      OK but with reservations
Peaceful countryside location, view from the lodge veranda, cooking
The welcome was very good. The lodge was lovely with the large veranda and outdoor seating. Inside was disappointing. The decor was traditional and OK but the devil was in the detail. The sofa in the lounge was very uncomfortable, the DVD player did not work (although Paul replaced it on asking) and the TV(old CRT) remote didn't work. As we were the only guests I expected these things to have been checked. The shelf that supported the sink in the wash area was loose so I dare not lean on it. The shower over the bath sprayed everywhere including the side slab and the floor which meant everything got wet making the floor very slippery. The shower head was set at about 4'6" making showering difficult. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon in the bedroom very welcome. There is not very much storage space in the bedroom so most of our clothes stayed in our cases. There's nothing wrong with traditional but the interior seemed dated and is in need of a revamp. The pool area next to reception is very nice as is the reception building where meals are also taken. The meals are reasonable and delicious and this was a highlight of our stay. The two biggest factors are it's remote location and the mosquitos . The biggest issue however are mosquitoes. Beyond the control of the hotel but must taken into account. After one evening on the veranda with much repellant, we never repeated it as we were bitten numerous times. Overall if you want a quiet, remote hotel with good food and are not bothered by mosquitoes then this is a good reasonable, no frills hotel.

      Comfortable, Peaceful, Fun
Dolly & Paul, Lounge/ Restaurant, Quiet
Dolly & Paul made our stay at Jasmine Hills, Paul collected us late from the train station and drove us back to the lodge, stopping for take away en route. The room was very comfortable, with beautiful furnishings and linen, great thai style bed and fridge / tea & coffee. The bathroom was a little small for my partner and we seemed to flood the bathroom every time we showered but there was an outside shower, it was just a little cold at that time of year. At night it was very quiet but at 5am every morning we were woken by the monks call to prayer, we didn't mind but if you want to lie in this may not be the place. The breakfast room was huge, with very high ceilings and again beautiful furnishings, breakfast was light but delicious, they offered 3 choices. The pool area was lovely but it was a little chilly to swim at that time of year. We used the bikes and rode into town, there is a great restaurant called Mr Esan's which is worth a visit. Dolly also assisted with car rental which was appreciated. Overall, it was Dolly & Paul that made our stay, Dolly is so funny and has lots of fun, interesting stories. I'd like to visit again.

Comfy bed and good for relax a bit out of town
      Clean, quiet and good value
If you need to relax this hotel is your answer. My room was awesome. I opened up at the door and sit at the balcony in front of my room I can see big porn and also view of the temple on the mountain. Room was nice and comfy bed. But the location was a bit hard to find at google map so you need to call at the hotel to help so don't worry about language because all staffs can speak English fluently. Some from Malaysia. And if you need to go in town that's not far it's just about 15 km. they have bicycle for you to borrow fore free at the resort if you have no car. Well! I definitely will go again.
