it was really fun staying @ jamp pension house. we had the chance of getting to know kuya arnel who owns the place and he was really courteous and polite. i recommend staying at his crib when you get a chance to visit palawan. he is just near the places to visit which is one of the things we considered when we rented at his place. besides, they are really one of the cheapest place to stay back in palawan. kudos to all of you!!! god bless always and more power!!!

our stay in jamp pension house is one of my great experience ... the staff is nice and accommodating , their rooms are big especially their bed that can fit eventhough your fat that you can sleep like home. the owner lives in the hotel that he is always there to attend to all the needs of their guest. and they have their affordable price especially in their tours and rooms...

The pension house is new, clean, and with beautiful landscape. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room is clean and the breakfast served were freshly cooked and served with a smile. JAMP is a good place to stay.

Bigger rooms to accommodate group bookings”
-We booked two family rooms for four person and it's big enough to accommodate us... -The rooms were clean -They have nice interior and exterior design -They will also provide you with space in roof top if you want to unwind with friends before you go to bed. -The location is residential area...thus, the place is quiet enough for you to get a good rest... -Booking includes airport pick-up and drop-off and breakfast - 1 hour travel to the underground river - 20 mins travel to honda bay Downside: - Hair dyer, safety box, iron and iron board are not provided -It is located in a residential area (hard to find if you don't have a transport) - Breakfast is not buffet. There's not enough choices for you to make. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at JAMP Pension House. I recommend this place for those who would like to enjoy a comfortable stay in Palawan.

Great Location for budget travelers like us”
Jamp Pension House is new, just opened last July of this year. The rooms were clean( we occupied 3 rooms together with my family and friends), as well as the towels and bed sheets . The staff were all friendly and courteous, especially the owner Arnel, who took us to the nearby souvenir shops for our "pasalubongs". It is very accessible to nearby tourist attractions like Mitra Ranch, Bakers Hill, Crocodile Farm and the pier going to Honda Bay. You can take a tricycle or the small jeepney just around the corner of the Pension House.

We arrived at the airport late in the afternoon and the driver allowed us to stop by a nearby restaurant to have an early dinner before check-in. We did not have to be ready too early in the morning for our Underground River & Honda Bay tours since the location of the pension house to our destination is nearer as compared to accommodations within the city proper. The breakfast included in the booking will suffice until lunch. Tip: Try to schedule to dine at Kalui Restaurant (a highly recommended place by those who have visited Palawan). We were not able to do so at as it is closed on Sundays. JAMP can arrange a reservation for you but the time may be quite late if short notice already.

The pension house is new, clean, and with beautiful landscape. The staff are. Friendly and accommodating. The room is clean and the food served were freshly cooked and served with a smile. If you want to just stay and just relax , this is a good place to stay. This is near the city hall but it will take around 20mins to 30 mins ride if you like to go to the shopping and pasalbong centers. There are many jeepneys nearby, however, if you are in a hurry you take the tricycle ride which will.cost.from 50 to 80 pesos. Its a good place to stay especially going to the underground river, crocodile farm, and irawan ecopark for the route going to the above areas are along the way.

I enjoyed my stay at Jamp. the staff were friendly and willing to help whenever asked. The owners of the establishment were very helpful and friendly too. They even let me try some of their cooking which was very nice. I had no problems or issues during my stay there.

Not highly recommended”
very far from the city, staff does not recommend taking local transport only their own but higher price. Bathroom smells off fume in Room 1 has to close BR door all the time. Staff does clean room daily which is a plus. Pension house offerred city tour package but no tour guide,your on your own but same price as other tour guided package.

Though little far from the city, it is near in the tourist attraction areas like the Bakers Hill, Butterfly Garden and Crocodile Farm.. Felt we were home because we can eat and we ate food that we requested... Ate Lett cooks well and the manager, Arnel, is very accomodating.. You can deal with him easily..

Friendly staff, clean rooms, some rooms are small”
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were the first 'western' people to stay here so an experience for everyone. Mainly caters for Phillippinos. The basic standard room is small, good for a short stay. We stayed a total of five nights and moved to a larger room upstairs but the bed was still small for two people. Maybe opt for the queen size beds if this suits. Rooms were very clean with air con and TV. Breakfast is really basic and the staff call you for breaky even if your not ready for it. It's already on the table waiting so was usually cold by the time we got upstairs to eat it. It's a new guesthouse do construction work is still happening. It's also a bit of a way from main town with not a lot of options for eating. The staff will arrange day tours, mini vans etc which pick you up at the guesthouse. We hired a motor bike from in town and toured ourselves around. You can ask the staff to cook dinner also but was a bit pricey if your a budget traveller. There is security on the premises. All in all it was Ok.

The hotel is too far from the city”
I cut my stay by two days due to difficulty to travel from JAMP. Too far from the city and difficulty to buy food for lunch and dinner. The transport system is also a problem cause the tricycle can charge highly just to go to city proper. The water system is also poor. I got to request hot water to take bath at the counter.

A bit far from the town”
Our stay was okay but I wouldn't recommend it. Amenities were okay but we didn't feel welcome. Got scolded by one of the hotel staff because of a mix up in schedules. I was too surprised to make a fuss. Water leaked from the pipes on our last day and the staff assumed it was our fault. This was my eperience as part of the group staying on the 2nd floor. My companions who stayed on the ground floor told me their stay was okay. We were just unlucky with the bad experience I guess.

Lovely place”
The place was relatively new, so the facilities were great. People working there are friendly and make you feel very much welcome. Place was a bit far from the city though (about 10-15 mins), but public transportation wasn't a problem. Ideal if you are looking for a quiet spot, away from loud music. Roofdeck view was awesome.
