The room is soooooo clean! The bed is soooooooooo comfy! The building is secured and you can have a peace of mind for your safety 100% definetly will stay again if we will visit Kyoto once again. Perfect for traveler who will visit Gion Street at night! There’s a nearby Mini Stop you can buy food and drinks Well so far almost walking distance to 2-4 attractions (if you love walking) in Kyoto

Pleasant stay at hotel”
Facilities in room ( washing machine, kettle and microwave oven) were an added bonus. Easy to dry clothes cos toilet had heater. Convenient and close to station. Very clean rooms. I like the toilet as it is very clean. Room is spacious enough for Japan standard. Stayed 5 nights and was pleased with my choice.

Exceptional”
We stayed here with our two kids, 10 & 13. The room was spacious enough to accommodate the four of us. The washing machine was very handy. There's a Yoshinoya restaurant around the corner which we ate at a couple of times for breakfast, they open at 8 am. There's also a McDonald's across the street from Yoshinoya. There's a really popular Soba noodle restaurant a block away. On New Year's Eve there were probably 50 or more people in line trying to get in. We used Kyoto as our base and also traveled to Osaka and Hiroshima. This location was quite convenient to get around. The walk from downtown Kyoto to the hotel was around 20 minutes. The room was very clean. There isn't someone at the desk at all hours. I think the front is only staffed from 9am-10pm. This place was very good value and I would stay here again.

Exceptional”
I like this hotel or I would say is a great apartment unit where you have all the essential thing - washing machine, stove, microwave, dryer, enough numbers of toilet rolls and tissue boxes, hangers. It also has a sliding door to separate the kitchenette and bedroom. It was about 10 mins walk from the subway station. Eateries, convenience store and numbers of vending machine available along the way to the hotel. I would highly recommend to stay in this place whenever you visit to Kyoto.

Amazing room”
It was just 15mins walk from the train station. and accessible to most of the location with bus and train. Room was pretty big and clean. Simple check in process and convenience store is just opposite the hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near Gojo subway station. Lots of restaurants and grocery store fresco close by. Quiet street. Big room and fully equipped kitchen. Washer in the room and shower room has special setup to be used as a dryer. Would be great for a long term stay.

Surprisingly spacious for the accommodation in Japan. It has washing machine and the toilet as dryer at night to dry your washed clothes. The location is also superb. I will definitely come back to this hotel next round in Kyoto.

A very great place”
We stayed here 4 nights wity 2 young children. This is like a studio, with everything included. Great location. 2 minutes walk from Gojo station and restaurants and mini-marts around. Friendly and helpful staff Highly recommended!!!

We were so glad to have stayed at Japan Hotels Gojo-Muromachi in Kyoto! The room is well-appointed, bigger than what we expected and super clean! It's near a train station and also accessible for bus trips. We were able to visit a couple of amazing tourist spots and quaint places during our stay. There's so much more to explore in Kyoto, a lovely place, and will definitely stay in this hotel again. Highly recommended!

Clean and Big family room”
The family room is huge and comfy, good facilities and umbrella could be rented for guest. Very near to train station. Some restaurants nearby at reasonable price. Many buses from kyoto station to hotel. My family enjoy very much.

Big Room, Nice Location”
It is around 5 minutes walk from hotel to station, very near, receptionist can speak fluent english. Room is big, Bed is comfy, comes with Free Phone that u can bring out, Small Kitchen and Washing Machine. Definitely will stay here again.

Very nice place to stay in Kyoto”
The hotel is very near to Gojo station, around few minutes walk. It’s also very near to bus station by which we can go to many tourist spots. We lived in a double room. The room is spacious and clean. Staff at the front desk were very kind. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I travel in Kyoto.

Strategic Location & Spacious Room”
This place is located strategically at central which is just one station away from Kyoto station. Just 2 minutes walk from Gojo Station exit. I arrived before 12PM and they allowed me to check-in early without any additional charge. Truly appreciate it! Staffs are friendly and helpful. This is not a hotel room but a studio room like AirBnB style so don't expect daily housekeeping with breakfast. The room is spacious in terms of Japanese standard size. There is a door to separate the kitchen and bathroom. Room amenities is superb which include all the toiletries, washing machine, microwave, fridge and kitchen (cooking utensils on rental). I love the layout and the single bed is huge & comfortable. Extra pillow is provided upon request (if available). You can't walk to all the attractions but you can just take the subway (easy accessible). There is a 24 hours convenience store in front of this hotel. This place is located on the small alley but it is safe. I will come back again! TQ

We loved that it was really close to the subway station. There’s a couple of restaurants nearby as well. We also appreciated the fact that this is more than just a hotel room but similar to a service apartment. We were able to use the washing machine without any difficulty. Laundry soap is provided. Instructions were very clear for washing machine and dryer. There’s also a smartphone you can borrow which you can use during your stay.

It's more like a apartment with even stoves (you can rent the kitchen utensils), it's rather spacious compared to usual Japanese hotels. Can't ask for more for this price. Great to have washing machine in the room as I stayed for 5 nights. Concerning the location, the subway station is not exactly close to touristy area so you need to take the bus every day, unless you're not too tired to walk for another 20 minutes (or more) home after whole day of sightseeing.
