a perfect stay”
the location is very good 1 min walk to the lumpini metro station. and there are many restaurants arounf the hostel, from street food to good restaurants. the staff are very friendly and helpful, gave me many informations and try to help me call taxi there are common area on 4th floor and a rooftop nice view and relax room is very clean and with AC in a word a perfect stay. i will stay there everytime i visit bangkok

I stayed at ETZzz a few years ago when it first opened, I was travelling with a friend of mine and we opted for a dorm. From what i can remember the dorms are very clean and spacious, there are lockers for your valubles also. This time round I stayed in a private room with my girlfriend. The room was big and the bed huge and comfy, we had a private bathroom too. The facilities are brilliant, the bathrooms are kept clean as too is the kitchen which has a fridge, a freezer, microwave, hotwater etc, the common area has a big tv with set top box, pc's free to use and there is aceess to the rooftop with awesome views of bangkok. A taxi to khao san road will cost you around 100 Bhat but there are plenty of shops and street food in the area anyway. We felt really secure all the time and the staff were very helpful with everything and their local travel knowledge is brilliant. We will be staying again in the near future.

The location makes it easy to get around Bangkok via MRT or bus. If you are into street food, there are a lot of stalls just around the corner and across the road. However, halal food are not readily available in the area. As for the hostel, the room size is just nice. The toilet is clean but on some nights, the scent linger. The bed sheet was supposed to be changed after three days but mine wasn't and I didn't know about the rule until my last night. I saw the front desk staff is also responsible for cleaning duty. Which is not efficient in my opinion. I had a bad first impression of the staff when I arrived but one particular staff, Sam, was really helpful and friendly. My itinerary was less complicated after he (and another staff on another day) helped to find other transportation options. Generally, some of the staff are nice but one or two were annoyingly indifferent. Wi-fi works okay during my stay so no problem there. There are areas for improvement throughout but I had a nice stay so that's that. You get what you paid for :)

Great location and friendly staffs”
Stay for a night. Great experience overall. The hostel is close to a subway station, around 5 mins on foot. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I got there too early, but had not problem dropping my backpack with them. The room was clean. I stayed in 4-bed dorm room. The air conditioner work great, a must for good sleep in Bangkok during summer. Plenty of food to choose from, both street food venders and fancy restaurants.

Lovely hotel in Bangkok”
similar almost to the quality that I got from Nihao in Taipei or the youth hostel in Lucerne, Switzerland. The quality of aircon is great, bunker bed is comfortable, people are friendly, roof deck is small but cozy for "smoking people" and enjoyable when the sun is down. top floor also has good gathering area for socializing, books to read and to relax. hotel design is attractive. subway access is easy from airport and to city.

Lots of comfort for cheap”
if you don't mind being packed in with other travelers, this hostel is a joy. i booked a simple dorm bed for a little over (less than 7 us dollars) and got a comfy bed, air conditioning, a hot shower and easy access to the mrt. what's not to like? security is not the best (the rooms have locks, but people often don't lock the room when they leave), so maybe check the size of the lockers they provide *before* giving them your money, and be sure to bring a padlock. all in all, don't expect *too* much from a place that is this cheap and you will have a grand time!

OK for a couple of nights”
The room is clean, but the toilet and shower could be cleaner. The location is great, easy to get to anywhere with the subway. Just follow the instructions on their website. Wifi connection was very bad most of the time, a lot of guests were complaining about it. I think wifi is important in a hostel, so you can check out your next destination or place to stay, make contact with friends/family and fellow travelers, and also to book tickets for your trip. Staff friendly most of the time. Etzzz hostel is an ok place to sleep a couple of nights (I stayed 3 nights when I arrived in Bangkok and also the last night of my four week trip), but I wouldn't recommend to stay longer. It is cheap, so it's worth the price but it would be comfortable staying there if it was a bit more clean and had a better wifi connection.

Wonderful experience”
i gave this hostel a try for its good location. just a 15-20 minute walk away to si lom and sala deng where you can find the fun night life in bkk. the rooms are clean with beautiful colours. the staff are warm-hearted and professional. plus, i've met nice roommates over here. it's going to be my stay for thenext trip to bkk.

Super cheap super friendly staff ”
Stayed many times cos it's cheap and never traffic to get there from the airport, Private room no window. Lots of local restaurants and 7/11 around top of that thai massage shops next to the hostel. Amazing value with full of backpackers Ofcourse.

Clean Environment and great location”
Its our first hostel to stay in Bangkok. It is easy accessible from the Lumphini MRT, just walking distance about 5-10 mins, and there are also buses service as well.. Opposite to Thai Boxing Stadium if you are one of the fans.. Nice balcony and Lounge area for guests to hang around, and there're free usage of internet provided in the public area located at the highest floor.

convenient and comfortable ”
I was only in the hotel for a few hours since my day in Bangkok was basically a lay over for my flight. Having said that, the beds were the most comfortable I've had in a dorm type room and it's location near the MRT makes it convenient for exploring the city and going to the airport. It's also near the Lumphini Stadium for some good Muay Thai matches and the beautiful Lumphini Park. My only complaint would be the small size of the bathroom but that's just a minor issue.

Friendly staff! So friendly that I even came back”
My stay was quite nice ! Even though it's a little bit more expensive than a place like Khao San Road, you're not paying for the same service... you're staying right in the heart of the exciting Bangkok, a business area as much as a very humble thai one. Very close from the public transportation, and to the muay thai stadium. My review would not be complete if I didn't thank the staff for their kindness. Not only they're cute as hell, but they fast became my friends ! skillful and talented manager. Thanks all !

Etzzz Hostel”
Fast Wifi. English staff. 5 minutes from the subway station. This is the most important thing in Bangkok. Expensive taxi, traffic jams can you travel this difficult. Good Luck!!

I feel great during my stay at Etzzz. Tho it was a very compact hostel, but the main facilities are still well equipped. The ONLY thing that I'm requesting is... they should have a Hair Dryer in the private room. :)

Money value hostel near the skytrain”
The Etzzz Hostel is a quiet and clean hostel. I can recommand the short distance to the Skytrain (public transport). So the arrival is very easy, even You have heavy luggage and do not like to take part of Bangkok's traffic jam with bus, taxi or tuk-tuk.
