I have been here numerous times and always been happy. Best value money wise in the city almost always. No internet in the rooms but if you have mobile Hotspot on your phone that is no problem if you want to use a computer. Most of the rooms have a table with one chair for use with a computer.

Jazz on The Park is my first choice ”
I have a home on Long Island but sometimes find that commute a pain. (My helicopter is in need of repairs!) and so, given I am not one who needs to have a grand place upon which to place my head upon a pillow? I wholeheartedly recommend that you consider Jazz. The boys and girls on the front desk are intelligent and will make sure that you are fine and dandy.

Great Hostel”
This was a great stay! We had too much luggage and so asked if we could have a different room for more privacy, and they were so kind and accommodating and switched us out. The rooms were kept very warm so there was no worries of getting cold. Would definitely recommend this place!

Exceptional”
I enjoy staying at this location when need be, the front desk staff is respectful and understanding. They give you clean sheets and warm blanket for you stay. The housekeeping is exceptional, a nice lady comes and changes the garbages and sheats. The showers are public but remain clean and smell like bleach which is a plus mid covid. I'd definitely recommend this place to someone traveling to New York or just looking for a warm place to stay for a night.

Marvelous value for NYC! ”
The rooms aren't big, there are bunk beds in each - as far as I am aware - but the price is almost, if not impossible to beat. There is no WiFi in the rooms so make sure you have a mobile Hotspot on your phone. Aside from that I have no complaints. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. If what you are looking for is an inexpensive place to hang your hat and use as a base of operations and shared bathrooms don't scare you. You won't be disappointed

Excellent stay, only one issue”
The place it is located is close to a metro station, and right next to Central Park, which is pretty awesome. Plus, nearby there are several grocery stores and cheap restaurants to enjoy. I arrived during one of the coldest days in winter, but had a heater was turned up so high that breathing almost hurt. We asked to turn it down a notch, but we were told that, because the heater control works for all the building, it would probably make another customer uncomfortable because of the cold. Had to open the window, and even with the window opened and the AC on, the room was still very hot. Didn't have the best night, but the following night wasn't so unbearable.
