地図上はビーチ沿いになってるけどビーチから２００ｍぐらい狭い路地を入ってホテルの敷地に入ってから階段をたくさん上って部屋に入ります。貸別荘風のホテルでした。食事やビーチに降りるのは良いが帰りが大変つかれます。

ゴージャスだがサバンビーチから歩く”

プールはゴージャスだし滞在には非常にいいが、サバンの中心地から遠く、夜になると周辺は真っ暗で何も見えない。

Awful experience”

I've got hit by the ceiling fan in the room. I've call doctor got 4 stitches and all by myself, no one from hotel visit me during the day. manager and the owner of the hotel assert the accident is all by my fault and refused to pay medical fee and compensation. also encouraged me to sue them. Honestly, room services and staff are very kind and nice to us, they always willing to help us for any requests. furthermore, the location is far from Sabang port, about 15 mins by walk. not convenience as they mentioned only 5 mins walk. but its quite and peaceful suite to who just stay and enjoy slow life there.

Hotel is far from Town , I was told its full , yet I was the only guest , All is dark , too high and too many steps , lousy room and not worth the money spent , my advise not to use this hotel .

Clean, Quiet, Beautiful”

Room was great, very quiet, staff was great. They didn't clean the pool until our last day - wish we could have been swimming in the beautiful pool the whole time.

Mixed feelings about our stay...”

Smooth check-in, was then led to the room which was located 10 min. walk from the beach front. The studio-type room is located in a private area of the resort. Pool as you walk in and lounge area, nobody there so you get all the privacy you want (we only saw 1 other guest in the 2 nights we stayed there). Long climb up stairs to room, around 4 flights. Not great after a long day at beach as we later found out. Aircon patchy - only fan worked properly so room was warm through the night. Appreciated free coffee and mangoes in the kitchen, along with kettle, microwave (not working), oven toaster. Only other issue we encountered was at the bar when we ordered white wine with beer. After carrying these all the way to the private resort and up 4 long flights of stairs, we found the waitress had given us red wine instead - not great!!

Apartment style hotel on Small La Laguna Beach”

Had a nice stay at the resort. Appreciated the comfort and amenities in the room (espresso maker was appreciated), accommodating staff (promptly put in an extra bed when asked and waived a fee for a guest that had reserved but was unable to join us), decent location for access to small la laguna dive shops. Located off the beach and an orientation on the light timer for the dark path to the beach would have been helpful upon check in.

Nice well equipped room”

This was my second time staying at the Waimea Luxury Houses. The first time I was with a larger group of people and we stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. It was amazing with a great view. This past time I stayed in the studio. I liked the fact that we had a well equipped kitchen with a cappuccino maker, fridge and microwave. It was comfortable. I was disappointed it didn't have a patio or balcony, but overall I was happy with it. It is associated with El Galleon Resort which has very good food and service. Just make sure you check your bill carefully since someone had charged food to our room!

A very nice accomodation - very relaxing ”

The only two issues are : speed of internet / availability walk way back to the hotel at night - there are no lights on the walk way

Very Pleasant Stay but hell of a walk”

The rooms itself is very very nice but the distance from the main area of Sabang is too far a walk !! its okay if you don't want to go anywhere at night but otherwise it is a long walk back to the hotel at night in the dark

you have to walk on long dark alleys to get to your room, so if you are venturing at night, make sure you bring a flashlight or a bodyguard

El Galleon is a beautiful location”

The room I had was wonderful. It is part of an annex to the hotel and about a 5 minute walk back from the beach, but once you arrive, it is very private with a nice pool surrounded by 5 Bali style condos.

A great dive resort”

Situated in Sabang, El Galleon Dive Resort is definitely one of the best dive resorts in the area - and there is certainly no shortage of 'resorts' on offer . The dive operation of Asia Divers is very well run, had good equipment, storage and clean up areas and even a hot shower and clean towels. This resort was the only dive operation that has its own wharf making getting in and out of boats easier. Dive guides are very good and diving is very conveniently organised. Five daily dives (including a night dive), usually within 15 minutes of the hotel pier. We saw the black banded sea snake, a white tip reef shark, a hawksbill turtle, and tons of fish in all colors during our dives. The rooms at El Galleon Annex are modern, clean, quiet and a 5-10 minutes walk away from the main building. During our visit the WIFI was a bit spotty, but could mostly be used from our room also. Centre of the village at walking distance for entertainment, shopping or dining out. Only downside of the location are the beaches around which were not that nice for swimming. The selection of food on the menu was amazing and every dish we had was delicious. In fact during our 5 day stay we didn't bother much to eat anywhere else it was that good. The Point Bar has yummy cocktails and a good happy hour. Their key to success is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the reception and also the dive operation! They are just lovely and always helpful. We altough tried the a small spa facility, with on-site therapeutic massage, which was quie relaxing after a long diving day.

a walk back from the beach, but private complex”

they've done a great job with the complex, just a shame they're running out of room on the island as you have to walk back off the beach to get to them and the walk is not great (basically past the local houses) however, you're not likely to go to peurto to relax, it is a diving area with bars to wind down at night, much better places in Philippines to kick back for a few days. would recommend if you want somewhere nice to put your head down at the end of day, not sure if it offers great value for money compared to other places I've stayed

Great rooms but nowhere near the beach.”

Bring a pack mule, a sherpa, and a body guard to get to your room at this place. You will make a journey up 69 steps, through various back yards, up dark lane ways past several guard dogs that won't appreciate your presence, as you attempt to locate your room. Don't expect too much guidance or help from reception either. even when you do make it, you can't contact reception because they don't tell you the four digit telephone number to call. The rooms are very nice, and self contained. Ours had no view but others may have. Quite simply, if these were nearer the beach, they'd be great. We stayed only one night because of the scary walk (especially at night) but did learn later that we could have turned on pathway lights (Check In may have been a better time to tell us how, than check out).

Nice Room - Good Location”

Stayed here for 5 nights while I was doing my Padi Open water. I liked the location of the Villa/Room, nice little walk of the main strip. Own pool, private garden. The room its self was big, clean and had a pretty big well equipped kitchen. Oh and I like the added touch it came with its own water dispenser. The only down side, was there is a live in family in one of the villa's - They have 2 sausage dogs. They bark a lot. Got a little annoying after a while. They were very friendly dogs just they barked... a lot.

Great studio back from beach, to many steps”

A great compound back on the hillside with it's own pool and nicely landscaped. For me it was just to many steps each time we went out and came back. The kitchen needs a skillet and some pots and pans if you actually want to do any cooking in the unit. Great view of palms trees out to the ocean. I was disappointed in Sabang. There really is no beach at Sabang that is safe and useable. It is a big diver's center. We did charter a boat for a day for the island hopping tour. On the tour we saw some great beaches and swam at one of them. We also did a motor bike tour to the waterfalls and to White Sand Beach. Beach was very nice and I got sunburned.

Nice room, quiet area”

stayed in the luxury Studio for 5 nights. Was very quiet with only 1 other couple staying there. Is a bit of a walk to get to the room and is set back from the beach. No beach view from the room. El Galleon is right on the beach so if you want a room there check before booking what room you have. Enjoyed my stay there.

Conveniently located for diving facilities near by”

Conveniently located from the next door Asia Divers with a bit more modern and cleanliness compared to near the lobby original hotel. Need to supervise food quality and safety in the adjacent restaurant with more attentive service would have been nice.
