very nice hotel but with small rooms”

hotel staffs were very helpful, very art deco hotel but with very small rooms....location is excellent, close to the subway station and a walking distance to restaurants and shopping places...i would definitely stay in this hotel again then next time we come back to budapest.

Overall was good”

The room was a little small but it was clean and a good value for the price we paid. The shower leaked a little but we could live with it. Breakfast variety was really good! The location was ok. We got champagne on the house which was a nice welcome present.

Complex customer service ”

Upon Arriving to the hotel. I was asked three times to repeat myself. I can’t recall if it was because he didn’t hear me or if he didn’t like that I was a woman. I asked if the charges were covered when I held my reservation or if I needed to pay upon leaving. He said I could pay upon leaving and took my card. Needless to say they wanted me to pay once more an amount that they could not substantiate. The front desk service was appalling and Patronizing.

Two Night Break in Budapest”

Comfortable stay. Good central location, just two minutes from Metro although most sights in the 'Pest' district are easily walk-able. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms on the small side but well equipped, comfortable bed and great showers. Totally recommend

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!”

Where do I begin? My camera and equipment valued at about $5,000 were stolen out of my room. The "front desk manager" was less then helpful, until I called the police and got them involved. Another guest, had money stolen from their room the same day! All the while the front desk manager had a very cavalier attitude about both incidents. I wouldn't even let my enemies stay here.

The only thing was. They only include the airport shuffle if you reserve direct with them. If you include in the reservation breakfast be sure you have the email or picture of your reservation, because mine it did not show when I got there and I show my picture. Be also sure that you receive the email confirm.

nice room, expensive parking”

room, breakfast and overall experience was nice, parking too expensive but I understand that the elevator and the basement cost a lot to build, not much other choice because there is practically no parking place in the direct neighbourhoud and I didn't want to take a cab or metro to park the car

Very nice but small rooms”

We liked the rooms very much, although quite small. The breakfast was good but the coffee machine cannot follow. They need to put at least one extra and put it in another location so it is not too crowded around it (or bring the coffee's to the table of course) The location is good, not too far from the center if you have good legs. Especially for the younger people the location is good because it is near the jewish quarter where the night begins.

Nice and clean hotel ”

I enjoyed my stay at Soho Boutique Hotel. The place was very nice and clean. The room wasn't big but good enough. The bathroom was very clean too. The ceiling was high so I felt that the space was bigger than I expected. The breakfast was ok..the food i wouldn't say it's amazing, but good enough for us! It's very close to the metro, so that's one of the reasons I chose this hotel. People there were very friendly and nice, you could ask them anything and they will be happy to help you out. In general, I enjoyed my stay over there!!

Very good hotel great location”

we stayed in the vampire suite witch was amazing, very cool and big. the room was clean and the service was great. so as the service at the reception. very close to the metro station, a lot of great restaurants in the area. we enjoyed our staying very much!!

Convenient location with affordable rate”

The staff there are friendly and helpful. They responded promptly to bring me network cable upon request, though I couldn't get internet connection with my laptop eventually. Clean room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was ok but the coffee was not strong enough. It could be better if they can serve fried egg.

Soho Hotel”

A modern hotel in the centre of Budapest, conveniently located next to the metro and tram. We had an enormous room that was very well equipped. The staff were very friendly, and responded promptly to all requests. The breakfast buffet was the only element that we thought could be improved. All in all, I would recommend Soho to any traveller looking for a chic, well-located hotel in the centre of Budapest.

The room didn’t match with the site’s pictures, dirty walls and dust on the furniture. Air conditioning did not work properly, besides an extreme noise in the air conditioning central, that couldn’t be turned off by the hotel staff. Breakfast ok and helpful staff.

friendly staff and very clean room”

Great...would stay again. Friendly staff .walking distance to all the night hangout and all the famous bar around for example ruin pub . Hop on n hop off tour can purchase from the hotel as well as price are the same. Really great currency exchange booth just across the hotel with great rate compared to airport rip off rates

...a little bit dissapointed”

...a little bit dissapointing stay. Before I decided to book a room in this hotel, I studied some of the opinions on the reservation site. Most of them were positive, and that assured me that this will be a good choice. Unfortunatelly the May weekend (1-3 May) was a reall hot one, almost 30 degress Celcius in Budapest. How can you descibe a trip , to a 4**** Hotel, if the A/C in the rooms is not working at all. Staff was told about the problem, they helped in the way they could, unfortunatelly switching of rooms didn't make a problem done. Haveing 40 degress in the room , ruined all the pleasure.

Good location, bad service”

the check in staff was very unfriendly. we were given a different room as to what we had booked. you sorted it straight away, however the hotel didn't inform us about the upgrade. extremely unprofessional behaviour of the hotel management - no apologies or regret were given to us

hotel is very close to the famous new york cafe and is easy to find. staff was helpful but could only speak simple english. wifi is provided in the lobby. room was standard but we did not find the pictures hanging on the wall too comfortable and pleasant
