The room in very poor condition”
A lot complain from my family members, the room condition is very pool, (especially the bed), no hot water for shower, living room with air conditioner but is out of order. No cooking facilities in the kitchen. (usually service apartment is come with cooking facilities).
Suitable for 2 days trip or 1 night stay”
The apartment i booked was for 6 person but the bed provided was just for 5. When i called the person in-charge. she said she expect the 1 left out will has to sleep on the sofa. Please consider it before booking the apartment.
Bad experience at Sunshine Beachside Apartment”
Terrible. For me, it was the worst accomodation (under Agoda) that I've stayed in. The apartment was in bad shape, needed repairs and refurbishment. The aircons in the lounge and rooms were old and not working. The kitchen was gross, and the furniture/beds were very old and needed to be thrown out and changed. The bedding (mattresses and bedsheets/covers) were bad and undesirable, and seemed like it wasn't changed since the last tenants were there. Overall upkeep of the apartment was very poor.

Supposedly have 2 bathroom, one room with no water supply, another room very dirty..lucky we just stay for 2 nights...for those who really want to choose this apartment, pls think wisely. Its really for sleep only no others purpose cos not comfortable sofa and mattress...conclusion : not value for money, and its super old apartment
1st room was not in good condition. bit dirt and not well maintain. electric off after 1/2 hours with burning fuse. got exchange for 2nd room and was fantastic room. nice, clean and beautiful. happy with the 2nd room
Apartment near to guard house unit number 1-2 if not mistaken very dirty and smelly not well maintained. To those would like to stay here pls double confirm the unit before stay. The picture showed in agoda doesn’t represent to current unit.

Haunted room!! There were horror sounds heard while sleeping. The smell was not nice once we stepped in the room. The light was not suitable for my group of family with young children. Seriously would not recommend to my friends.

Terrible. 1 hour after check in the room electrical trip. Had to wait in the dark and hot for abut 1 and half hour for the technician to arrive and fix the problem. Than the lift does not work properly. Press the 10th floor button but does't go up. Have to walk the stairs all the way up to 10th floor.

Just a basic apartment . Poor check in and check out. Waited for 1/2 hrs to check in. No Owner during check out. Have to pass The key to neighbor next door. Dirty shower curtains. No cable tv channel.
Very very worst and poor service. None of the aircond is working properly, second toilet no water to flush after use, no action taken even after complaint made to person in charge. Will never consider staying there again or recommend to another friend. How is it possible Agoda recommend me such a worst apartment. In such cases how can I book any other hotel thru Agoda? There is nothing to comment good bout it.

was a good stay. facing greenish and hills. quite quiet place and very near with the night markets. just walking distance. if hungry, just get down and walk less than 5 mins because very near with local restaurants. near to the beach too.

Parking RM10.00 per car per night.. Stayed for 2 days with 3 cars cost for RM60.00 only for parking.. really expensive. The apartment located far away from beach spot area. One of air-cond was nonfunctional.

We were greeted by a rep of the hotel upon arrival and sent to our three room apartment. Our first impression of the apartment was just okay until one thing leads to another. First, the living room air condition was not functioning. In fact all of the air-conditioning units in the apartment look quite ancient in their appearance. Furthermore,all of the furniture in the apartment were quite old and obsolete. But the most irritating and annoying experience was when the hotel security insisted that we pay the RM10 per day parking fee although it was clearly stated in the advert that our rental includes parking. We consistently ignore their notices and had to argue with the security guard at the post practically every time we pass through the guard post upon entering or leaving the hotel. The moral of the story is, be aware and careful with unwritten rules and tactics of the hotel management to charge extra fees from guests. Rooms and facilities may look immaculate in photos but unfortunately it may not represent the real thing as advertised. The bitter experience really spoiled our holidays in Penang. Yes, you are right. This will be our first and last trip there.
