You get what you pay for”
I would have been prepared to pay more if they had a small fridge and/or microwave. Maybe even a basin. They serviced the room but did not fill up the coffee and sugar sachets. We went without coffee on the second morning. I guess you het what you pay for. TV remote broken.
Very noisy - could not sleep”
I've been here before, but this time the noise from the other guests went on past 1:30 pm and we could not sleep with the loud voices and people talking on top of their voices. It was quite appalling! Needless to say I had to drive back to JHB not having a good nights rest!!!

Pool wow we spent whole morning swimming .
Phone cable was cut... Call when you need anything, we were 4 but we had 2 towels, there was a kettle but no cups for tea, no water glasses.
Very neat and clean place. Quiet, peaceful and cosy. Disappointed that housekeeping staff were not wearing face masks when attending to the rooms, but I had reported this to frontline staff.

Carpets must be change or cleaned with something, the smell, started feeling flu like symptoms. It is horrible. The chair by the desk dirty! dirty! Sink stopper not tight doesn't hold water. Bathroom toilet makes noise as bowel doesn't hold water as it should, the light is not working in the bathroom. The tv,no clear picture, volume on some channels too high, had to try watch what I could with no sound. The remote itself doesn't respond when trying to do anything.
i had supper at the restaurant that evening of my stay - ordered half chicken with fries as per menu - the menu specify 600 gram - the chicken i received was so small and weigh less than 350 grams - this i explained to the chef on duty that they are steeling from the customers if they advertise 600g and serve 350g only - rather just advertise half chicken and exclude the weight - but if you advertise a weight on your menu you need to be within the limits of what has been advertised.

The carpet was beyond dirty and smelly. When we checked in to the room there was still trash from the previous night 😤 I can not emphasize on how bad the carpet smelled and how dirty it was. The curtains 🤮 so dirty. I even asked for my money back so that I can go somewhere else but I was told there are no refunds 😔 I wouldn’t recommend it.
The staff was not friendly or helpful in fact i felt uncomfortable. The facility advertises a price inclusive of breakfast which is not the case The staircase is a nighmare

In our opinion the reception staff need to be trained to recognise that they are not the people who Matter. The paying guests are. Both my wife & I are nearing 80 years old. Our room was on the 3rd floor NO LIFTS Only Stairs. When asked if they could not relocate us we were promptly told NO _NOT POSSIBLE. No effort was made to investigate our request. The electronic door key had to be replaced 4 times during the 7 days we were there. Not acceptable. We had to ask for fresh towels for the room on each day and it was only on the last dat that we discovered that they launder the linen each day. In our case I believe that we were made to wait on their time to service us. Again not acceptable. I doubt if anything will ever come of our complaints but my company has used the hotel on 2 previous occasions but I can assure you that it will be the last time.
Definition of normative determinism was experienced at this splendid hotel as the stay was splendid.
Bed was so uncomfortable to sleep on ...every turn you take it squeaks so loudly. Alot of noise throughout the night ...you can hear the next room conversation and t.v. No towels in the room I had to call reception for towels and Wi-Fi code...receptionist ask me to come to them th collect...I was very upset and said that's not what should happen. I was suppose to have been given all of this and the room should have been checked before I was sent through. The pedalstal was so loose that when I left my water bottle on it slid. I paid much cheaper for other accommodation and it was the best which included breakfasy
