Love the spacious room but poor TV signal. Room need to be upgrade - room looks old-fashioned & need a make over. Door looks old, not secure & doesn't have privacy seems don't have a manual lock.

If you're Not particular if the room looks scary, pipe in toilet is brown in colour, hot shower is not hot, bidet problem after you take a dump. Then for the cost, I can say that it will be good for you.

Reconsider other hotel”
Old hotel with old amenities. Our door was opened by the housekeeper while we were still inside. No knocks and so on. Breakfast was average. The room and carpet a bit smelly and dusty. Nice view from our room. Bear in mind, NO WIFI PROVIDED IN ROOMS. And lastly, youre looking for hotel to rest, kindly refresh agoda page many many times before you book this hotel. A lot of other hotel better than this.

Not recommended for further stay”
Rm no 1910 1) most facilities are not working 2) check in - card cannot open the door and ask for maintenance and found being locked inside , door handle out of alignment, cannot open door from inside. 3) Air con not cold at all 4) The shower not working , only drips of water flowing from the shower head, I reported at 2 am as i am back from my appt , receptionist can only ask to switch room, I rejected as i am too tired to shift room 2 plus in the morning.

Pros: Location is very good; right next to Johor City Square mall. Lots of eateries around the hotel and the mamak coffeeshop opens 24/7. I booked for one night (which is more than what I can handle) Cons: My booking is two rooms connected to each other. My room's aircon was not functioning while the other room's aircon was fine. Called the front desk, they sent up a maintenance guy only to have him shrug that there's nothing he can do because the aircon is spoilt. Great. Fresh towels were not available in both rooms; had to call the front desk again for the request. They were swift in sending housekeeping for our towels though. I swear my room with the spoilt aircon is haunted. I felt a presence that was not necessarily evil but it was definitely lurking at the connecting door. Front desk had 3 staff who is hardworking and is very busy. This, I will credit as I checked in late around 4plus in the afternoon and it was still quite busy.

Budget with no quality”
For a budget hotel, i would expect at least even a decent level of standards for the room. But the room given to me failed even the most basic of expectations. Clean towels? I found 2 bunched up towels thrown on a rack in the toilet, do i dare to use it? No. I asked for two new ones promptly. Bedsheets? I cant tell if it was really changed, or that suspicious looking blood stain on it is how old, and with cigarette burn holes too. Felt itchy lying down on the bed. Soap dispenser was broken. I expected to get at least a decent shower and a clean bed from my stay, none of that was fulfilled. On checkout, mentioned it to the reception staff, was told nicely to write up in agoda about my complaints to get the attention of the management which i am doing so now. I dont know if anything will improve as i am not heading there anymore.

Was trapped at JB customs due to the long queue, thus searched for accommodation nearby. It’s just beside city square. Basic toiletries are provided, good enough for a night’s stay. The whole place is old, carpet is dirty, bedsheets are stained. Will not recommend for those on holiday and need better facilities.

Not advised for family with kids. More for adventurer traveller as the hotel look huanted. The long walkway to your room is so eerie. Don't expect the room to very clean. Just the basic need. Old furniture, antique tv with poor signal and no 'WIFI'. Overall, it still better staying in a hostel. Surround with good foods.

Good location but terrible hotel condition”
The location is good as it is just beside City Square. However, the room conditions were terrible. Bed is as hard as rock. Though the room was spacious, it feels empty. TV is there for display and no channels can be watched. No bathroom towels, just a pathetic piece of soap. The door that we stayed in doesn't look like it can be closed shut. As we were staying at the corner unit, we had a panoramic view of the surrounding areas at high floors, but at night the curtains cannot cover up all the windows, so you may get the possibility of being spied from nearby high rise buildings! If you do have a choice, I suggest considering other hotels unless of course, you DO NOT have a choice.

TV is old and picture is very blur and i cannot see anything. Window outside full of dust. The mattress is very hard and not comfortable. No tube for pipe in toilet, so it is tough for Muslim user or people who do not use tissue for toilet cleaning. Hotel really need investment and upgrading
