Still great value”
I have stayed at the Jasmine City Hotel on three occasions now and each time it has ticked every box for me. Quiet. Great location near both rail networks. Spotlessly clean. Very polite and helpful staff. I will certainly try to stay again. My only complaint and this goes for virtually all hotels in Bangkok and Hong Kong is the huge range of prices quoted. You can book a room in hotels in these two cities and then see the same rooms advertised a month or two later for a half or third of what you have paid. The reverse can of course also apply. What frustrates me most is there is no 100% logic. Prices can vary enormously within high or low seasons as well as between them. I find it a great waste of time having to "shop around" for deals.
ALWAYS A PLEASURE”
Always a pleasure staying at the Jasmine City Hotel. Very convenient location with everything Bangkok has to offer close by. There's restaurants, convenient store, pharmacy, hair salon, office supply shop and local items for sale within the hotel complex. Entertainment options are close by as well as public transport via the Asoke / Sukhumvit intersection BTS and MRT station. The rooms are very well maintained, the swimming pool is nice and breakfast options good. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. We will return.
Great value for money in a good location”
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I wish that I stayed here when I returned to Bangkok (I stayed in Bangkok at the Jasmine hotel for 3 nights, then visited Chaing Mai for 3 nights, then returned to Bangkok for another 3 nights). The hotel I stayed at the second time (Presidential Solitaire - see my review) was terrible and I should have come back to the Jasmine hotel. The room was spacious and immaculate. There is free internet in the lobby (a huge bonus considering other hotels charge extortionately high prices to use the internet). The staff are helpful (except one lobby boy who seemed to be condescending towards me when I checked out). The location of the hotel is very good.
Had a Great Stay!”
Quiet and peaceful for being located on a main road in central BKK. Was surprise upgraded to a Jacuzzi Suite (WOW!). Staff was very professional and extremely polite. Hotel and room were very clean. Fitness room was of a decent size and equipment offering. Breakfast buffet was a sufficient offering of your typical mix of Western and Asian food. Eggs were cooked to order … loved their omelets! Other: The Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the main bldg. offers pizza slices to-go from their walk-up window (located next to the Subway Sandwich shop). We didn’t try the other restaurants on-site as we actually spent little time at the hotel except to rest/sleep. Excellent value at off-season booking rate. The subway (MRT Sukhumvit Station) is one block to the west with the entrance being on the ground floor (west side) of the “Interchange 21” bldg. (not to be confused with “Terminal 21” across Asoke Rd.). The BTS Skytrain (BTS Asoke Station) is just beyond the MRT -- can't miss it! Jasmine City is in an excellent, convenient location for getting around town. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and have already booked a future stay.
an oasis”
With its mini-mall downstairs, lobby upstairs, sweeping views of the city and Bangkok's wildest bar scene literally across the street, the Jasmine Suites has to be my favorite hotel in Bangkok. The pool is kept bracingly cold - which is perfect in the heat & humidity capital of the world. The service here is punctual and efficient. Rooms are wide, spacious, well designed and laid out. You can enjoy a hot bath while looking out at the entire city (if the mood strikes you). The buffet looked better than most - but really, just walking down the street will bring you some of Bangkok's finest, so I never had more than coffee there. Pillows were comfortable. Bed was great. Well-equipped kitchen. Housekeeping especially helpful and fastidious. Subway and Sky Train stations within a block. And bottom line, with some of their great special rates online, you get a true 4-star hotel that's more like home - at about a third the price of some of its sterile, "name brand" counterparts. And you get it without all the frou-frou affectations of the so-called "boutique" hotels that are little more than "capsule" hotels.
Melt away the Caos with million $$ bath time views”
You will be contnted on your choice of hotels with Jasmine suites. Very close to MRT and Asok BTS, 50 meters from the main road. Swimming pool and spa area with sauna in the ladies change room, i guess theres one in the mens changing room. the gym is quite large and well equipped although in the next building is a californa gym that will encourage even the laziest of us. The hotel staff were great after a few communication difficulties not enough staff speak english. The restaraunt provides excellent food at a great price. set breakfast can be purcashed for 300Baht, internet in the room is 350Baht a day. There are two computers in the lobby free and free wireless in the lobby and pool area. The pool is small but adequate. I have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok this is one of the best for price location and stars. The ensuites both have huge baths with floor to ceiling windows and a great view over the city. We had a great stay and will come again.
In Bangkok.. the Jasmine is my choice”
When choosing hotels, I, like many of you, read the reviews to get an idea of the feelings and experiences people may have had with the particular property. I can usually weed out the flaky reveiws from people that are just not happy with anything, no matter what. I like a review that is honest, open and observant with real realistic opinions. I have stayed at several hotels in my last 10 years of coming to Bangkok. And, many of the hotels have been outstanding. But here is why I stay at the Jasmine. Location. The Jasmine is very accessible to the MRT( underground) and the BTS ( skytrain). As you know, Bangkok is a walking city! The location of the Jasmine is ideal as you cross the street, cut through the air conditioned Exchange building..come out and immediately go down the escalator to the MRT and BTS. Simple and easy! Entertainment. Just steps away from the famous Soi Cowboy. I do love walking through the Cowboy to see the beautiful sexy women and if I desire to have their company, the Jasmine is close by and the hotel is open to you bringing up company for both short or long time. Accomodations. The rooms are large and the a/c is cold. Something that you will appreciate as Bangkok has two kinds of seasons. Hot and Hot !! I stayed most of the time in the connecting building which houses the workout room. The lobby is located on the 10th floor. The bed is very comfortable with the showers seperated from the bedroom by steps. They could use thicker towels ..but its adequate. TV has channels that accomodate English, Thai, Chinese and japanese. They even have a channel that allows you to watch the front desk workers..hmm .. Why some genius thought of that , I can only guess! Bathroom has tub and shower but no shower door, so water sometimes can get the outside floor wet. Again , no big deal. Front desk people are friendly but again , it depends on who you are talking to. Great hotel for the price.
Great location”
i am a regular traveller through bangkok spending about 6 nights in town every 6 weeks. jasmine is currently me hotel of choice and i have stayed in many. what i look for is location and price. my tastes run to 4 star rating generally. this hotel is well located on sukhumvit soi 23 right near sukhumvit road. very handy to bts and mrt. rooms are very comfortable, big bed. the rooms also have a desk, work station with plenty of power points, very handy for me. one point though is that on the two occasions i have stayed at this hotel, the hot water, which comes from instant heaters kept changing temperature which i found annoying. breakfast is ok, but seems to be weighted to the tastes of japanese more so than european, however there is plenty to choose from.
My Favorite Hotel In This Area”
I have stayed at Jasmine Executive Suites more than a dozen times in the past few years. I am never disappointed. For the price, you will not find a nicer hotel in this great location. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious. All rooms are suites, and I almost always get a complimentary upgrade to a category above what I book on Agoda. The location is in the heart of Bangkok, and the absolute best for nightlife. Soi Cowboy is just across the street, and the lesser-known Soi 22 is just across Sukhumvit Road. This hotel is located very close to the BTS (Sky Train) and the underground, and there are always numerous taxis to be found just outside.
A Treasure”
I visit Bangkok 5 to 6 times a year and tried many hotels, Suk is the place to stay. Its accessable to everywhere. Jasmine suites is value for money, the room size and quality will suprise you. The Sky train is just up the street a 5 minute stroll, the underground train 4 min stroll, the staff are helpful although english is limited. The security positioned at the front of the hotel are friendly and helpful. Take advise from a value for money hotel junkie check out the best rates and visit Jasmine suites. I have stayed in a two bedroom with my mum on a previous trip the 2 br apartment is huge great if you want your own space. Both rooms have an ensuite conected by a lounge/dining/kitchen area. You can cook from home with a fully equiped kitchen why would you this is Bangkok. The tub is a super soaker lay back an enjoy the night lights of Bangkok.
Great service, comfortable stay and near Asok BTS”
The service was good.(1) They upgraded us to Executive Jacuzzi Suite with no additional charge as the room we booked was not available. (2) We requested for LAN cable which was quickly delivered to us within 5 minutes. (3) The staff is friendly when we asked for directions. It's well located. Instead of taking the taxi from airport, which cost 400 baht, we took the airport rail link to Makkasan (~30min/ 35 baht), walk about 5min to take the MRT to Sukhumvit which is one station away only. At Sukhumvit MRT, it is connected to Asok BTS. At Asok BTS, look for Exit 6 to Exchange Tower and further down you will reach the Jasmine City Hotel (3-5min). Also if you Google map, Manually type in the address or type "Jasmine City Building" for correct location. else, it may lead you to Jasmine Executive suite which is the Incorrect address (though i see "Jasmine Executive suite" around the hotel doors etc). Swimming pool is until 9PM and Gym is 24 hours if you need to exercise after too many delicious and sweet meals. There are a few restaurants at Jasmine City Building and I'll recommend the Japanese Ramen restaurant Tonkotsu Kazan 豚骨火山. very good soup base and very generous with the chasu. we were very full with the Small ramen. Their desserts and smoothies are good too. If i go BKK, I'll go back Jasmine City Hotel again.
Great value in excellent location”
I have just spent 5 nights at the Jasmine city Hotel and could not be more satisfied. Located only a couple of hundred metres from both train systems. [Sukhumvit and Asok stations]. The staff were helpful, the room and bathroom spacious and clean. Restaurants of all types and quality nearby. The only negative is that it is very neat the sleazy Soi Cowboy. You just learn to ignore that
Great Location”
From check-in to check-out, the staff were 100% top notch. Ann at the Front Desk was superb. The rooms and property are well equiped making for a relaxing stay. I had previously stayed at nearby properties, but was recommended by a friend to try the Jasmine City. Glad I tried it. The Jasmine City is my new Sukhumvit hotel of choice.
Can't say enough good things...”
i really can't say enough good things about this hotel. it is fantastic! during a 30-day trip to thailand, i used bangkok as a central location and made several short trips from there. jasmine executive suites was the second hotel i used in bangkok during this trip. after my first stay, i cancelled my other hotels and booked rooms at jasmine executive suites for each time that i would return to bangkok. the staff is great- on the second and third time i returned here they recognized me and greeted me with "welcome home!"
My Stay at Jasmine Executive Suites”
I had a very comfortable stay at the Jasmine Suites. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is excellent for the solo traveler wanting to experience the Bangkok nightlife and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping options within walking distance. The hotel is guest friendly and the maids will service your room late in the day if like me you are a night owl. Negative points are no free internet int he rooms (350bht per day) but the lobby has complimentary internet. The pool is in a poor location and offers zero privacy as it is right next to the lobby with many people coming and going. However, if you are considering a hotel for location, you can't go wrong with Jasmine Executive Suites.
Very satisfied.”
Second time at this hotel. Again, very happy. Good value. Safe and very comfortable place to stay in what some will think is a great location but which others will feel can be challenging. (What I mean is, you wouldn't want to bring your 90 year old auntie to Sukhumvit Soi 23!) Will definitely stay at Jasmine City again next time; as long as the price is right.
Jasmine Jaunt”
We reserved the Jasmine Hotel on the recommendation of a friend even though we usually stay at the Conrad Hilton Hotel. We found the Jasmine to be much more convenient to the BTS and train stations. Plus, there were numerous foot massage venues right around the corner of the Jasmine. There were nice pubs and restaurants nearby too; so, grabbing a quick bite to eat was very simple. One annoying aspect of the Jasmine was the fact that they charged us approximately $5.00 (US) for a small dingy, white face towel that we put blue pen ink on. This spot could have easily been removed by bleach. While on the topic of spots, the hallway carpets could have been cleaned better as they were quite stained. The benefits of the price and location of the Jasmine far outweighs any negative aspects of the hotel! We will definitely return to the Jasmine.
Fantastic position and good value”
I have stayed at the Jasmine City Hotel five or six times now and have been more than happy each time I stay. I would have stayed even more except that the hotel is often booked out! The excellent position is a close walk to both rail systems, restaurants and anything else you could require. The pool is pleasant and clean, staff helpful and polite, the breakfasts excellent and the rooms comfortable and spacious. I will certainly return to this hotel vacancies permittting.
Superior Hotel Experience”
I tend to stay at boutique hotels in Bangkok and change hotels every few days. This is my 2nd time staying at the Jasmine City Hotel and it wont be my last. I enjoy only having a 1 minute walk to Soi Cowboy. The rooms are large and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the linens are crisp. The WiFi was fast and reliable. In the bathroom, there is a raised tub/shower that I cannot understand the design. The tub has a lip that sits on top of the decking so any water that ends up on the tub deck runs down and across the floor to the drain on the other side of the bathroom like a little river. Hotel lobby is on 7th floor. Breakfast buffet is adequate with a mix of western and Asian dishes. Great city views.
two bedroom dynamite”
I visit Bangkok every 6 weeks, this was my first time at Jasmine Suites as my mother was travelling with me and i wanted a 2 bedroom apartment. Each bedroom had its own large ensuite the rooms were roomy with couch and desk. the bedrooms were linked with a small kitchen and louge meals area. very roomy if you had kids perfect you can get away from them. The floor to ceiling windows in the bathroom give you great views of the city while soaking in the bath. The kitchen is well equiped if you want to prepare your own meals but this is bangkok who wants to cook. BTS short stroll, Californa gym next door, rooms very clean and well apointed. Breakfast is great and cheap. Pharmacy right outside the door, just around the corner great shop for prescription glasses. Truely a gem.
