant river view and breakfast buffet.is delicious. The.resort.has its own smallpool. The staff wasprofessional. And.. the price.is not expensive even for a Thai.

Restful”
This resort offers the chance to unwind if, as I am, are touring Thailand by car. The chalets are clean and roomy with spacious bathroom which comes with electric shower. The breakfast is substantial keeping you going till mid-afternoon or even early evening. the rice soup is particularly tasty! Staff arefriendly and helpful. Bosun view of river Kwai and Bridge thrown in.

Nice relaxing place.”
The place is nice, walking distance to the River Kwai Bridge. We rented a car and managed to drive to a few areas. Like the Big C and night street food nearby. We were lucky and got a resort near the entrance. We also used the pool. For some reason, we can't float in the pool which is weird. The bed looked super huge. (turned out to be 2 joined beds. Lol!). The toilet bowl drains super slowly. Was worried it was going to clog (it didn't). Overall the place is nice, calming and relaxing. Staffs were helpful and nice too.

Jongkol great barman !!!!!”
Staff very friendly, went out of their way to organise a taxi for us back to Pattaya 4 - 5 hour drive. Restaurant is in a great location overlooking the Rive Kwai, can see the bridge lit up at night when having dinner. Cannot speak highly enough of Jongkol - lovely barman, - very welcoming - nothing was to much trouble for him, great to have a chat and photo with him - made our trip memorable - will definitely be back. Great property”
I have stayed here 5 time and this was the first time I wasn't in a bungalow, rather their hotel.. The rooms are very spacious and extremely comfortable. The property is within walking distance to the bridge. It's just a great place to stay.

Excellent Hotel”
This Hotel was an excellent place to stay, close to the Bridge and Railway Station. Beautiful setting looking over the river with Thai or American style breakfasts. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended for a stay

This was not the first time staying at the RKBR and I have to say for the money charged and what you get it will probably open your eye should you decide to stay.My wife sums it up, clean room, clean bathroom, great shower.

Best resort just nearby Kwai Bridge station”
The place is sooo nice and so beautiful at night! very clean. the staff also very helpful. The view from the riverside restaurant is spectacular

1st time in kanchanaburi. The staff were nice and accommodating. affordable food. I like their room; very clean. after a long tiring day tour, we had a massage INSIDE our room. I was so happy that they allowed it coz I don't have to walk back to my room anymore. thumbs up! fave part, BREAKFAST 💕 a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view of river kwai. Would love to book here again soon. Highly recommend it. 💕

perfect location”
since i first watched the movie,,,bridge over the river kwai with my grandfather, father and brother as a child ive always had a fascination with the place,,,,so finally, at the age of 53 i got to go there,,,the region has loads of WW2 sites to check out and the bridge resort is right in the middle of it all,,,right beside the river and a 5 to 10 minute walk from the bridge,,,,i really hope me and my girlfriend jenny can visit again,,,,

I stayed in this hotel many times ; often with my family and oversea friends. We love this hotel because of the location, friendly staff and good breakfast. The garden in this hotel is immaculate and the same goes to the restaurant which overlooking the river and the railway bridge! Thump up!!

Excellent ”
We loved it here. The perfect place to return to after visiting Hellfire Pass. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A perfect place to explore the area from. Only five minutes walk to the train station.

Location and comfort ”
Helpful staff, great location, nice swimming (not over chlorinated as most swimming pools in Thailand), very clean. Most definitely recommend!
