Comfortable hotel. Bunk bed was big. Public bath was good. Foreign employees put in effort to improve on customer service.
Got a triple room. Room is bigger than expected. Bunk bed is very stable, there’s no sound coming from the bed even when the person in the upper bunk moves. Staff is very polite. Communication in english isn’t an issue. Breakfast is great with bread, salad, rice, yogurt and drink.
Good for international travelers on a budget ”
A level just above youth hostel but below my normal preference
Nice hotel at great location with public bath (carbonated water) and coin laundry”
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It's located only 5 min walk to subway station and 5-10 min walk to Akihabara. There are some convenient stores around the hotel (5 min walk). The room is really clean. They also has a public bath with carbonated water. I brought 1 medium luggage and 2 backpacks. The room size is enough for me and my wife. If you bring big luggage, it will be cramped (but almost all hotel in Japan in this size). They also has coin laundry and they also provide the detergent (free). The laundry cost 100 yen and the drier also cost 100 yen. Each will take 30 min. It really useful for me and my wife because we take only a few clothes to reduce the luggage. They also provide free breakfast. The breakfast is good. The staffs are friendly too. Even some are unable to speak English, they will try to help you.
The hotel located in quite neighborhood yet in walking distance to Akihabara. Ueno is 2 stations away from Suerirocho on Ginza line subway. The only downside is the different schedule of onsen time between male and female which male time start at 9 pm and it is very crowded.
Very nice hotel, very helpfull staff. Close to the station (Suehirocho Station on Ginza Line). There are lots fo convenience store on the way from station. Also there is McDonalds. We booked the double plus bunk bed. Free breakfast although we weren't try it since we should check out super early for our train. I really recommend it.
Cozy and clean, good breakfast....”
Stayed for 8 nights with my friend (Oct. 26 - Nov. 3, 2016). We were happy with our choice to stay at Super Hotel as we experienced exactly what they indicated in their website. They easily granted the requests we made upon booking. The location was perfect for us as it is located in a very quiet area but just within the center of the shopping districts of Akihabara and Ueno and the train stations. We did a lot of walking and it was a good way to familiarize with the area. The daily mini buffet for breakfast is delicious and healthy.. We love also the special daily treat of five items for the ladies. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. They made taxi reservations for us for our departure as we have to leave very early in the morning to catch the bus to Narita. We felt at home at Super Hote inspite of it' very cozy atmosphere. I'd love to come back and stay there again. My husband will be staying there when he visits Tokyo in March next year. Keep it up Super Hotel!
Stay was great especially for my girlfriend which women got more free stuff. Location was super near where i wanted to roam around tokyo. It had 3 train stations nearby, suehirocho being the nearest. Stay was great except that free breakfast ended too early at 9am which other hotels had it till 10-10:30am. Cleaning lady would always come in at the morning so you had to lock your room if you were still changing and just getting out late of the shower.
Wonderful Hotel in great Location ”
Staff is all smiles. The rooms are what you would expect for a local accommodation. Comfortable and quaint. Thay have all you need. Breakfasts is great. Everyday a new traditional meal along with the regular items. Easy access to metro. Amazing food options and shopping near by. The onsen is great. Wish the men's hours weren't soo late. Dont forget to hand in your extra toothbrushes for sweets.
Convenient location; Great value”
This hotel was super-conveniently located a 3-minute walk from the Ginza line and the start of the Akihabara block. Like most Tokyo hotel rooms under $150, this room was small. However, it was noticeably larger and more comfortable than several of the other $100 rooms I visited during my trip. Unlike the others, I could actually walk around the bathroom and bed without cursing the lack of space. We were quite quite happy with the generous amount of bathroom amenities provided. There were also additional public baths if you're interested in that type of experience. The bedroom had many plugs, USB chargers, and USB ports. The TV had 20+ channels. For a $100 room, it felt really-comfy and premium. The only thing I didn't like about the place was the single, tiny elevator in the lobby. It only fit around 6 people. Considering how popular this hotel was, it was often full.
Good location & choice”
Thank you for your kindly.
Good Location with Onsen”
Very good location, nearby train station just 5 mins walk. Next to shopping area so you can enjoy shopping. Onsen also let you relax and therapy from exhausting whole day walking.
Very convenient location, within walking distance from stations of different lines”
Accessibility in terms of locality. Breakfast is provided and nice. WiFi is fine and the public bath facilities are good though the hours for men are rather inconvenient.
Helpful staff, good location. Value for money. Only one lift so had to wait less than 3 mins to go up or down.
Amazing hotel ”
Stayed here with my mum and aunt and they absolutely enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was nice and public bath was small but very quiet, so we could have a very peaceful bath. Staffs were very kind and room was very nice and clean!
Awesome Location and Decent Room, Breakfast, and Facilities”
The double bed was just fine for two people and comfortable. We were offered a variety of nice pillows to pick from. The room comes with all of the expected amenities and toiletries and even a back massager and face steamer which was interesting. The AC and TV remotes have English instructions. The breakfast buffet is hearty with eggs, meat, rice, soup, salad, and rotating dishes with choice of juice, coffee, water, or soda. Staff was very friendly and were helpful to us despite our minimal Japanese. Laundry facilities worked fine and there seemed to be enough to accommodate everyone. Our room had a window with a nice view overlooking the JR Yamanote Line tracks. About a 6-7 minute walk to the Okachimachi and Akihabara Stations. Walking distance to good restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops and close to Chuo Dori. FYI APA Hotels has a strong revisionist history agenda (Japan Times link: goo.gl/zQPkLw) so pick Super Hotel instead.
