Perfect Chiang Mai home!
I've stayed in Chiang Mai before, in other hotels, but didn't love them so picked this one for my latest trip, with my girlfriend, and my mom, who was coming to visit us from Canada. It was the perfect choice! We stayed for 4 lovely nights. They gave us rooms across from one another (108 for my mom, which had a little balcony she could smoke on) and 107 for us (super nice, great bathroom - I recommend requesting this one!). The decor was so charming and authentic, bed was so comfy, and there were little bonuses like a mini fridge in the room. Loads of space, really quiet, and perfect location in the middle of the old city square meant it was easily accessible to everything. The price was really great value as well! The staff were very friendly and kind, and breakfast every morning was quite good - choice of eggs + toast, fruit + yogurt, etc.. The coffee was great! They also made us breakfast early one morning when we were leaving earlier than their breakfast time. I really loved it here and would absolutely pick this hotel again the next time I visit Chiang Mai! A+++!

Nice boutique hotel but not the night shift staff
nice hotel with thai style decoration in room. same as the photos shown. room are big enough for us. request for an early breakfast in evening because we take a day tour to chiangrai that depart on 7am, but the staff refuse for our request in impolite way. morning shift staffs are helpful that prepare some toast and fruits for us in the next morning upon our request. overall was good stay, just the bad attitude night shift staff.

Nice but very noisy
Room was good except Jangmuang Boutique House's clientele are mostly Chinese. I stayed 11 nights and was kept awake most nights by screaming girls, kids or loud obnoxious Chinese men. Breakfast was good, and the staff were nice. I have stayed at other places inside the old city which are far quieter.

Nice place to stay
The room was large with 2queen beds in it. Comfortable beds and reliable air on. Wifi was hit and miss in the room. When it worked it was fairly fast. It always worked in the common area. Staff were nice and the breakfast was eggs toast fruit yogurt and coffee or tea. The fruit and yogurt definitely made it better than most come with the room offerings. The rooms were a bit dark and it was a good 20 minute walk to the night market but the positives definitely outweighed this. I would stay again. Oh and there was sitting available on the veranda outside the room.
