Great Value, Great Food, Great Stay”
My boyfriend and I stayed here for several nights and had a wonderful stay. Gai (the owner's name is not actually Jane!) is an awesome host. She's fun, respectful and very friendly. She's also a great cook and offers a variety of Western style and local foods for breakfast. The place is kept very clean, and she keeps the door locked at night so you feel very safe. Jane's House is just a couple blocks walk from the Northern Gate of the old town, so you're out of the hustle & bustle of traffic but close enough to all local spots. This place is a great value! We will stay here again the next time we're in Chiang Mai.

Wonderful host, spacious room”
The room is very spacious and the host is extremely polite and nice. Delicately made breakfast featuring local dishes with variety for each day we stayed and they are tasty and healthy. Quiet location compared to other places near the old town. Very easy access to old town and convenient for hauling taxi for farther trips. Close to a nice massage shop. There is a very good juice stand with the best fresh juice in town as we hit closer to old town. Night food stand is within minutes' walk. All in all very good place to stay.

Friendly Thai home”
Cleanliness, safety, location
The room is big and spotless. I feel it was like staying in a normal Thai house, but it is not in a residential area. It's in a commercial area with many computer shops nearby and a few guesthouses, which was a little strange, but it was near the main road and at night it felt safe and there were no stray dogs. It was easy to walk to the Old City and to Kad Suan Kaew Shopping Center and also to Chiang Mai Ram hospital. It was very safe and I felt comfortable to leave valuables in the room. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was OK; the coffee was excellent. The owner is extremely friendly. However, I didn't feel much choice but to eat whatever she placed in front of me for breakfast, and I would have preferred to choose.

Jane's House is my home in Chiang Mai.”
1. It's clean and spacious. The old city is just across the road but you can still enjoy the quiet and cosy asmosphere of the city. 2. Gai , the host is a knowledgable lady who serves us with heart.
It was the first time I went to Chiang Mai and I planned to stay 4 weeks. Therefore a good host is really important to get me into the local -food, culture, people, religion etc. Gai , the host of Jane's House, is the best I have expected for. Everyday she fueled me up with delicious breakfast with Thai and Western food. And please don't miss the coffee and Thai tea. The room is spacious in this price range with its own bathroom and toilet, air- conditioner and fridge. Gai keeps the house spotless clean. You will have your own key and the front door key. And the guest house is always quiet because the front door is always closed. Only Gai and the house guests can enter. In the same lane there is a Japanese restaurant and a famous retaurant called Three little Pigs. And there is a night food market in about 5 mins walk. Convinence stores are in 5 mins walk also. If you need recommendation of activities, ask Gai. If you need help arranging activities, ask Gai. That's we always did when we stayed Jane's House. Now I understand why Gai is so thin! Gai, thank you so much for your heartful breakfast and you make Jane's House my warmest home in Chiang Mai and you are my dearest sister.
