Charming hotel in a beautiful part of Sri Lanka”
We spent 3 nights at Jetwing St Andrew's and was thoroughly satisfied with everything. It's a beautiful historic hotel that kind of takes you back in time. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Maybe the bathrooms need some renovation. But overall we were very happy and would love to come back.

Wonderful, quiet, old Hotel”
Great old Hotel, very quiet, located on the outskirts of Nuwara Elyia, with a wonderful garden. Rooms are old fashioned, but nicely renovated, with modern bathrooms. Very friendly staff, nice evening and breakfast buffet, excellent „high tea from 1:00-6:00 pm. One morning we got breakfast packs as we left at 6:00 am. Every evening a nice fire is lit in one of the rooms.

Old stylish hotel with a beautiful landscape ”
The rooms were clean with all amenities required and we were upgraded the second day to one of the sweets which was nice and made our stay more memorable thanks to the entire staff of jetwing.

Unreliable and rip off ”
Hotel itself was lovely , especially the gardens . Some of the dinning room service were less than congenial . When I mentioned that the hired driver in another place took money out of my purse the hotel manager said his company would supply the best driver and safety . They charged me twice as much for a given distance than any other service I hired . That wasn't the worst of it - I told the manager my destination , a place I had long wanted to visit as I am a gemologist . When the driver arrived in the morning he asked me where I was going . I was surprised the details where not given to him after the lengthy discussion with the manager about their exemplary service ! One of the other managers was present when I gave my destination to the driver AND showed him my booking reservation at the hotel I would be going to . After driving for three hours I notice a road sign that indicates the driver has been going in the wrong direction for three hours !!!!! Compensation incomplete

An ok stay but would not recommend”
We stayed for 3 nights into a standard room. The hotel is quite historic so we expected that vintage charm and we were pleasantly surprised. Old wood floors and tiles .. beautiful. However - the rooms are poorly isolated. We were frequently woken up by people talking / walking in the hall way. We could actually see in our bathroom as the door was misaligned! Our room was well decorated and the bed was very comfortable but had hairs, cockroaches, bathroom was outdated… The water kettle was defective The service was great with some waiters and ignored from others. The baby chairs were dirty and the seat belt broken. In summary - the hotel carries a great brand and history but fails to deliver to its historical reputation. Requires a refresh of bathrooms and training for the staff on responsiveness.
