スタッフが常駐しているので安心です 皆さん気持ちよく対応してくれます いつもホテル全体清潔に保ってくれているので快適です 軽い朝食ですが日本にはないタイプのエッグブレッドが美味しかったです エレベーターはないので4階まで登り下りがあります エクササイズと思って頑張りましょう ホットシャワーがあるのは日本人には助かります ただユニット全体が水浸しになりやすいので注意が必要です ベッド周りにoutletがない？のであるともっと便利だと思います もう少し大通りに近いと最高ですね

大きなスーツケースでは辛い”
エレベーターがなかったので大きなスーツを４階まで運ぶのは辛かった。場所は大通りまで徒歩７、８分くらいでコンビニもあったのまずまず。シャワー室は水はけが悪く滑りやすい。フロントのスタッフの方は対応もよく好感がもてた。価格も安いのでこんな感じかな？と思いました。

Very Accessible; Value for Money; With Light Breakfast”
We stayed for one night at The Strand Suites and Dormitel and we had a SUPERB stay! The place is very accessible, near Abreeza Mall and Victoria Plaza. It's also just a few blocks away from well-known fast food chains and tgere are even restaurants in the neighborhood. The place is very clean anf their staff is very accommodating. The room that I've booked has twin beds and it looks exactly the same as the posted photos. There were slippers inside the room (totally convenient!) and they also have hot shower. The room is spacious for two people and has a lamp shade in case you need it. They offer a free light breakfast, which is coffee and a single bread with filling, though I suggest that they give their customers an option of either having coffee or hot chocolate or juice. I highly recommend this place 💗

Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms”
The front desk and other staff were all courteous. It's in a peaceful residential area but also close to the commercial areas right in the city center. Tricycles and taxis pass by in the adjunct street. Wifi worked well and fast up to the 4th floor, however there is hardly any cellphone signal nor wifi in the lobby. The room was large and very clean, bathroom also very clean and the hot shower worked well. Only bad point is that the walls are thin so you can hear even people just passing by in the hallway, and the only window is a large glass sliding one facing the hallway and fronting the bed so if the light is on outside, you will not be able to sleep in complete darkness.

I checked in here for 2 nights and I didn't regret my decision. Comfortable and sparkly clean room, nice breakfast and very very attentive and courteous staff. I don't usually make reviews but this one's worth it. My only concern is the telephone at the 4th floor(beside room 401) because it's not working. I hope they will fix it soon so that the guests from the 4th flr doesn't have to go up and down multiple times if they have minor concerns since the building has no elevator yet. But all in all, I will give this a rate of 5 stars. Will check in here again in the future.

Clean and spacious room”
We had a great stay here. The staff were accommodating and helpful😊. They even provided my son a slipper since di kami nakapag dala. Also, gave me a room on lower ground since ninote ko na may bata nga akong kasama and they don't have a lift sa hotel. Very clean and spacious ang room, and I was so happy na yong washroom wala ding amoy at malinis talaga. So far one of the best hotel na booked ko. Recommended🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Strands is still new, so you can expect the cleanliness of the rooms. My family is very particular with the CR. The CR is clean and well maintained, and with hot shower too. You can ask the staff for a daily room make-over. The best part is it has wifi access in every room, you can post your travel photos immediately ;)

I am from Canada and am traveling on a budget so for me this has been the best hotel I've stayed in out of the 5 or 6 others during my times visiting here. The rooms are very clean and very spacious! The people are helpful and genuine and the location is perfect!

Just few minutes walk to Victoria Plaza and just near to Abreeza. Very clean and spacious room,staffs are accomodating. The only thing is that they don’t have elevator so if you have lot of luggages make sure to stay in the lower floors:) Their free breakfast is just milo and egg bread so if you booked for 3days or more expect it to be the same:) There’s a lot of restaurant outside and some are open for 24hrs.

Convenient location, friendly staff ”
Location is walking distance from Victoria Plaza, and one ride away from Abreeza and Gmall. Numerous establishments can be found around the neighborhood, specially korean restaurants and mini mart. Staff are friendly and approachable. One can leave their luggage for safe keeping before check-in and after check-out. Place is very clean and cozy. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds and linens are comfy, and most importantly not itchy on the skin. Bathroom is small but clean and functional. TV has sky cable but has limited channels. There are 2 pairs of slippers, which is a good thing as other budget accommodations has none. There's free breakfast of egg pandesal and 3-in-1 coffee. The bread is delicious, only downside is it's only 1 piece per person. Only con I could think of is the lack of elevator. Overall, great stay and would definitely book here again. Will recommend to friends and family.

Probably my favorite hotel in Davao. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The facilities are also very clean (the walls are super white lol). Plus, it's about a 1-2 minute walk from Victoria Plaza and Chowking. Wifi's also quite fast!

Affordable Place to Stay in Davao City”
This is one of the best and affordable place to stays in Davao. located at the heart of the city. safe,clean and accommodating staff. The room is very much decent compared to the other inn and hostel in the area.

Have a few things we noticed on the property. The door on were we stayed at (205) had a small space in between the sides of the door so a person from the outside could actually peek through it and see you inside. What we did was to cover it with a cloth just so no one can peek through. Bathroom It would be great if the windows near the shower has some curtains, cause I feel like someone will peek through it anytime. Also they don’t have a door separating the shower area and the toilet. They do have a small divider in between those areas, but there’s no door attached to it. No big deal though, just be very careful when taking a bath so that water won’t be all over the toilet area. The hot shower takes a couple of minutes before you could actually enjoy it. Outside Noises You can hear everything! Lol I don’t mind it though cause I can still sleep even with it. Bed The bed is okay, but I eventually get burried overnight. Lol. The other bed is okay though. Maybe it’s just mine. We booked a twin room btw. The sheet is thin, but I’m fine with it since I just have to turn the ac on high so I won’t get cold that much. Furniture The cabinet’s door handle is broken. Again, I don’t mind. They have a TV, but most of the channels are not available. They don’t have netflix. Btw, they don’t have an elevator as well. The staff are there to help you with your luggages though so it was not a big deal for me. I just think of the stairs as my exercise hehe. A lot of the things I mentioned are okay with me, but I wanted to mention all these just so the people who are reading reviews will know what they’ll experience. On the brighter side, here are the advantages of the dormitel: -Good location -Near to carenderias, restaurants, mall, and fast food stores -room and the place in general are clean -staff are accommodating -budget friendly -they provide a light breakfast (pandesal and coffee) -very FAST WIFI Overall, our stay was good. I enjoyed it more because of their very fa

I've checked in here for 2 days and I didn't regret my decision. The place has a great ambiance, the room is comfortable and sparkly clean, the breakfast is awesome and delicious since i'm a big fan of pandesal, the staffs are very attentive, warm, courteous and accommodating! My only concern is the telephone in the 4th flr(beside Rm.401) because it's not working . It's very exhausting for the guests at the 4th flr to state their concerns or requests at the reception because the place has no elevator yet. You really have to go up and down the stairs multiple times to communicate. :( But all in all, the place is exceptional. Will surely come back here in the future!

Ecstatic Stay at the Strand”
If you're looking for a budget friendly stay in Davao, I recommend The Strand Suites and Dormitel. We had a very relaxed and safe stay here, the staffs are approachable, polite and kind. The place is neat and the surroundings is a quiet one. Hopefully, if we're going to go back in Davao, we'll still choose The Strand Suites and Dormitel to stay.
