The hotel is in good location close to beach, shopping areas and restaurants, room is small but clean, comfortable bed, but with one pillow only, good supply of water. Nice and kind staff. Average breakfast.

the hotel was clean, located near seminyak though not in the hustle bustle of it, so it was quiet and tranquil. they provide vallet for guests with cars. Hot water was provided, though little unstable. The stay was good. definitely will be in my choice of hotel in Bali.

Room is not maintained well.”

Room have a smell including bedsheet & pillow cases. We have to cover it with our clothes to able to sleep because the smell is strong I can't sleep. Location is quite good if you want to go nearby bars and restaurants (eg. Mexicola) it is just 10 mins. drive away. Bathroom also smell like molds, I asked the room to be cleaned (we stayed for 2 nights) but I think they changed the bedsheets either. I think for their room rate you can get better accomodation.

Value for money hotel”

Really cheap and pretty hotel. Could be better maintained (some minor deficiencies - aircon not very cold, no towels in room until requested for, clothes line broken in one room, rain shower broken in other). The hotel was also not the most ideally located and we had to rely on taxis to get around. Overall no critical issues and for the price we paid it was definitely decent.

room needs to be maintained in detail cleanlines..staff were very helpful..the security could have been nicer to other staf.. one security sounded like he was mad (scolding in balinese) to other staff because the concierge was late to help me carry my bike.

for the price it was beyond my expectation. location is a bit far from the main street. and its halfway between the beach and main street. thats my only concern. Other than that, the room, pool and staff was awesome.^_^

Room booked was access to pool. Small room. Not to clean. a bit smelly in my room. And there was a lizzard (I dont like it) in the room. Far enough from food place, but you can easily swim as long as you want.

It’s alright ”

Pretty average hotel. Large buffet breakfast but food taste is okay at best! Room was comfortable, nice shower. We were kept waiting for almost an hour past 2pm while checking in. Avoid the pool, full of chlorine!

not professional ”

We arrived after walked under the sun at 2pm. We were sweating and exhausted. When I did the check in procedure, one of the staff put her unfriendly face while asking us to pay the bills. There was a bit of misunderstanding, because I thought we already did the payment (direct debit from the card) but actually we haven’t paid. Then I asked NICELY to reconfirm , but she was not happy and still with her unfriendly face she told me to pay.... I mean, come on! We definitely WILL PAY, but the behaviour of the hotel staff makes us disappointed. The staffs should not accuse the guests will not pay the bills! Particularly when I asked to recheck whether the payment already debited or no. And moreover she didn’t feel sorry at all. That lady was so impolite and has no manners to greet guests at 2PM! I know this is a cheap hotel, but doesn’t mean you can TREAT THE GUESTS with no manners! That is unprofessional! Room was not clean esp. the toilet bowl and sink! So disgusting!

Cozy Place”

I am a solo traveler. Hotel is not far from cafe and restaurant. Close to the seminyak beach, around 11 minutes to walk. I was stay a deluxe room with pool access for 2 nights. It was fine, very cozy place and not so expensive.

The Room was D I R T Y ! ! !”

The room floor was dusty and sandy, the colour of the linen was greyish and has a lot of stains. I asked them to change the linen but they didn't change it. I asked the second time, but they only covered half of the bed with another linen which also looked not clean, and the old linen still there underneath. When I was going to check out (around 6.00 AM) no staff available in the reception desk. So we have to wait, while waiting for the security guy to find them.

Stayed in a poolside room here for 2 nights due to a late change of plans. Slightly remote location on a back road on the edge of Seminyak where it starts to turn to fields. That's good if you like it quieter, not so good if you like a lot of places to walk to. Room was small and a little damp smelling. I've paid more for worse rooms than this, but I didn't feel like I'd found a bargain either. I though it was about on par for a budget hotel. Breakfast was basic but okay.

hot water, clean room, near the beach, cheap price”

we stayed here for three days in total, the staff are very nice and friendly, there is a pool which is very clean and nice, the room is very clean, the hot water is avilable, teeth brush, paste, soap and shampoo are also provided. the room will be clean every day except that you dont want it. the hotel is really near the beach about 5minutes to walk to, very convinient. we played on the beach for one afternoon. very nice and relaxing. the restaurants near this hotel are also cheap and delicious.

Dirty and dusty”

Picture looks good. The rooms is old and dusty in real, not sure if they clean it regularly. It could be due to low occupancy and maintenance. Had requested for hair dryer at concierge but it was not delivered after several chases. My Friend from another room got it but the hair dryer is only 400w and can't even dry her hair. The Glass provided during breakfast got funny smell. Overall, everything else is fine except the cleanliness level is not acceptable. You will get what you paid.

Nice place to stay”

The staff was friendly and helpfull. The rooms were nice and clean. Good and fast internet. Not totaly sound proof but it was very quiet. Location in Seminyak is good if you have your own transport. Also main street with enough food is in walking distance of few minutes. I liked the all you can eat breakfast for only 50k.

excellent stay”

Everything was absolutely lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the pool was perfect on a hot sweaty day as it was shaded so still nice and cool and the rooms were kept nice and clean throughout my stay. The thing which i thought made the alea hotel stand out the most was that when i flew into bali at around 10pm and in taking awhile to leave customs and collect my bag(1 1/2hours later) was that the young guy sent to pick me up to take me back to the hotel, was still waiting for me. so nice to see that smily face in the crowd

Stayed for a total of 7 nights ”

Stayed for 7 nights in Alea Hotel in different days. Located at Jalan Petitenget/Cendrawasih which is very close to Gardin Bistro, Sardine, Metis, Merah Putih, Revolver Espresso and many more. You will need to take a 2-3 mins walk to the main junction, best to rent a bike for Rph80k per day. But all the restaurant/cafes mentioned are actually within walking distance. Or u can just call a cab from the hotel or download the Bluebird app to prevent any unhappy price deal with the other taxis. Very convenient and fast ( you will need an Indonesian SIM card for registration and the driver will call you ). Bluebird taxis used meters and price from Rph7000 and it's about Rph6500-7000/km. Back to the topic, :) Overall my stay in alea was great, staffs were helpful and always smile. Room was great but floors were a little dusty, found stain on the pillow cover. Location was great if u would like to stay away from busy streets. Next to the hotel is a paddy fields. Will definitely stay in alea hotel again :)

New hotel with rooms for improvements”

I booked a room for 3 days stay. The hotel has cute interiors and swimming pools. Staff were attentive though not so friendly. The breakfast was okay but needs more variety. I don't mind booking again in the future because this hotel is affordable and I'm satisfied with the price I have paid. I hope the hotel will maintain its price and the standard of its service. Just a tip, please leave your towels in the sink if you want it to be changed. They seriously have no common sense for that, in our case our soiled towels remained unchanged for 2 days because I did not put it in the sink.

Comfortable Stay ”

Very comfortable stay. Ground and Carpark staff are very friendly. Restaurant staff are a little slow and forgetful. I asked for black soya sauce to eat with my half boiled eggs but it didn't come. Breakfast menu limited and can be improved.
