A perfect homestay location in Ubud.”
We stayed at Jati Homestay for 3 nights. Unique traditional bamboo room with rattan walls, ceiling, cozy balcony overlooking the green area, spacious room, good breakfast, hot shower, fan(no air-cond) friendly owner(Dewa) and staff, 10 minutes walk to Ubud Market, Royal Palace, 7 mins walk to Bebek Bengil & cafes and restaurants. Basically all are within walking distance. We would highly recommend this place.

Lovely place in rural garden in city center.”
Nice and quiet place away from the crowds. Spacious room and bathroom with tub. A little dark though. Breakfast looks very nice but portions are small. Service is great, most of the servants speak English.

A quiet place in the heart of the city”
    Quiet, friendly staff, good breakfast
My friend and I stayed for 8 nights and we loved it. The room was big and comfortable. We had a private balcony with a view on a green field. As the homestay is located at the end of a tiny alley, it is really quiet. The bamboo walls are a bit thin so you may sometimes hear your neighbours but everybody was respectful enough not too be too noisy. The staff was extremely pleasant, friendly and attentive to our needs. We had a great stay there.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff and near to Ubud Palace
The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and clean. It will be a good place to stay if you don't have much budget. The homestay is near to Ubud Palace and Ubud Market. The homestay also provides daily tour with a reasonable price.

Overall not terrible but there was holes in the mosquito net and the bathrooms are pretty atrocious. We stayed just night as we made our way back down the island, okay for 1 night but anything more and I recommend shelling out a bit more money and getting something better

    Comfortable and friendly homestay”
Simple family run homestay - not fancy, but has what you need - clean bed, hot shower and nice quiet view of natural green area (used to be paddy but not being used anymore) our room was only fan but the design of the large screen windows kept us cool. cons: our bathroom could've been much cleaner and due to the traditional building style the rooms are not soundproof at all. Also for me the lighting was extremely dim, another lamp or two would be awesome. Otherwise location is fantastic and the staff were all very friendly !

    Loved our stay. ”
My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. The staff is amazing. Ketut and Koman went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They taught us many words in Balinese. Mr. Jati, the owner, is a talented artist. His son, Dewa, had a pleasant conversation with us one afternoon. The room was clean. The garden lovely. The place peaceful and the breakfast was good. The location was close to everything. Ketut and Koman speak Spanish and French as well as English. The rest of the staff was also pleasant and we were greeted with a smile and a how are you every time. The only complaint I can think of is that there aren't any window panes, so you can hear your neighbors if they're speaking on the porch. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it.

    Great room with great view.”
When we were searching for this homestay it was a bit strange as you had to enter an alley and into what seemed like peoples front yard where they are cooking or doing laundry. But you must pass these nice and welcoming people and you will be guided to Jati Homestay. You would think youre in the back of an alley but the homestay faces a beautiful lush rice field. This is straight out of Eat Pray Love, really. It's an incredible view. The room was nice, and the breakfast was great too! We used recommended tours and loved them.

We loved staying at Jati Homestay. Very beautiful room with a cozy balcony surrounded with nature. Central location but still quite and peaceful, like a oasis in town. Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. We will stay here next time we come to Ubud for sure! Thank you Jati Homestay for all your help :) Michaela and Denny

We really enjoyed our stay and the owner and his wife are very friendly. The rooms were nice as well, shower was hot, garden was pretty.. only the breakfast could have been a little bit more :) and there is a massive radiotower just above your head. But it is sitting right in the middle of this village, so no way avoiding it anyway!

I will always stay at Jati when I'm visiting Ubud. Dewa the owner of Jati makes the stay safe and familiar. Quiet and homely, Jati is located on Jalan Hanoman which is a great location to start out to everywhere in Ubud. Daily breakfast is always a delight!

our second time in Jati Homestay”
We decided to go back to Ubud after 8 years and chose to stay here again. Everything was like before, apart for staff change but this is absolutely normal! The position is great, as you're at a walking distance from any attraction in Ubud. We also had the opportunity to stay in the brand new Jati Cottages, where accommodations are more like modern rooms, there is also a swimming pool. The place is fantastic and staff always friendly and dedicated.

    Jati homestay”
Staff are very friendly, rooms liok exactly like in the pictures, it's near the main attractions of ubud but when you reach jati, it feels like your in a rural setting cause of the peace and quiet
ok, but the walls were thin and the locks are dubious,we can't even lock the door to the toilet.but its clean and we just slept there so it was fine for it's price.no airconditioning on our room, but i'm from asia so i'm used to the weather, plus it was october and it wasn't as hot at nights. And i don't remember if the ad said with or without ac. No sufficient lighting in the room, don't know if it's to add ambiance. Lot's of space though and it's very quiet and peaceful once you're there despite being very near the main attractions of ubud. Staff are (is? I only saw 1 person as the receptionist, server, cook) very helpful and friendly, always with a smile and unending patience with the multitude of questions we had.they even give out a map of ubud with the tourist highlights so a plus there. Overall, the negative comments above are more of an inconvenience you can work around and with the price that they're asking, there really is no need to set your expectations too high.

It was a very good experience staying in Jati. Though the water heater was broken during one day of our stay but it changed not a bit of how we like the home stay and we will surely choose it again if visiting Ubud again.

Close to the center of town (Coco Mart), tub with HOT WATER
One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed out during my time in Bali. They didn't have availability for me to stay an extra night, so I moved into Ganesha Inn down the street (on Hanoman) which is also gorgeous and might be a little cheaper. It was so nice to relax in a tub with amazingly hot water, and the staff was great.
