プラーベートビーチを持ち、朝食はおいしいが、それ以外は最低のホテルです”

当日、朝８時過ぎ頃にホテルに着きました（先客がいなければ　朝7時からチェックイン可能と書いてあったので）。朝から停電になったようで、ホテル内の電気が消えていました。 スタッフが「掃除がまだの為、少し待って下さい」との事で、チェックインだけ済ませてホテルのレストランで待つ事にしました。白人のマネージャーらしき男性が出てきて、飲み物をサービスしてくれるとの事で、コーヒーをいただきました。１時間ほど経った後、停電のお詫びとして朝食をサービスしてくれるとのことで、朝食をいただきました。ここまでは良かったのですが。。。 停電のせいでトイレも使えないという状態で、何度確認しても使えないという返答でした。 我慢できなくなってきたので、先ほどの白人のマネージャーらしき男性が出てきたので、その方に「トイレはまだ使えないのですか」と聞いたところ、タイ人スタッフが慌てて「今直しにいきます!!」と言って、直しに行き、すぐに使えるようになりました。どうもその白人マネージャーが大ボスのようです。 やっと掃除が終了し、入室できたのは13時半頃でした。Beach Villaの部屋は、バスタブがあったので、それが楽しみで　早速　バスタブを洗おうとシャワーを出したところ、水が出ない。。。フロントに確認したところ、まだ停電が復旧していないので、もう少し待って下さいとの事で、暫く待っていると、水が出て来ました。しかし、ぬるいお湯しかでない。。。大きいバスタブなので、お湯がたまるまでに水になってしまうぐらいのぬるいお湯だったので、フロントに連絡し　エンジニアに来てもらいました。チェックしたあげく、「この給湯器は容量が小さいので、これぐらいのお湯しか出ません」と言って去って行きました。目が点になり、また、怒りがこみ上げてきました。「バスタブがあるからここにしたのに!!」今回の旅行は　日本から来タイした私の両親、彼（タイ人）、私の４人のメンバーで、ホテルを決める時に色々迷ったあげく、バスタブとプライベートビーチでこのホテルを決めたのでした。ホテルのWEBにも、石垣風のバスタブがアピールされています！再度フロントに言うと、「すみません。でも給湯器が小さいので、これ以上温度が上がりません」との返答のみで　らちがあかず、フロントスタッフも困ったようで「マネージャーに言って、後でお部屋に伺うように言います。今、マネージャーは忙しいので。。。」とのことなので、渋々承知しました。部屋でマネージャーを待てど、来ない。。。そうこうしているうちに夕方になり、シャワーを浴びて食事に出かけることにしました。まず父がシャワーを浴びたところ、「水が流れずたまってる。。。排水溝が詰ってるのか。。。」とのことで、見てみると、シャワーの水が排水されず、たまっている。。。約15分ほどしてやっと流れるような状況で、仕方がないので時間をおいてシャワーを浴びる事にしました。夕食に出かける際に、たまたまマネージャらしきタイ人女性がフロント近くにいたので、苦情を言いました。バスタブのお湯の件、排水の件、マネージャーが部屋に来なかった事を言いました。彼女は「すみませんでした。お湯の件は、停電で給湯器が壊れて小さい機械に替えたため、熱いお湯が出ないのです。月曜日に修理します。ちゃんとやりますから。排水の件も、夕食から戻って来られるまでに修理し、全てきちんとします。ちゃんとやりますから。」言い合いしてもらちがあかないので、仕方なく信用して夕食に出かけました。帰ってきてシャワーを浴びたところ、直っていない!!すぐにフロントに連絡し、見に来るように言いました。スタッフが来て、「はい。エンジニアが直そうとしたのですが、排水溝の奥のゴミがたまるタンクがいっぱいなので、今日は時間が遅いので明日やるそうです。」とのあきれた返答。他にも、最後の日　クーラーが壊れて、全然冷えない冷風扇で過ごす事になった。白人の男性マネージャーですが、朝食の時等　欧米人には挨拶に行くが、私たちアジア人の所には一切来ない。スタッフも、明らかに欧米人と私たちの対応が全く違う。被害被害妄想ではない。確実に白人マネージャーの顔色をうかがって仕事をしているように見えた。恐らく、欧米人が白人マネージャーに直接苦情を言うことを恐れていると思います。それに比べて、私たちはタイ語でスタッフに伝えていたので、なにか苦情があっても、タイ人同士でもみ消して、白人マネージャーに伝わらないようにしているのだと思います。 プラーベートビーチを持ち、朝食はおいしかったが、それ以外は最低のホテルです。 本当に４つ星じゃなかったら、４つ星と書くのはやめてほしい！

静か、ビーチが目の前”

ホテルはビックブッタビーチにある為、空港からは近いですが、チャウエンビーチからはかなり距離があります。その為、チャウエンビーチからはなれて静かに過ごしたい方にはおすすめです。 プールサイドがビーチのすぐ側なので、夕日をみながらプールにはいれます。

GOOD”

たまたまと思いますが予約していた部屋近くが工事中で無料でアップグレードしsweetルームに 変更してくれました。最高な部屋でした またプールもよかったです。 繁華街のチヤウエンエリアには距離あります。 今回はパンガン島息の為にこのエリアに宿泊しました。

非常に満足”

We stayed here one night before flying from the airport. Lovely oool and sun loungers over looking the beach. Room was good air con efficient. Food was nice but a little expensive (however think this is the case in Samui hotels anyway). Breakfast however was disappointing (cold basic unappetising) would stay again but would probably eat out just to explore more some great eating spots on the island.

We stayed here for one night after landing in Koh Samui from London. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and check in was very easy. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only (very minor) negative is that our room was quite near the road, and we did get woken up at least once in the night by a noisy lorry passing by, but otherwise we were very happy with our stay. Would recommend to friends.

Beautiful resort ”

Soboey resort is situated at Bophut , about half an hr from Chaweng . Is a lovely & relaxing resort , staffs very helpful & friendly.

Near Airport”

Very well maintained property near Airport. Stayed in Ocean Villa 2 and loved view of bay and location in front of beach. Breakfast included and was good quality. Picked hotel because located near Airport, bankrat pier and is on ocean. You will have plane noise starting at 6:00 am in morning but since airport is small I didn't find this a problem. It is close to Seatran boat, big Buddha, fisherman pier. Best Thai Restaurant on Samui, Khoa Horm, located 5 minute walk down street. I plan on returning to this hotel and spend more time exploring this area of Samui.

Great resort and helpul staff”

I love this resort because of the swimming pool,view and huge room.The swimming pool was not that big,but it was enough with nice view and sufficient pool beds for the guest.Staff name 'Jas' was super nice,friendly and helpful.She gave me all the information i need during my stay.I would love to be back!!

Very nice place, amazing food!”

The breakfast was outstanding! It was always more food than we could eat in the morning with fresh fruit, juices and the main course. The rooms were clean and neat. The outside areas were clean and the staff was always very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful relaxing place only stayed here 1 night but food was great restaurant is priced but best curry I had in my 10 days in Thailand. Bars a bit overpriced but apart from this place is brilliant right on the beach would defo stay here again

Pleasant stay”

My experience was overall amazing.. The staffs and manager are very friendly and always offer themselves to help if there were any questions to ask. Beautiful and clean room, amazing view. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay. The only concern is with the restaurant. The waiting time for breakfast at the restaurant were too long, there was once I waited for more than half an hour just for a single meal breakfast. The waiters /waitresses are very kind to us regardless, it was just the kitchen service is pretty slow and this shouldnt be the case for a 4 star hotel. Other from that, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would like to recommend this hotel to anybody who likes a sweet escape from busy and stressful life. The beach is okay because eventhough its a quiet beach, it is the main port for the boat to

Peaceful resort with very friendly staff”

we stayed here our first 2 nights in samui and it was a great way to kick off our holiday. very nice spot for couples (no kids were there during our stay), great pool and spa for catching some sun and very close to fishermans village, airport & ferries to koh phangan/tao. staff were so friendly we decided to come back for 2 nights. penthouse suite was clean, big and cool. only poor point is the noise of planes every now & then.

Saboey Resort & Villas”

The Saboey Resort has an excellent position at Bophut, near Big Buddha: though a bit out of the way, you can easily reach Chaweng on a 10 minutes ride by taxi. The hotel is nice, clean and cozy, with a small but charming infinity pool. I stayed in a Ocean Villa, just in front of the pool and a few metres from the beach: spacious, clean and romantic. The spot can get a bit noisy at times, due to the airplanes flying to and from the nearby airport.

Worn around the edges”

Only stayed 1 night in a “Suite” Didn’t see whole resort as torrential rain. I can not fault the staff at all they were lovely. The room was kind of dated, the bed hard as a rock the towels thread bear and mould showing in places on the ceiling. Far better value to be had else where.

Great for stop over ”

We booked a studio room and I requested ground floor (as I can't do stairs) on arrival was offered a bungalow for 500 baht more as all studio rooms are upstairs. We ended up paying it but that was a disappointing start. The area isn't lovely but once you are in the hotel, the grounds are nice and pool area looks lovely and is walking distance to the pier. Food we had was fine. We only stayed overnight and for these purposes, it was pleasant. Planes do fly overhead, but that didn't concern us. Staff on check in was very friendly, you can hire scooters from the hotel. If I was staying longer I would probably look at other areas on Samui. But was very convenient to catch the Seatran 500m down the road.

I could have not stayed at a better place. I would highly recommend this place. Everyone is extremely nice and attentive. Great view! The breakfast is great. And it's always super clean.

Staff was so friendly and helpful with everything we asked! We were greeted with fresh juice and cold towels and they carried our baggage to our room for us. The view was breathtaking of the ocean from our room porch, and the gardens below were just as beautiful. Breakfast was also great, it's a restaurant style with select meals on a menu but american and thai. We will definitely be returning to this resort in the future.

3 night stay with two friends”

Staff were very welcoming on arrival with a complimentary drink each and chilled face towel. We booked return speedboat to the full moon party which was quick and easy. Staff then carried our cases up the stairs and showed us to our room. We were then given a tour of our apartment. Staff were very helpful and always made us feel comfortable, food was amazing and worth the extra money than what we had been paying in Bangkok/Chiang Mai. Very nice hotel, right on the beach and not far from night markets and the main town “Chaweng” when getting a tuk tuk. I would definitely stay here again and hope to visit back soon.
