            Great stay at the Acacia ”

            A hotel with a great central location. Staff were friendly and could not do enough for us. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed ,excellent service from cleaner .enjoyed time around and in the pool , great room service . Fabulous rooftop bar with great views of the sunset. Reception staff very friendly , attentive and very helpful when needed . Lovely breakfast with omelettes and pancakes cooked freshly to order . Great three week stay and would thoroughly recommend.

            A pleasant, clean and fresh smelling hotel. The room was ready on arrival with complimentary soft drinks and all the necessities. A staff by the name of Sahab Uddin was extremely polite and helpful with our luggage. A variety of fresh breakfast served every morning with friendly staff. The hotel is located centrally a short distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. Overall a family friendly hotel much recommended in Goa.

            Indifferent Attitude for a Hospitality Establishment”

            Pros: Warm and helpful breakfast staff. Some front desk staff are helpful. In house entertainment daily. Convenient location. Cons: They failed to repair a plumbing problem. I had no water in the bathroom on my last night and morning of departure. Lies that the problem was resolved. No email reply from my complaint after checking out. Dirty, stained towels. The filth shows immediately the towel absorbs water. Very noisy 3rd floor with ongoing entertainment all night on the 4th floor (rooftop).

It is very unfortunate to know that we did not completely meet your initial expectation with the way, the situations were handled. I have taken the time to go over your comments and discussed them with the concerned departments in order to avoid future dissatisfaction of our guests and can assure you that action has been taken. In regards to the water pressure, it was communicated to the front desk that the issue has been resolved, thereby Navas accordingly acted when informed otherwise. It is indeed unfortunate that such miscommunication happened and you had to suffer as a result. As for towels being stained, we have communicated the same to our cleaners and appropriate action shall be taken.

            Unfriendly service ”

            Front desk was not friendly They refused and argued 10-15mins to provide a second key for the rooms. First they said software doesnt allow them to make 2 keys and they said its a hotel policy to not provide 2 keys. But in the end, we received 2 keys after unneccessary arguments. It was listed on website when i booked, 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 kids. They charged me extra approx $50. Even after paying we did not receive rollaway bed for 4 hrs aftrt asking for it. We asked for 2 rooms together, but was not given. Overall bad experience!! Room number 216 did not lock

We would like to clarify a couple of things in this regard. 1. You were 5 adults and 2 children. And you booking clearly states 4 adults on the voucher. In this regard our charges are clear and should you book with Agoda would reflect accordingly as well. 2. We have checked the lock in Room 216, which is working fine and was not something you brought up during your stay for us to be able to help with. 3. We understand that you wished to have two keys but as a measure of keeping track being a small property, we give one key and accordingly only senior members access allows for making additional keys which you got.             Walking distance to the beach”

            The hotel is nice and in a great location. It’s on a strip that has many restaurants and shops and is only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Staff at the hotel were nice, especially the restaurant and cleaning staff. Recommend hiring a scooter while in Goa. Also if you go to the beach in the morning, it’s much less crowded.

            They charge service tax for everything. It is not mandatory by the court orders, still they don't reverse back the service charge. If charging service charges is against the wish of the customer then they should revert it back.
