    Staff does not speak English”

I booked this resort to have a comfortable stay with easy access for a morning hike up Mt. Emei. The room and facilities were quite nice, but staff at reception did not speak English (contrary to the Agoda listing). This created some difficulty for me as I had to phone a friend to translate my questions. Further, they told my friend that I wouldn't be able to take a taxi to Wuxian-gang trailhead. That turned out to be simply untrue, and I ended up wasting time getting started as a result. So nice stay but really unhelpful with respect to traveller information.

    overrated hotel”

    nil

Not a convenient place to stay. No proper signboard, quite difficult to locate the hotel. Not near to the town centre and railway station. We were told that Breakfast time was 6.30am on first day and then 8am on the second day. No fixed time for breakfast. We need to ring them for breakfast. Staff not so friendly.

    Jadeite Resort”

    Quite, location

Greeted by check-in stuff who looks more tired than i was. Location was okie, just a short 7 mins stroll up a slight slope from the main street. Small resort with no lift, room was acceptable, rather unique in her own way. I had the spa tub room, water to spa tub is from 0900-2300hr only, need to ask front desk stuff to turn on the main to your room. Water in the shower could do much improvement. Was much disturbed by the ongoing renovation work on the next room during my stay.

Scenic, near to foothill of Emeishan and shops.

It was a pleasant stay, the staff was friendly and the hotel rooms and surrounding very traditional. I slept on a Korean traditional bedroom. Walking distance to the foothill shop n bus station.

Good location and hotel architecture is nice. ”

Very friendly staff and helpful. Room condition is clean and location is within walking distance to town and some foothill scenic spots of Emeishan

Reasonably happy. Informed the staff that the wooden plank in the shower room had a nail head jutting out, a safety concern.

    Nice Japanese Style hotel.”

    Unique, Warm and clean.

My stay in the hotel was perfect, the hotel is simply unique and come with a clean room. Its feels like a little Japanese home stay villa. In short a boutique hotel. We stayed there for a night only as we plan to go to Emei the next day. It was a disappointment trip up to the mountain. The entrance fees was way too high and excluding the bus and the cable car. The walking path was fill with snow (didn't clear) and were so called force to buy a pair of grass shoe (RMB 10-20). While we reach the top after hiking for an hour, we saw nothing but fog. Spent approximately RMB 500 for a nothing. Anyway the hotel have nothing to do with it, the hotel stay was great.

Good location and nice rooms but no english”

Quiet location 5 mins walk from baoguo village, nice modern rooms

th hotel was relatively easy to find, only 1 year old, modern nice rooms, basic breakfast was provided, great vlue for money, 5 mins walk to the baoguo temple and lovely garden surrounds. the one woman on reception was very friendly but did not speak any english however she was prepared to get a friend on the phone when our chinese language skills reached their limit. advice would be to make sure you know where to want to go on the mountain before you arrive and look into the bus options as it was very difficult to obtain a good map and or this information after we arrived.

Small hotel in a great location”

Spacious rooms, helpful staff, great price

we stayed at the hotel during the tomb sweeping holiday. the hotel was within walking distance from the town and steps away from baoguo temple. our room was pretty big and clean and had a nice balcony overlooking a small river patch and the front area of the hotel. the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and let us know the best routes for hiking up emeishan. their breakfast was subpar and the rooms had very thin walls so we were woken up by chinese tour groups staying at the hotel at 4:30am. i'd suggest going when it is not a major chinese holiday.

    Modest but charming”

    Location, price

located at 10 min walk from town this hotel is a good deal for those looking for a comfortable room for a very reasonable price. its owner gave us a charming welcome and walked us to the nearest temple to visit. the mattress are a little bit stiff so be ready if you are not used to chinese beds. the food is their sole weak point, avoid the room service and plan your breakfast somewhere else. otherwise is a nice place to stay for a night or two.

I love the room and the bathroom with the japanese style. It is really homey.

the room is nice; however, the staffs barely speak english and not quite friendly. further, we stayed there for 3 nights, and none of those days where they cleaned our room or offer to clean our room. i must say that the pros are the style of the hotel and the location which is near to baguo temple.
