An Excellent Stay, enjoyed by all........”
We recently spent 5 of the best nights at Jamberoo pub and visited the Action Park each day. We also visited nearby lovely Kiama, saw the Blow-Hole and ate fish and chips by the water.... Jamie and the team were great at the pub, so friendly and accommodating. We had dinner in the lounge and this was supurb as well!! Facilities were all clean and very accessible with ample parking and friendly staff. btw, the beer was cold too, such an historic old pub in a great setting. We'll be back. Regards Angus and family.

Aussie pub in beautiful country setting”
Nice pub accommodation. Common kitchenette/fridge/freezer/microwave with dishes etc available for guest use with seating on balcony looking out onto the absolutely beautiful Jamberoo setting. The pub is perfectly positioned to capture the view. Being a pub, there is noise until around 10 pm, so earplugs might be useful, but the patrons are more like families, or mature persons - not the young drunks. The bistro is very good (especially the calamari and hamburgers), but pricey for pub food, but that's all there is in that area. There is full very good grocery store (IGA) across the street - complete with health foods and some pharmacy products. From the pub, it's a 10 minute scenic drive to everywhere you want to be in the area - Kiama, lookout, Albion Park, hiking, etc. I would not be driving this road at night - the roads are vey windy with long steep sections.

Hidden germ”
Jamberoo is a great place to go for 2 days trip from Sydney, with Jamberoo action park and Illawarra Flying Treetop very near to the hotel. The town itself has its English feels with the pub, the general store, the church and the school buildings all built in 19th century. The motel itself is great with 1 queen and one 1 single bed. I'm not sure about breakfast option, you'd be best to email Jamie he's very responsive and helpful.

Jamberoo Pub and Motel”
Hi We are experencing Jamberoo (and the Water Park) for the 4th consecutive year and it continues to deliver! Jamie, the long-term owner at the Jamberoo Hotel/Motel continues to accommodate our every need with clean, affordable and safe lodging ideal for a young family stay. I recommend the Jamberoo Hotel/Motel to any visitors to the South Coast as a must do location as you wont be disappointed. Regards Angus.

Over My Expectation”
This was the first time for my Mum and I to stay in the pub. The room was very clean and had room service during the time we stayed. The owner and staffs were very friendly and helpful. The location is very close to major attractions (eg. Jamberoo Action Park, Minnamurra Rainforest and Illawarra Tree Top Adventures). The price is reasonable and the service is over my expectation. If you haven't tried to stay in the pub before, I would like to recommend you to try it out and experience it yourself.

Ok stay but very noisy after midnight”
It was an ok place to stay for a night, but it's definitely not suitable for young children and light sleepers because the motel gets noisier after 12am, and it was so loud that majority of us (group of 10) were unable to sleep properly (we booked 3 rooms at upstairs). I suggest the motel owner to take note of this and hopefully control this situation, as I am sure he/she is fully aware of what's on after midnight, but didn't take any action to manage it. If the motel (or pub downstairs i shall say) is meant to be very happening after midnight, I suggest you label your accommodation as not suitable for young children and light sleepers, or only open to accommodate people when you are not as busy after midnight. Thanks.

Saving grace”
After my family and I spent the night sleeping in the car travelling back from the Batemans Bay bush fires we booked a room at Jamboroo. We arrived early and were pleasantly allowed to stay in the room from the early morning hours, after all we had barely slept. The staff are lovely. Very kind and hospitable. And what an interesting pub. A great place for a stopover and close to Kiama, plus the Jamboroo water park. The facilities are basic, albeit run down. Each room had comfortable beds only with towels, side tables and lamps. Separate share bathrooms, therefore not for everyone, but there is a kitchen and open foyer lounge with tv plus open balcony with tables and chairs. No aircon but the room we slept in maintained a relatively good temperature after a 30 degree day, with ceiling fan. An excellent pub with cheap prices and restaurant to match with amazing soccer, nrl and cricket memorabilia. Worth a drop in at least and would definitely go back there for dinner. Thank you!

A little comfortable, cosy and friendly place to make you very relaxed”
It's a pub motel, with the accommodation sitting behind the pub, so we don't hear much noise but very handy to the pub for a drink or meal. It's a comfortable and cosy place with friendly staff, clean & sizeable room and very reasonable price. We have really enjoyed our stay, a great place to relax and unwind

An iconic place to stay! ”
We've stayed at this Motel before, and would have no hesitation to return in the future. It's in a perfect location at Jamberoo, within walking distance of everything. The staff are wonderful, the food & service are great, and it really felt like a ''home=away-from-home'' for us, even though we were there this time for a family funeral.

Stayed 28th thru 30th June 2016”
Great place , very clean , top staff and even terrific locals thrown in . We stayed in the motel part which was as good if not better than any we've stayed in . Dined in the pub for dinner my meal was very good and my wife claims her T bone was best she'd had . All staff great but boss Ross fantastic enjoying an ale with him and his many friends in front of a roaring log fire felt like we were in his own home !Surrounding countryside awesome. Will definitely return and have already highly recommended it to friends. Bill and Sue

Good location”
Was tossing up whether to stay here or another place over in Kiama that was actually cheaper but after reading some poor reviews of the other place chose to stay here instead. We were going to the water park the next day and it’s just down the road from there and only about 10-15 mins back into Kiama for dinner/other attractions such as the blowhole and places to shop, etc. Good for us to stay there though because we had come down from Newcastle to stay and driving straight down to the water park would’ve been a bit of a trek to all do before 10am so was good to make the trip the day before and already be close by the next day. One thing though is that there were no power points by the bed so couldn’t charge our phones and be on them at the same time, had to put them over by the tv or bench to do so and the tv had Netflix available but the wifi was a bit patchy and in the end couldn’t really get it to run properly but we weren’t there for any of those reasons but would’ve been good if it had worked/the power points were closer.

Great Place to Getaway”
We had two nights in one of the Pub's Motel Units, as we needed to attend a family funeral nearby. The Pub is excellent for food, drink & atmosphere, whilst there's a great coffee shop & newsagent next door, and a fabulous IGA store across the road. Perfect!

Good value for money. Though if you are a light sleeper then it's not for you. Sqeaky floors ”
Lovely area. Staff very friendly. Though the pub food was average. Scotch fillet wasn't very good for $28. Was chewy. Wouldn't get it again. You get what you pay for. Was cheap and didn't get very good sleep both nights because you can hear everything, from people going to to toilet to kids running around in the morning. Overall had a good time. But next time I would probably stay in the Motel. Not in the pub rooms

Great for one night stay”
Nice location 5-10 mins from Kiama shops and Blowhole for a quick visit. Illawarra TreeTops nearby for an adventure. IGA grocery store across the road. Beautiful views with cows and mountain farms. Family run, nice friendly staff. Shared kitchen and two shared bathrooms with amenities, nice and clean. No A/C just a fan and window, but was comfortable and not too hot.

Close to Waterpark”
It was a good stay at the pub. Probably slightly overpriced. $65-70 per night would have been more ideal for what was offered as there were only beds in room, an average communal shower with very tricky and sensitive temperature settings as well as a couple of noisy patrons late at night.

Quaint...”
Enjoyed the pub facilities. Motel style accommodation satisfactory. The sink in room 8 has a weird brown stain in the wash bowl!

A very nice stay in the countryside near Kiama!”
To wake up in the middle of the countryside with mountain views and mists is amazing! Pub has really nice food!

Great Pub with stay”
The rooms are up the back a little away from the pub. Still close to hear the noise of happy drinkers but not that bad. Rooms are good, clean and what you pay for. No complaints

Good location for Jamberoo Action Park. Clean tidy rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Floorboards desperately need re-nailing very squeaky.

Old fashioned comfort and hospitality”
Spotlessly clean room with comfortable mattress and plenty of bedding. Bathrooms were also spotless and easily accessed. Even though all of the rooms were booked I didnt encounter anyone else needing the bathrooms at the same time. It is an historic hotel with all the quirks that come with that - squeaky floorboards etc. I loved it. The decor could do with a bit of stylingbut overall I ate well, slept well and enjoyed my night there.
