Budget
Location, great pillows, action central
Ive stayed in the 4bed pvt ensuite room before & will again. My only beef is that whenever someone in bed moved, the other bunks shook as they sit touching each other. No lockable units unfortunately. Great wifi. Fantastic pillow. I don't mind kings cross & noise doesn't bother me as I wear ear plugs. My fellow guests this time around were filthy - leaving water everywhere & bandaids in the shower! They also unplugged the fan to charge phones as there are no sockets next to each bed (nor light!) so that's something for management to think about. Otherwise I'm always happy to stay here.

Good location, awful shared bathroom
Location is very good, right next to King Cross train station. Shared bathroom is awful, very dirty and the lights always auto turned off (esp. during my showering). due to the motion sensor.

Good location;room not very clean
Location of the hostel is very good, just right next to the king cross train station; it is convenient to go to martin place. The room is okay, not too small but also not to big; my friend and I are using the shared bathrooms which is definitely not clean - it is actually quite dirty, and the light always auto turned off due to the motion sensor.

Great location hostel
Hostel is just adjacent to the King's Cross Station with exit facing Darlinghurst street. AC broke down when I arrived for the first of 3 nights stay. Have to open room to let fresh air in. Staff said they would bring a fan then but didn't TV in room wasn't fixed despite my complaint that it was not working. The AC worked on the following day but the centralized AC only blew little air so it only solved the problem a bit. Disappointing here despite my complaint and adjusted only on the 3rd day. Room on the 3rd floor and no lift so if you're bringing a big heavy luggage on a narrow stairway would be a problem. Bed is just so-so unlike other hostels that I have been to. 4 bathroom in the hallway seems adequate with good hot water and pressure but seems outdated as some fixtures showed rust. Breakfast was average with various cereals, muesli, toast, milk and jams and jellies. Some staff were not helpful while some were. Overall just a fair hostel that would be around 5-6 stars out of 10.

Very convenient location, good price and free breakfast
Just a few steps away from King's Cross Station, Darlinghurst exit. Stayed on a 4-person dormitory (bathroom inside), with an affordable price. Small point to notice, the electrical socket is not easily reachable for person taking the top of bunk bed.

Disgusting
Free wifi, location
Well the standards were terrible, the room was a shoe box 4 people in one tiny room with no window, one plug socket and a fan! When we arrived the floor had been cleaned but only very minimum. The kitchen was dirty, with the smell of mold and all cutlery and plates were dirty and had chips out of them! The fridges were fully packed with mold and didn't seem to keep the food cool, the drinks fridge was broken and the smell coming from it was foul, a bathroom was broken, toilet seats broken, showers broken, washing dryer broken, everything seemed to be broken overall a poor hostel the pictures are misleading very disappointed!

Good, but not excellent, location and price
Location, price, free PC use
Room was small and without any amenities - only a bed and not working TV. There were no adaptors for electricity sockets, there were no A/C, there were no windows in the room (except small window in the corner). There is nothing to do in the room at all. Only to sleep and go away immediately after you woke up. So called "breakfast" was awful. This hostel should state, that they don't give the breakfast at all - it would be a bigger truth. So called "breakfast" was only few kinds of jam (even without the bread, you must bring it by youself) and corn flakes (without a milk, of course). There was no meet, no cheese, no even milk or juice to drink. Jam without bread and corn flakes without milk - is it a breakfast? It's a parody, but not a breakfast. Things what i liked were: pretty clean bathroom, good location, metro station was 5 meters from the entrance to the hostel, free stationary computers for use in the lobby area (but they were often occupied by other guys). Stuff was mediocre: if you are asking for something, they will answer, but only that. Nothing more.

Cheap, in every sense of the word
Price
Unpleasant. It was dirty, the bathrooms kept locking people out, and it was really noisy at night, despite warnings to be quiet. The staff contributed to the problem a lot more than helping.
