最高の楽園”

今回滞在したvillaの前には真っ青な海が広がり（泳ぐ場所ではなかったので人の行き来が無かった為、ﾌﾟﾗｲﾍﾞｰﾄ感が満点）、villaにはプールがついていたので、子供達は毎日プールで楽しんでいました。ｼｭﾉｰｹﾘﾝｸﾞﾎﾟｲﾝﾄが徒歩5分の所にあり、毎日楽しみました。最終日にはﾏﾝﾀとｻﾒがｼｭﾉｰｹﾘﾝｸﾞﾎﾟｲﾝﾄに入ってきました。spaでｼﾝｸﾛﾅｲｽﾞﾄﾏｯｻｰｼﾞを受けました。「極楽」でした。各villaには自転車が用意され、幼児連れの方には大人用自転車の後ろに椅子をつけたものもお願いできます。島内をｻｲｸﾘﾝｸﾞもとても楽しかったです。最終日にはｺﾞﾙﾌプレーもしました。真っ青な海の上でのプレーは格別。ｺﾞﾙﾌｼｮｯﾌﾟではｼｬﾝｸﾞﾘﾗロゴ入りのｻﾝﾊﾞｲｻﾞｰを購入でき、思い出になりました。手袋も購入したのですが、これはかなり高価でした。（これも思い出です）。食事は朝はビュッフェ形式。種類の豊富さにびっくり。満足です。お昼と夜はﾚｽﾄﾗﾝで。大人は問題ありませんが、子供は少し難しい所もありますが、ﾒﾆｭｰに無いものの対応もして下さいました。常駐の日本人ｽﾀｯﾌ：高橋さん・ゆきえさんにもとてもお世話になりました。またいつかお目にかかりたいです。勿論、ｽﾀｯﾌ全員の方のﾎｽﾋﾟﾀﾘﾃｲｰに感激。雨季に入っていましたが、滞在中は全日快晴。最高の思い出になる家族旅行となりました。

多少遠くても行く価値がある”

マーレ空港から更に国内線、船を乗り継ぐ、モルディブのリゾート地の中でもかなり行き難い場所に入ると思われます。ただ、その分海の水は非常に綺麗であり、島の直ぐそばでシュノーケリングをしていて大量の魚の群れやマンタに遭遇することができました。 Water Villaには担当のスタッフが付いてくれますが、私が宿泊した際には途中で担当スタッフが交代し、引継ぎがうまくできていなかったのか、頼んでおいた予約が完了していなかったことがありました。 スパは人気があるらしく、2日前には全ての時間が埋まっていましたので、事前又は到着直後に予約を入れることをおすすめします。 スタッフの数が非常に多く、気さくに話しかけてくれる為、非常に過ごしやすかったです。

水上ビラとツリーハウスに滞在しましたが、どちらもとても広く今までに泊まったことのないようなとても贅沢な部屋でした。どの部屋にも人数分の自転車が置いてあり、島内をサイクリングできます。バギーも呼べば、１５分くらいで来てくれます。スタッフの対応も空港でのお迎えからとても丁寧で、リゾート内ではすれ違うときみんな胸に手をあてて丁寧に挨拶してくれます。ただ、シーフードレストランのディナーが二人で３００ドル以上しましたが、おいしくなかったです。他の朝食ブッフェのレストランや、ルームサービスは値段も普通でおいしいです。それ以外はすべて完璧でとても満足できる滞在でした。

マーレから国内線でくらいでガン空港に移動し、スピードボートでくらいですが、その立地の不便さはあまり気になりませんでした。マーレに着くとシャングリラのスタッフが出迎えてくれ、国内線の搭乗手続きもすべて丁寧にやってくれます。乗り継ぎの時間までは簡易なものですが、ＶＩＰラウンジも利用でき、飲み物、軽食、すべて無料です。国内線のモルディブエアーも想像以上にサービスが良く、楽しめました。 ホテルも言うまでもなくすべてが最高です。部屋はとても広く、清潔です。ビラからすぐのところでスノーケリングも楽しめます。ウォータービラとツリーハウスに滞在しましたが、どちらも、他では見たことのないような素敵な部屋でした。このホテルにはぜひ、また訪れたいと思います。 とってもお勧めです。

何よりも人の温かさに触れた最高のホテルでした。また新しいだけあって、ヴィラの中はとてもきれいで、洗練された家具が揃っていて部屋にいるのが本当に居心地がよかったです。 中のレストランは３つしかありません。

Excellent Stay”

Connected via Colombo. Travel time takes quite a bit, but I would say it’s all worth it! Clear waters, enormous rooms, great service, large island to explore, very private and romantic. Restaurants are quite pricy, but dishes are delicious and Michelin worthy (in my opinion). Highlight of the trip was the private jet ski tour where we ended up jet skiing alongside heaps and heaps of dolphins! Thanks Hussain for the amazing video you made!

We are so happy and pleased with our stay in Shangri La. All the staff were very hospitable and friendly from the time we landed all the way until we left. During our time there, we celebrated my husband's birthday and were extremely thrilled by the treats and surprises arranged. It was indeed an idyllic holiday for us. The villa and bathtub was spacious, the spa experience was soothing and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the island. It was truly a wonderful stay in paradise!

Pros: nice location since the hotel occupied the whole island lots of activities and nice pool friendly staff decent food and not so expensive that expected... (e.g. avg $50 per meal per pax, of course depends what you order), compare to "Maldives standard" dedicate bicycle to ride around the island wonderful room, spacious and nice decorated. Bedding setup and décor is a surprise. Cons: only main part of beach is "cleaned", other parts are filled with plants and not so good for swimming quite a lot of bats that make the smelly air when evening starts, 6pm some restaurant not open everyday, limit choice for dinner Activities are expensive Tips: better to have room near the main buildings areas, otherwise have to cycle a lot to go around. be careful to decide when to swim, especially near the water villa, water level can be up / down and windy. go for GAN international airport if possible, save a lot for domestic flight only if you eat a lot, otherwise don't go for full boat meal.

The staffs were very friendly . They get everything done for you very nicely. And the water villa we stayed in was perfect . We wished we could have a longer stay . The dolphin tour we went was worth the money as well! Truly an amazing experience. The only thing with the resort is its location. It’s another 2 hrs flight from male airport. So, One will need to put this into planning.

Memorable Stay! Incredible and unforgottable Stay!”

First of all I would like to congratulate the wonderful team with the magnificent Shangri-La Resort and Spa you all run perfectly, each one at his own level of responsibilities. I came along with my wife and it was an outstanding stay due to the outstanding standards provided to make the guest not only feel like home but to make feel he owns the home, I would not return so quickly and leave the resort but we have to work and then find the chance to enjoy. Definitely the Shangri - La is the best option because this is our first time in Maldives and the choice to be with your resort surpassed our expectations by far!! in view of all of the above, we are considering visiting the Resort but next time will be with our kids during one of their school holidays so that to get a wonderful chance to enjoy everything within the Resort and have a lifetime memories of their own we really LOVED It so much Thanks for every thing we saw, felt, and lived with joy and happiness

the stay in this resort was wonderful, three restaurants you can choose for dining, very help and nice staffs, they also have lots of activities such as water sports and diving, tennis, golf and so on. over all I was satisfied except one thing, prior to departure, I sent hotel about my travel details and asked them to arrange the domestic flight. I sent several emails and tried to communicate with the customer service manager. But still I just got some very not communicable reply, then again I asked agoda to help to send the flights details. Surprisingly, when we arrived, we could not find any staff from the resort and after quite some while, we were told that they have the wrong flight info. I was quite upset, I sent at least three email with our flight details, how come they still took it wrongly! all in all the resort was amazing except the long travel distance from male airport.

Everything is great. Feel like stay at own house with all the familiar neighbors. Is really worth to travel along the way and pass through equator. Really had a great holiday and more than what is expected.

Great Resort”

Despite the location is so far from Male Airport, it takes about more than minutes on old domestic air plane to GAN airport then 5 minutes speed boat to the resort, the resort is so beautiful, nature and amazing. The staff are so much nicely and helpful. Foods is not really good bur acceptable. Good for couples to enjoy the honeymoon.

It was one of my best holidays.. The staff are very friendly, the service was amazing ,,the hotel is very huge you can find daily activities if you like such couples cooking, spa, water activities, etc. The only two things I would say that affected my mood were: 1- the hotel is very far from Male airport. You have to take domestic flight that is scheduled on specific times ( for 70-90 minutes) which means if the got delayed) such my case), you will wait in the airport and the Traveling day will go for nothing. 2- all the resort beach is not clean. You can find dead bird or full of plants that will not make you comfortable walking.

Our original reservation was for four days, but we stayed for ten days. It was incredible. The location and the resort are top notch. The staff was delightful. Our five-year old loved it, too. I would recommend this resort to anyone for as many days as you can spare.
